As the sun went up for the day, the city of Manta Carlos came to life and with it came voices and sounds of traffic as businesses planned for the day and regular folk went to work to keep up the cycle of living on this island. Within a few minutes it was difficult to go anywhere without bumping into people, strangers, and newcomers that had just arrived earlier on the boat. It was enough that it brought a bit of confusion to those that weren't used to it.

Ain had woke up on a park bench in Oceanic Park, cleaned himself up in a public bathroom and was off into the city proper. To anyone that may have saw him - not counting his red-scaled helmet and red cloak - he appeared to be a bum on the side of the street. Well, it was certainly true that he didn't have a job, money, or anything of real worth aside from his personal belongings that he had had for over a hundred years; these mere magically augmented though so they never really degrade without actual damage.

Taking out a white cellphone with a picture of a black dragon on the back, he looked it over, he needed to find the owner of the cellphone. Why exactly? It was mostly a personal reason, something he remembered from his past. So he decided to show the phone to people from a distance, was this even going to work?

"I said the Drakenheart account," Zora said patiently as she walked with Marie her personal assistant who had a bunch of folders and a clipboard in hand. "Not the Ridgemen,... the date needs to be moved up before they can sign the contract," she explained to the young girl as they walked. "Oh, and I need you to call Mr. Drago and set up a meeting with the security company for the event coming up."

"Drakenheart account, move date, and Mr Drago... got it." Marie said as she looked down at her notes. "Anything else?" she asked.

"No, that's fine..." Zoraida said as they walked from the offices near the park to the center. They had a meeting later on, but Zora had decided to go out and grab some fresh coffee and take a break. "You can go..." she said waving off her assistant.

And as soon as Marie took off, Zoraida spotted a young man holding out what looked like a cell phone to people passing by him. Frowning slightly, she wondered what he was doing, and so stood there watching him for a long moment, taking in his strange helmet and cape. What an odd person, she mused quietly.

People mostly ignored Ain, and the people that got closer to look at the phone were suddenly scared shitless and quickly moved away from him due to his aura. With so many people around, and the range of his aura people just kept getting hit by the fear effect, he hoped that it wouldn't cause the police to be called. He kept trying for a while, before his eyes caught someone that was distinctly different from all others, a human women that he just couldn't help looking at and she seemed to have been observing him too.

Curious.

Ain stopped showing the cellphone to others, and walked towards the women but not within his aura range and stopped. He put the cellphone infront of him and stared at her with his violet eyes within his helmet, he didn't know why the response would be different but this girl clearly stood out from any crowd in Manta Carlos City that he had seen. He was always a good judge of character when he was in the other world, which he had used to get close to people.... and hurt them.

He remained still, fidgeting ever so slightly on the spot.

Zora quietly observed how people seemed to avoid him. This she found to be somewhat curious. It was as if he scared people away, yet she couldn't see why or how. Sure, he looked a bit odd with his red helmet and cape, but no odder than some folk that were undead or part creature of some kind.

Noticing that he had spotted her watching him, Zoraida cocked her head and arched an eyebrow slightly in acknowledgement that she had been watching him, but remained in her spot as he came her way, wondering what he wanted from her.

When he stopped a few feet from her and held out the phone in front of him, Zoraida continued to regard him curiously for a second longer, glancing then at the cell phone. Deciding to help him, she started forward towards him, her interest piqued somewhat now.

"Are you, by chance, trying to return a lost cell phone?" she asked him. "Because if you are, there are better ways to do it." Zoraida said with a smile as she reached out to take the cell phone from him, "May I?" she asked looking at him for confirmation before she took the phone.

Ain watched as she got closer to him and was a bit taken back, she was entering his cursed dark aura without realizing it and when she does she will probably run off like the others. There was a few exceptions to this, in recent encounters it didn't have the same effect like how it didn't seem to work against the angel called Sterling, but the girl appeared to only be a human even if his eyes tell him that there might be more about her.

He closed his eyes, and nodded to the first question - whether he was looking to return a cellphone - expecting her to leave after that but neglected to pull away. He then shrugged at the prospect of their being another way, he simply didn't know how after all.

Huh?

She wasn't reacting even though she was inside his aura, he opened his eyes to see her right in front of him ready to take the phone. She is fine with this, or does she not notice it at all? Kind of shocked that he encountered another weird person who wasn't effect be his aura, he simply nodded again and handed the cellphone off to her.

The cellphone itself was unremarkable, simple white cellphone with a few grains of sand mixed into the cracks, it still seemed to function but it was locked by a four digit password; on the bottom was the black dragon picture which was oddly shaped and distinct.

When the curious looking helmeted man with violet coloured eyes nodded his head, Zoraida took the cell phone from him. Turning it screenside, she pushed a button to start it up. A blue welcome screen came up, inviting her to put in her password. Staring thoughtfully at this, she tried a number combination - a factory setting password of sorts - and waited, the PIN was incorrect. It asked her to try again. Not wanting to lock the device trying another passcode, she turned it around in her hands and saw the black dragon on the back.

It looked similar to one of the dragon families sigils on the island, but it wasn't. She had dealt with the Drakenhearts and the Rukt'Ins before and knew this was not their dragon clan's symbol. Looking up at the man, now noticing the blond hair under his helmet, she asked with interest, "Where did you find this?"

This was a shock, but things were actually going well for once, was it actually easy to communicate and he just gave up early? No no, he is just dealing with people that were weird like him, that is all. He leaned in to see what the girl was doing, but it had a password lock on the screen not that he really knew much about such things, he was technologically illiterate due to never really using such a device and any device he tried to use seemed to break near instantly.

Ain looked directly at her when she asked where he found it, he couldn't talk so he had to think of another way to get his point across when it hit him on how he could. He took the cellphone from her and shook it, causing sand to fall out of it into his hands. Without much thought he handed the sand over to her, which was sand from the beach if she was able to figure that much out.

Did he perhaps find someone that was smart and useful, and if he was going to be honest, easy on the eyes?

Zora let the man take the phone from her and just watched inquiringly as he gave the phone a few good shakes, lodging free what looked to be sand? When he placed the yellow-brown sand in her hand she looked down at the grains for a second, furrowing her brow at this, and then glanced back up at him. "The beach?" she asked him questioningly, her gaze instinctively moving around them now searching to see if there was a beach somewhere nearby.

"Which one?" she insisted, not unkindly. Manta Carlos was full of beaches, unfortunately, and while it was a good clue it didn't help her narrow things down much.

"Was it a beach near the pier?" she asked him, "or somewhere else?"

Ain got pretty excited that they were making some sort of progress, though he wasn't sure how going back to the beach would help. The excitement soon faded though when the question of what beach came up, it was the beach by the water was his immediate thought, um, we are on an island idiot. He blinked unable to answer, he didn't really remember where the beach was at all.

He tilted his head and shifted his body, did they reach a deadend already? He kept his eyes on the girl he just met, even though he didn't know anything about her it was clear that she could help him search and ask around better than he could anyway.

Handing the cellphone back to the girl, he pointed over to a single man that was sweeping outside a bar that presently was closed; it was morning after all. His disposition remained quite serious, but he was a bit more lively than usual not that the girl would be able to tell from the short time they had... conversed. With this girl he could probably get more information...

Zora looked at the young man and nodded twice - sort of understanding - as he used his body language to communicate with her. She noticed then that he hadn't spoken a word to her yet and wasn't sure if he could or couldn't talk or simply chose not to.

Taking back the cell phone, Zoraida then looked with open curiosity in the direction that he was pointing. It seemed like he was indicating that she should approach the man with the broom. Looking at him for a moment with some uncertainty, she gave a tiny shrug, deciding that it couldn't hurt to ask the man.

"Excuse me?" she called out as she approached the man, "Would you happen to know if anyone has lost a white cellphone like this one?" she said as she showed him the device she was holding in her hand. "It seems that that gentleman over there found it on the beach," she explained, gesturing to the silent young man a few yards away.
