Shellie pouted a little. "Aw, that sounds like it would be fun to say though!" She said, looking out to the sea again. At the sound of Grant once again making the 'yarr' sound, the small witch laughed and bounced again. "Was that one force of habit too?"

Shellie pouted. She had to concede that. She definitely wouldn't consider being bombarded by cannons to be anything close to a fun time. The small witch exhaled and looked towards the sky. "Well, it's not like you'd be in danger from cannon-fire if you did it now, so why not have a little fun?"

Grant rolled his eyes, chuckling. "Fine, fine. If it'll amuse ye." Grant slowed the boat, standing up. He pushed open the window and stepped onto the Bow of the ship. He replaced his hat, and used his eye to create a breeze, so his coat moved slightly. The pirate pulled his blunderbuss from his back, using it to gesture as he began to speak.

"Yarr! Avast ye' Scurvy dogs! We be preparin' fer boardin! A mighty haul of loot is before us! Now! Fire the cannons off the port bow! Man th' Mortar! Today be a good day ta die! YARRR!"

Grant punctuated his little speech by firing into the sky, a loud crack that left smoke trailing from his gun.

The witch continued to pout until it looked like Grant was going to concede to her silly little whim. She was excited, to say the least. She'd always liked reading her books about pirates and their eel-maid lovers, so actually hearing a little pirate talk would make those stories feel so much more real and epic.

As she felt the boat come to a stop, she felt secure enough to let go of the railing and move a little so she was at the optimal dramatic angle.

When the pirate spoke the small witch bounced up and down in excitement, little hops and excited claps. She was laughing softly, as if she'd just witnessed the most amusing thing ever.

"That was fantastic! Bravo, bravo!"

Grant rolled his eyes and stepped back off the bow of his boat, over-exaggerating a bow towards Shellie before he did so.

"Thank ye'." He said, sitting down, the boat rocking lightly in the water. He glanced at the island, smiling. He had to admit, that was actually kind of fun. The positive praise by shellie wasn't hurting either. He chuckled, leaning back.

The ship was drifting a bit, but none of the currents led anywhere dangerous to the vessel, so Grant didn't mind that much.
