Terri wasn’t very nervous, in fact if anything he was pretty confident. He wasn’t exactly sure what he was going to get her, after all Christmas had seen her getting a lot of jewelry and clothing. Not to mention the Key to his house and his permission to use his credits card without asking. After that there wasn’t much he could actually do. Okay so yes the cards had limits, he wasn’t about to give her access to everything but she could buy herself whatever she wanted. That was the problem, considering he had given her the means to but whatever her heart desired...he wasn’t exactly sure what she wanted. She wasn’t exactly like Skae or any of the other girls that had held his attention for centuries. No matter how long he stayed around her, she never showed signs of being...well affected.
It was around the mark of meeting his parents that the girls started acting...more like him in away and he was amazed that he hadn’t ruined her innocence yet. It was easier to keep the facade as the prince with manors, the gentleman when your folks weren’t basically Tyrants. However once it was kind of out in the open, it was hard not to admit that you were just as bad. Terri had done some research and found something he knew for certain that she didn’t have. In fact he had done everything to make sure that she had no idea what he was doing. All he told her was that the were going on a weekend trip and to pack accordingly.
His bags had already been brought to the car and the boat was waiting at the docks for them because it was the best way to get to where they were going. Of course it would be kind of obvious once they got close but he was determined to build up the suspense. He was obviously capable of much more than a weekend spent on a boat (if it was a ridiculously big and expensive boat.) Terri wasn’t exactly a patient man so when it was fifteen minutes before they were set to leave the house he started getting slight antsy. he watched the stairs waiting for her to come down.
