Laetus was finally smiling like himself again. He rubbed his cheek up against her. "Then maybe... We can just stay like this... For a while." He mumbled, resting his head against her. His eyes closed, seeming to just enjoy the moment.
I always planned for this to be Laetus' big issue. Tis why I made him so young despite his species, but it never came up naturally until now :3 CHARACTER DEVELOPED!
"I'd be fine with that," Maddie mumbled against his skin. "I wish we had someone to take a picture of this. The lamp, the bench, the cuddling. It's art."
Q-Q I feel so bad. But also...I'm kind of laughing at the thought of trying to explain this entire date: "Yeah, so I found out my date kidnaps people for money, then we went to the fair and I threw up and we kissed, and then I made him cry."
Don't feel bad. It had to happen eventually. The alternative is he goes on blind to this until someone close to him died.
