Ain laughed along with Zoraida at the loss of her high heels, it didn't seem funny when he brought it up but her response just cracked him up. Oh crap, he was actually having a good time in this situation, he really had not laughed this hard in... well he didn't really remember. It truly wasn't the end of the world, but the girl must have thought he was really weird to be having fun after breaking out of a base of a gang, after fighting, after knocking out people.

This time he had to calm himself purposely, and returned to his normal serious expression, yet again.

He walked right up to her as she continued to talk, the rain sounded like it was slowing down now, but he didn't know how to say it. Looking down at Zoraida he nodded to her kindly, he didn't think much of it at the time but he did sort of help her out didn't he? That was a pretty nice feeling.

As the rain finally stopped he noticed immediately, he grabbed onto her arm and intended to lead her out, his violet eyes did however fall to her feet in concern as they left, wondering if he should perhaps carry her - disrespectful as that may be he would be able to run fast with her.

Also having noticed the rain had started to slow and then stopped, Zoraida felt his warm hand on her arm as he let her know that they could probably leave now. Glancing down at her bare feet when he looked at her with concern, she just shrugged. There really was nothing she could do now except get her feet wet and dirty. It certainly wasn't the most pleasantest of things but she'd survive.

"It's fine. A little water and dirt never hurt anyone," she said to him, not wanting to make a big issue about it. Then walking over to the doorway, she stopped and looked outside, judging the wetness of the ground, spotting a few puddles and seeing where there was less chance of stepping in mud.

"Well, it's been ... interesting," Zora said, gazing at the elf before she left, she had been going to say "nice" but realised that nice was a pleasantry and this afternoon, well, it had been a little too much to be considered nice.

Ain tilted his head as he glanced up at the sunlight peeking through the clouds, the weird mystery was over, they didn't really get the cellphone back to the owner but he figured it was okay to leave that one alone; plus he had a feeling that the magic tool might be better off in her hands anyway.

His eye shifts off to the side...

He found himself raising a hand to wave her off, he didn't move right away as his eye had seen something down the way. Putting his helmet back on once Zora was no longer able to see him, he stepped out into the middle of all the warehouses to block the way as about fifteen cloaked figures appeared to be going the same way as Zoraida and stopped in front of Ain, he put his hand out to get their attention and out of the corner of his eye he watched as Zoraida was gone from sight.

"Where did Zoraida Del Borque go?!" the voice of that same lizardman from before, as he took out his magic tool. "OPEN," he said as the magic flared up on the device, "Damn, did she get away? Say something damn it!"

Taking out his long bow again, he leaped up and nocked and arrow, the arrow fired at the lizard man's head and this time the lizardman brought up a Shield spell and deflected it away. The other cloaked figures then took out their magic tools, in unison said, "OPEN."

The next few minutes were Ain dodging the Black wings spells - Icicles, Firebolts, and Windblades - this time each of them covered against Ain's arrows with their new trick the Shield spell which kept them from being hit by any of his arrows that he fired at them. Dodging through the warehouses nearby, they had no problem with blowing them up with magic to try to kill him or were just reckless.

Though he was quick they were working together and had hit him with a few good hits, leaving him feeling a bit dazed.

He had run out of tricks, all except the one last card in his deck but he was reluctant to use it until now. Using his speed he continued to dodge through the spells and hid inside the same warehouse from before.

"Damn you, stand still for a second--" the lizardman paused to talk and Ain knew this was the best moment to strike decisively.

Ain flew through the upper window with a crash, his left hand was surging with dark lightning that sparked magically, and with great speed he landed next to the lizardman and extended his hand outward. The light in the area seemed to just flash, and alter in an instant draining the color from the surroundings as a giant black flower appeared just overtop of the Black Wings. Everything became kind of weird for a second, as the pedals fell down on them - the pedals looked really weird, wilted and... it was hard to explain but anyone that saw it knew it was evil.

As the pedal moved to touch the Black Wings they stood there not knowing what to do as they all screamed in pain and held their heads from the heavy psychic damage of the spell, some of them instantly falling unconscious while others fell to their knees including the lizardman.

Moving up to them, Ain knocked them all out with the limbs of his long bow, before collapsing to his knees in exhausion. This was the second time he used this cursed spell, the first time he used it he woke up two days later and was very lucky to be alive since he was in the Forbidden forest at the time. It seemed that he managed to avoid losing consciousness this time, but he knew that it would be a good while before he could pull that off again; He really just wasn't the type to use magic after all.

After dealing with the threat, he struggled to his feet and limped out of the old warehouse district with several cuts, bruises, and a few small burns...
