Private Finished Kind-ling

"Sure thing... company is always nice to have. Bit disappointed that you can't show off your thing here, but it's just idle curiosity. I can deal with not knowing," Adelaida said, taking a seat on the grass. She always liked seeing how others let loose, whether with their powers or as people in need of release.

Adelaida's curiosity would not settle down however, so she began to probe a little. "Paint me a word picture of how it's like when you cut loose. I like knowing how others do it... gives me a sense of... balance."

"So. A fire werewolf is the picture I'm getting here. Sounds cool outta context, but as someone who also has to deal with a little too much fire, it's probably a bit inconvenient. At least until you get the hang of it."

Adelaida chose to take this small confession as an indication of future trust. She started removing her clothes and folding them into a neat pile without so much as a complaint, revealing her burns. However, her true intent was something else entirely.

"Since you were nice enough to share a little something I'm ninety percent sure you're not comfortable with, here's a little something from my end."

Wearing only the minimum amount of clothing possible to be considered clothed, Adelaida revealed her true form.

A ring of flame began from her heart, and took over her body. She began to burn, burn brightly, as if she were the head of a torch. None of her features remained visible save her eyes, and her shape was only vaguely human.

"I am a conduit to the Living Flame. There is no amount of heat you can produce that would scare me."

The revelation didn't have quite the effect Adelaida expected. Then again, she only met this person a minute or so ago.

She began to send the fires back to the Living Flame, slowly turning back to normal and getting dressed. Even if the night was muggy, Adelaida was always tuned to and very sensitive to the cold.

"I've worked on it for years. Decade and a half, almost, but I got the basics down in the first few weeks. How about you? Werewolf giving you trouble?"

"Oooh." Adelaida let her interest through her normally contained voice, and her eyes had a little glint. Strange mutations and alterations, or whatever they were, always grabbed her attention. Part of it was a sense of solidarity, as she herself was basically a living portal, and part of it was just a genuine interest in the out of the ordinary.

"I'm probably a minority here but that's genuinely just... cool. Wonder how your vision works? It must have some strange brain circuitry going on to process a fifty percent eye increase..."

Adelaida rambled for a bit, and straightened up once she noticed she was slowly but surely leaning inward.

"You know, thanks for showing me this. It's really fascinating stuff."

"Alright, alright, I'll calm down. We can walk if you want," Adelaida said. She knew to back off for a bit, knowing that at this point pressure was likelier to make her companion clam up rather than reveal more.

It was lovely weather for a walk, though a little colder than she would have liked. She let a little film of red flame coat her arms and neck to warm up, and folded her sleeves.

"Fireproof clothes are pretty damn expensive, but considering what I am... well worth it."
