As she touched him, there was a weird sensation that he hadn't felt in a long time. Closing his eyes, he let the girl roam her hands over him, feeling his coat, nose, ears and more softly. It felt nice that someone wanted to admire him, or want to feel his coat, as most ran away in fear from his alarming size. As she inched closer to him with every second, he opened his eyes as she began to talk. "Thank you Nao." No one had ever called him beautiful, which made him feel rather special that a human thought that of him. As she sneezed due to his coat, he leaned back just a bit for her, not wanting her to sneeze again due to him. "Thank you again, it's white and gray if you wanted to know, though I am unsure if you have seen those colors." There was no grantee that she had ever been able to see, or if she even knew what colors looked like, but she thought that he may as well tell her. As she asked if there were others like him, she shook his head in a no, though she knew she most likely hadn't felt or heard it. "Sadly no, I come from far away, and I was in a way banished to find another home. You wont' be seeing any other 6'3 tall wolves around here."

She waited for a response..which didn't seem to come right away. That probably was a no and sure enough, she was right about that. Most people...and apparently other creatures were used to talking to someone with all six of their senses so most likely they were doing something that hinted in the negative like nodding or shaking their head. Anyway, it was a mighty shame that he was so far away from home. He was...Kind of like her, only she wasn't banished or at least she hoped she wasn't. According to her father, she was sent away for schooling and to somehow cure her condition. She wasn't stupid. "Wow. That's sad i'm sorry to hear it. Looks like we both have something in common," she sat back down, not wanting to creep the wolf out too much with excessive petting. "My family thinks of my condition as a weakness and back home, it's...I dunno, shameful, I guess so they sent me away. Father said it was for school. I don't really care. I don't want to be where I'm not wanted, know what I mean?" she rose to her feet with hands to the air. Gotta have a good stretch! "I haven't made friends here. Well, I got some job, but all I do is dress up and my boss is kind of a jerk," she paused with a tinge of red to her cheeks. It felt a little silly and almost childish to ask...

"Do you uh...wanna be friends?"

Listening to the human girl as she explained her situation, it seemed that in a way they were the same. Both not wanted by their families, or the people that were close to them. It was stupid, that someone or something could be so mean to someone who doesn't deserve it. Nonetheless, there was nothing he could do to improve what happened to her, or to himself. All he could do was at least try to be nice to the girl in front of him. It seemed that she felt a bit, uncomfortable. Was it that? Or maybe it was shyness or embarrassment. He couldn't tell for sure, though it became obvious when she asked him a question. "Yes, of course, I would like that."

She waited, hands behind her head. She could totally understand why he would say no. Maybe it was weird having a human as a companion and maybe he didn't trust humans--

Wait. All of that nonsense she thought of was quickly thrown out the window and she turned to the big wolf. Her smile came back with a vengance. "Wait, really?!" This was actually pretty exciting. "So it's settled!" and she was really looking foward to it too, "I'll come by whenever I can. It's a little difficult though. My staff broke during some kind of crazy fight I got sucked into..So it just means I have to concentrate harder. I should be getting one in soon, but I dunno when. Hopefully soon because honestly, I like it better here than the school. Heh," she couldn't help but comb her fingers through his coat again.

Blinking as the girl seemed surprised by his response, he saw nothing wrong with having a human friend, or a friend in general. As the girl explained to him that she would most likely be busy, and that she would visit him whenever she could, considering most people on the campus were now afraid of him due to his size. As she combed a hand through his fur, he moved his body toward slightly for it to be easier for her to pet him if she wanted. "That's alright, take as much time as you need to get back on track. I'll be here." He liked her company, but in his mind he knew that she was still human, and they had more needs than a wolf would. "Do you have to get back soon Nao?" She asked as he relaxed his body slightly.

Attel did have a point. It was probably getting late due to the chill in the wind. Did time pass by that quick? She rubbed her bare arms. It was probably later than she thought, but honestly she didn't want to go back. Then again, it seemed like she was welcomed here anytime and she was only right there at the academy. It didn't take long the last time so it shouldn't for the next time...Which was going to be as soon as she could get away from schoolwork. "Yeah...I should get going. Better get back or else it'll get to dark for me to see. HAHA!" Ohh, she just cracked herself up too much. "Why don't you stop by the academy sometime? I know you're big n'all but, i'm pretty sure people are used to seeing weird things around here."

Listening to the girl, agreed to her statement. She should be getting home, as he didn't want her catching a cold from being outside when it is cold. Moving a bit closer to her as she asked him to sometime come on campus, to here all of the people were, a small sigh escaped him. That wouldn't really be the best idea for him to do. Last time he had done something like that, he had gotten chased out of that town with fire and pitchforks, calling him a demon and unnatural. He wasn't much liked by humans, but maybe he would give it a try for his new friend. "I will think about it Nao, though it would be pointless as I wouldn't know where to go, and I don't think I would fit very well in the school." He nodded slowly, even though he knew that Nao wouldn't be able to see it. "Would you like me to walk you back, or perhaps you'd like to ride on my back?" The offer was a weird one, though the last thing he wanted was for his first friend don the island to get hurt.

Of course he would feel a little...Odd suddenly taking a visit to society. He was bigger than the average wolf...Or that's what he said anyway. She didn't have a clue how big wolves got so it was a little difficult trying to understand where he came from. At least he promised her some kind of effort. He didn't need to worry too much either. People worried about even weirder things than a giant werewolf! She even heard people talking about some guy called Lelei. He was some shark-man or something along the lines of that.

And then he made it even better; he was offering to take her home! That was probably a big step for him and so soon! " I-If you don't mind. I've uh...never rode a wolf before," she muttered. In fact, she had never ridden a thing in her life! Not even horses. Her siblings got to do that while she was forced to stay in the house. Her hand roamed down from his head and to his back. Once he knelt down for her to climb, she grabbed a tuft of fur and hopped on, careful not to pull too much. "I swear if you start bucking, i'm gonna feed you hay," she chuckled.

Chuckling as she said that she would feed him hay if he bucked her off. "I don't even know how to buck, Nao, so don't worry. I'm pretty sure that just horses that do that." Standing up slowly to make sure that she didn't fall over on his back, he sighed calmly as he was now straight. "Are you alright?" He asked her, not wanting to walk forward if she felt like she was going to fall over. He could barely even feel him on her back, though there was a light tug on his fur where she was holding onto him. "I want to make sure that you won't fall off." Nao was the first person that he actually wanted on his back, as others had thought of him as a freak or something they could push him around.

She squirmed for a second there when he stood, suddenly thrown a little off balance but she held on. Honestly she had never rode any sort of animal before so this was an exciting experience. She had never been off her feet before and--Wow, it felt high and just a little scary. "Y-Yeah i'm okay. This is pretty cool," she chuckled. Well, there was a first time for everything. Now she actually had a cool story to tell anyone who was willing to listen. Or believe. It's not everyday that she got to talk to a giant wolf. Well, now she was going to be able to talk to him whenever she wanted to. Maybe not--

Something told her that he was pretty new to this as well. "Yup! I'm good," she reassured him before he started off. Not long into the walk, she was already getting comfortable and adjusted. "You know, i've never ridden a giant wolf before. Or talked to one," she put a finger to her lip, "Or made friends with one. That's like...a bunch of new things all in one day! You know, maybe leaving the village wasn't bad after all."
