What I Like
- Angst - I love getting into the darker aspects of characters, their lives, personalities, relationships, etc. As long as the angst doesn't conflict with my triggers, I just might be up for it. I'm not a fan when the angst goes on for too long or becomes too exaggerated, so I want to keep it reasonable to the story.
- Slice-of-Life and Fluff - Happy and cute plots make roleplaying a lot easier on my mind. Plots like characters braiding each other's hair, cooking for each other, or trading presents. As long as there's a good conversational hook, I won't get bored.
- Powers/Skills - Situations where characters shows off their abilities, discuss them, and/or play around with them. This can be something as simple as playing tag while flying, or having a snowball fight through telekinesis. I just like playing around with my characters' powers and seeing how others write the abilities of their own characters.
What I Dislike
- NSFW/Mature - Not that I can do Mature threads as I am only 17-years-old, I'm just not into my characters getting into sexual situations. I don't mind characters or roleplaying characters with sexual themes, but sometimes I'll try to rush past anything getting too specific, even if it's PG13. I am okay with characters who make dark or sexual jokes and references, as long as it doesn't become or steps into my triggers.
- Action - I do enjoy action and quick-paced plots, but I'm inexperienced in writing detailed and well-organized fights. I don't mind trying to practice them, but don't be surprised if I get anxious that my roleplay isn't up to my usual standards, not meeting your standards, or if I want to back out. I would like to practice my action roleplaying, but I don't want to be put in a stressful situation .

Triggers - This is a list of things that can potentially send me into a panic or bad long-term discomfort. I'm much calmer if I approach these subjects myself. I'd prefer if I got a warning before having these things show up in a plot I'm in. That way I can emotionally prepare myself or we can discuss ways to avoid it or portray it so I don't feel the need to leave the roleplay.

That often conflicts with his sadistic nature, from his love of hunting to his knowledge of guns.

Smokey has trouble understanding the culture on the island, finding people to treat them too much like a person when they view themself as an extension of a person. Because they are magically bonded to Roa Asiel, they view themself as an extension of him.

Konpeitō is a NEK0, a bio-engineered catperson. He was raised as a servant, daughter, and lover to a wealthy man in Japan and convinced himself that he lived a happy life. After being stripped of that life, he had gone through an identity crisis. After making a deal with Penelope Pernicious to give away his bond with his father, he has relaxed significantly. He no longer views himself as a servant and finds mild disgust towards his old life. He strives to be more independent and stronger, though his type of strength will be more with his mind. The idea of being used and controlled disgusts him.
Currently, he wonders how good of a person he is, as his father worked a side job as a criminal information broker. Having no need to learn morals for most of his life, he's struggling to figure out how to be a good person as he battles his new bloodthirsty instincts and his desires to do the same information-gathering he used to help his dad with. The latter is linked to his desire to not become like his father and be better than him as a way to boost his own confidence. Additionally, he had a strong urge to continue building his powers, changing anything he dislikes about himself.

Sage Florentin is from an alternate dimension where she and her party fought monsters on the quest to save the princess from the evil Dark Baron. In her group of friends, called the Lionesses, she played the role of the healer, who lacked magic of her own (other than her intuitiveness of plants) and made up for it with her alchemic knowledge. On May 10th she arrived on the island and is currently looking for a way to return her and her friends home so they can continue their quest.
At least, that's what she thinks her story is. In reality, she is a dream creation of Lycia who was made real and sent to Manta Carlos. Sage is on a quest with a goal that is not truly possible.

Believing humans to be evil, there was a long time where he was aggressive towards any humans on the island, but he eventually learned to relax his opinions on them.
Nowadays, he tries to show off his maturity, tired of being a child. He wants to skip more grades and become a YouTuber who does video essays and vlogs on games and social issues. It's pretty easy to get at him emotionally, with his biggest insecurity revolving around him being looked down upon.

Demons - Rei's views on demons are shaky at best and inconsistent at worst. He initially felt pride in being a demon. Now used to the culture of the island, he feels shame and disgust towards being a Lust demon, believing that makes him innately sexual. He also dislikes being a child Lust demon, used to the uncomfortable looks he gets when people associate him with "child" and "lust," even if his abilities are not centered only on sexual lust. That, and just the general disrespect that comes with being a child his age.
Ideas for being demons for Rei's to interact with (always open to suggestions):
- Family - Being a Hellion, Rei has an evergrowing list of family members he is still discovering and would like to know more about. Because he only lived with his mom and had a sheltered life, he can be somewhat clingy to relatives. It would be interesting for Rei to meet and talk to more members of his family, whether it be a good or bad encounter.
- Non-Family - Rei finds himself more comfortable around demons in general. When he learns someone is a demon, he gravitates towards them and likes pointing out their species to show their connection. It will be easier to get him to open up and befriend him just from that.
- Adult Demons - Adult demons are people Rei tries to be on his best behavior around. He wants to show he is mature around them and is more likely to stand close to them when he is feeling tense. It would be nice for Rei to have more adult demons to aspire to be like and keep him on better behavior when around.

Ebviony is a fae-eldritch hybrid made to never age, resulting in a permanent childish view of reality. They were raised in a fae court that would kidnap children, which backfired, leading to fae coming to destroy them. Ebviony was evacuated to Manta Carlos while everyone else from their court met grim fates. After spending some time on the islets, they were adopted by Celeste Forestier.
Ebviony hopes to find powerful beings to help them save the previous residents of their court from the fae who destroyed everything. In the process, they are becoming more eldritch.

Archard doesn't live on the island, as they need to focus more on their homeland, Ilada, but they will visit for major holidays, to check in with family, or to talk politics with potential alliances. Archard treats Manta Carlos like a vacation spot where they can indulge in their hedonistic hobbies. Still, I am open for plotting with them, since they aren't so disconnected from the island there's a rare chance of interaction with them.
Currently, Ilada is having a bit of a problem. Ilada, the god (who also functions as the land and four separate powerful elements fused into one god-like being) did an appearance "upgrade" for the oricenta. They changed all of oricenta's owl features to dragon-like features, giving them an appearance very similar to kirin. Most oricenta don't want to go against the ruling of their god, but such a sudden change without any discussion has given everyone a feeling of distrust and unhappiness. Archard is trying to settle those feelings to avoid oricenta moving from Ilada, not because they want to explore the world, but because they're losing faith in their god.

Henghai has visited the island a few times as a traveling doctor for the supernatural before returning to his homeland. He now lives on Manta Carlos with his family, works as a teacher, is the teacher advisor for the Gardening Club, and occasionally helps out at his husband Anrong's café, Morning Glory. Henghai's reputation is that of a lover of memes and a trickster with a bit of a lying streak.
The only idea of a plot I have for Henghai to address his difficulties over being an oricenta. Unlike other oricenta, he doesn't indulge in his hunting instincts as much. Or he thinks he doesn't. Instead of being a physical sadist, he's a psychological sadist. In a way, he values himself higher than other oricenta, thinking he can resist his baser instincts, while also feeling beneath the rest because of his inability to completely fit in and his youth. The idea of being an empathic healer who is also from a sadistic species doesn't mix well to him either. Some of these insecurities are pushed onto his children, like his dissatisfaction of Junchi enjoying hunting so much and subtly encouraging Remi to explore a non-oricenta side to her.
