Growing rather loudly, his nose was having a little trip with all the new smells that were on the strange island. It seemed that the humans here had a much different smell to them then he had expected, but since it was a school for 'special people' he presumably that little to no things on this island were normal. Sitting back on his back legs, and wrapping his huge fluffy tail around him, he looked around his surrounding area. It was a nice place, as the trees were tall and thick, the air smelt nice, and most of all, it was quiet. That was one thing that he couldn't stand about some of the places he had tried to call home. They were noisy and too close to big cites. Blinking a few times, he wondered if there were any animal hunters that when into the area that he was now going to call home. There most likely was, but he just hoped that they were friendly enough to not be hostile towards him. He really didn't feel like fighting.

Attel had communicated with the animals of the island, and he was relived that there was a fairly large pack of wolves that were living in the area. Closing his eyes for a second, he wasn't sure as to what he could do in the woods that he was in. As most people might have been alarmed by his height, he quickly fled to the forest, wanting to feel at home rather than eyes staring at him. Thinking about if it would be a good idea to go prance around the school, she knew that were would at least be a few students that would ask, or just get on his back so that he could take them to their next class. He had no problem with that, but at the same he didn't want to feel like a school bus. Opening his eyes, he sighed rather loudly as he observed the area in front of a little cave he had found and was now calling home.

Things weren't going so well. They weren't going as well as she thought. New friends? None. Well, she couldn't call Morbius a friend. Not by a long shot. All she had to do apparently was dress up in some uncomfortable garb and stand there and look pretty. According to him, she had 'sex appeal'. Whatever. It's not like she could see herself. Honestly, she thought she was going to be doing more than just 'posing', but it was fine so long as he was doing his part in finding her a doctor to fix her sight.

Other than that there was just the school and...Nothing else which brought her out to the woods. Nature...The sounds, smells, the overall warmth of life was very comforting. There was no one to sit there and scream orders at her or people whispering about her condition or others that took pity on her because she was blind. At this point, people could go to hell for all she cared. She didn't need people before, she didn't need them now.

Nope. Not ever. Yeah, maybe she should give up on this stupid dream and live in these woods. What did they call people like that...hermits? That would be ideal. Then she could fashion her own staff or something instead of waiting for some dumb order to come in from the school since they didn't think she could function without it. Yet, here she was, wandering deeper into the woods without--

"Wahh--" Her foot got caught in a tangle of roots and down she fell, feeling a painful wrench in her ankle. Damn roots! The world was after her, she just knew it. Not only was her foot stuck, but she knew her uniform got--

SIGH..

and someone was here. She didn't pick up on their aura...What the hell. She didn't sense any ill intentions so... "...Is someone there?" Might as well call for help at this point. So much for being independant! She clawed at the roots and tried to pull her foot out, but the sharp pains put a stop to that quick. Hope it isn't a sprain...

Blinking a few times as he once again observed the sides of him, his ears quickly perked up at the sound of something. Looking around cautiously, it seemed that the noise was coming from his left side, and it wasn't all that far away. Getting up from his sitting position, he carefully walked towards the sound, looking up and down for the source of it. A few seconds later it seemed that a human voice emerged from the direction he was going in. Walking around the trees, he spotted a human girl that seemed to have gotten her foot caught in something. "I am here human." He answered her question calmly, not wanting to freak her out and make her leave, as she didn't seem hostile. Looking down at her ankle, it seemes that there were some roots wrapped around her foot. It would be easy enough for him to bite them off without harming her, but since she was the first human to venture into his part of the woods, and since she seemed calm enough, she was going to ask first. "Would you like me to bite off the roots human?"

Human. So the entity wasn't a human afterall. His aura said that much, but what exactly this thing was, she wasn't so sure. One thing she knew though was that this creature was huge. The aura was one big mass and it didn't help that she couldn't focus properly. Nao considered herself lucky that this creature offered to bite away the roots instead of her head. She wouldn't have been able to do anything about it.

Unlike most things out there in the world, the stranger didn't seem to want to take advantage of the situation. Instead, it felt like it was being cautious...for her sake. He seemed to actually give a damn about whether he was scaring her or not. "If...You don't mind, i'd appreciate it," she replied. This was...unusual. Never did she expect someone to kindly help her. She wondered what he wanted in return...

Nodding to the human girl, he bent his neck down towards her, grabbing a hold of the roots gently, not wanting to accidentally bite her foot. Once he was certain that he had gotten the roots, he let his jaws snap to roots off of her foot. Pulling them away from the human, he flung his head to the left as he dismissed the roots into the woods, sending them a few meters away from them. Looking back at the girl, he lightly sat down beside her, observing her with detail. "May I ask what you are doing in these woods?" He wanted to know her reasons, as if she was indeed here to hunt or to terrorize the place, he wouldn't allow it. He wasn't sure as to why anyone would want to go into the woods in the first place, considering that anything could happen, especially if someone was alone like she was. He would have thought that everyone would have at least brought something to protect themselves with, as he was sure that not all of the animals n this island were as nice as he was. Thankfully he had been around to get her out of the roots. "And what is your name, human?" He may as well ask that, just encase she were to come back into the woods, or if she turned out to be a threat. It would be easier for him to remember a face and a name.

She waited patiently and stilled herself as the giant moved in for the roots. She could feel the wash of his warm breath through her sock. Nope, she wasn't about to squirm and have him accidentally make off with her foot. The roots crackled and ripped, the bindings upon her ankle vanishing as promised. The first thing she did was 'inspect' her ankle. Fingers poked and prodd--Ouch! It didn't feel swollen, but it certainly was bruised. She was going to have to stay off of it for a bit. Damn.

Me? I don't know. I like the woods...I don't know what they look like but...It feels nice, you know? It's a nice place to come to when the city life is too much," she gave him her honest answer. "I came from a village so...I didn't have to deal with as much people. My name's Nao," It was better than being called human anyway. "What's yours? I don't want to call you...'it' or something."

Listening to her talk, he was happy with her reply, but it also made him question what she had said. As it seemed she couldn't see the woods, it would seem that the girl was blind. Thinking abut it, it would explain a bit of the reason as to why she hadn't seen the roots, or why as was unable to do more to get out of them. In a way, it was good for him that she was blind, as most people got scared by him. He liked that she had came from a village, which may make her have a bit more respect for animals and the woods then most did. Hopefully that was the case, as this girl seemed interesting already. Hearing her name, his ears twitched a bit at the name. It was, interesting, and not common. Nodding to her, a few seconds later, it seemed that Nao wanted to know his name. "That name is very interesting. My name is Attel Jay Minwater." He thought that it made sense to say his full name besides of having to say it later on. "Why would I be an it? Are you unsure if I am male?" The sentence confused him slightly, but it was understandable considering he was a giant wolf. A giant talking wolf.

"Attel huh? That's...pretty neat I like it," She thought her name was bland and often debated on finding some kind of nickname since putting down a false name these days was illegal. At least someone appreciated it. His was pretty unique in itself.

"Well...It's not that. If you weren't going to tell me your name, I wouldn't know what to call you? I don't...know what you are but," she pulled herself closer. There was that hint of um....dog breath, but there was no way she was talking to a giant dog..wolf...thing, right? She had never heard of talking creatures in modern day, only in fairy tales and legends she heard people speak of. No way. His aura was huge and no matter how hard she focused in on it, the aura just wouldn't take shape. It was a fiery blue mass...That was talking to her.

She pulled herself closer to him and cautiously reached out. "...May I? I hope you don't mind...I just want to 'see' who my savior is," she chuckled with a hint of nervousness.

Nodding as he complimented his name, he was happy that someone liked it. It was a weird name, but he himself liked it as it wasn't a common one, as he himself was unique, so it suited him that he would have a bizarre name. As she continued to talk, he reminded himself that she was indeed blind, so trying to guess what he was would prove a bit of a challenge for her, as most people would guess a huge wolf as their first answer. Blinking a few times at the human below him, he listened her her as she extended a hand towards him, as it seemed that she wanted to see as to what he felt like, or in her case to see him. "You may, I don't mind at all." He said calmly as he leaned a bit closer to her. If she couldn't guess what he was, he would tell her.

She reached out like a child in want almost and...hands instinctively flinched upon feeling the silky fur coat. It felt healthy, soft, and smooth and...nice. "Oh wow..." she breathed as her hands carefully roamed to...his snout. Cold, wet...That must have been his nose.. a big nose. The aura didn't lie about the wolf's size. He was HUGE! Pink lips parted in amazement as her hands traveled up to his face, touched his brow...even his ears! She even chuckled and gave them a little tug. "So I was right after all...You are a wolf. You're...beautiful," By the time she had gotten a feel of Attel, she had greatly closed the distance between them. His fur tickled her nose and she turned away to sneeze. "Ahah! Sorry! Can't help it, you've got a really nice coat," Wow..the idea of befriending a giant wolf like Attel...she could imagine comfy nights sleeping on his back or something. She wouldn't even have to worry about the cold because he felt so warm. "I've..Never met anything like you before...are there others like you out here?"
