Félix's suggestion again seemed to snowball through the room. The only reason it did not avalanche to success was one minor issue. A very minor one, as Félix noticed it. Claire was too important to spend tangling Eric around her finger. Briallen was too obvious, given her googly eyes for both Eric and Félix's sister.

However, the Knight of the Mind could cut down a problem like a knight could cut down a rebel serf. Félix elaborated, “Eric would talk up a tree if you gave it a short enough skirt. Though actual girls are better.” That only left a few worries – who to trust, and who would do it. Eric was handsome enough, Félix supposed. A willing participant wasn't a major issue.

“Sadly,” Félix admitted, “my own list of acquaintances is short. Does anyone have suggestions?”

Gabe felt a flood of relief when William let it go and made room for him. Gabe got up and sat down beside his boyfriend, well for now his princess. He rested his hand on William's knee, he hoped the boy would accept comfort rather than get angry at him again. He didn't think it was likely for the boy to get angry with him again, he was now too involved in strategy talk. His hand dropped from Bill's knee, to take his princess' hand.

Gabe didn't say very much at all for the next while. Though he did let out a few murmurs of agreement when August and Felix spoke. Their ideas were clever and Queen Ania's forces weren't likely to suspect them of doing something along these lines. They were most likely expecting much more obvious strategies.

"Recruiting more people is a good idea," Gabe agreed. He was secretly surprised they even had fifteen though, he hadn't expected there to be such a good turn out. But perhaps Ania had recruited even more, he had no idea.

August did not have time to feel bad for the outsider that was being chosen right now, his mind was far too busy trying to consider who would be perfect for the role. Cute and just a little too easy to manipulate would be perfect for the role, but he had not been all that social in his time on the island, and was in fact, rather surprised that he had accepted the invite to a council in the first place.

His eyes shifted over the gathering listlessly, his mind providing as much information as it recalled about each face. Perhaps the smaller numbers weren't a bad thing, and could potentially be used as an advantage. Leaning himself up against-- August quickly looked back to see exactly what he was leaning on — a lone chair, August folded his arms across his chest, his brow furrowing. Perhaps smaller numbers can work, though. If someone can manage to recruit say, five or so people, perhaps we can train them to provide false information. A double double agent, if you will. The queen won't be expecting much from a smaller army, but the bigger your ranks, the more defenses they'll have. You can't guard against what you can't see, though."

<div align=center>The whole scheme may perhaps be left down to William himself as Félix admitted the person that was to 'seduce' his brother might not even have to be female. Surely if they knew a pretty enough boy to fulfill that... William glanced himself in the mirror across from the bed, and a scowl crossed his face. The solution may or may not have been lounging gracefully on the bed in front of them all. Or does it? Did Eric know what he looked like? Bill didn't know. He supposed using himself as bait would be the final solution, if no others arose.

William wanted Carl out of the room. Every negative feeling in the room was drifting absently from that man, most likely without him even realizing it. Bill didn't trust him. Not at all. He moved his hand to remove the foil tiara on top of his head, folded it, and pushed it underneath Gabriel's pillow. Though there was perhaps only one person in the room that had a vague understanding of the purpose of that, said person seemed to have crawled up next to the princess to make an effort to get back into her good books again.

The boy instantly batted away Gabe's hand, bristling a little, turning his head and scowling at him, a wordless warning upon his features. These people didn't know of their relations, and they didn't need to, either. Gabriel was his Hand to them. They didn't know anything else. Idiot. He lashed out, mentally this time. You are my Hand. Nothing else. At least that was the cover up, wasn't it? Yes. It was. Gabriel knew that, William had already told him. Don't you dare forget that. He settled again a moment later, pulling his hand away from the older boy and settling them both in his lap. Only for your safety. Not mine.

The princess lifted an eyebrow as August spoke. The more he thought about it, the more he supposed the boy was right- or at least on to something. His brow furrowed ever so slightly. "False information." He murmured. "If the queen is lead to believe our forces are smaller than they really are..." A surprise attack from a huge force would be a fierce knock to someone that was expecting an enemy with a small, useless force. Perhaps that was the way to go. "New recruits can be forced into secrecy." He had a good idea how that might work, as well.</div>

As she quietly listened to the demands of her queen, she smiled in joy that she was put up so high on the queens list of people. She loved to boss people around when she had the chance, so doing this meant she got to do it without getting in trouble. It was perfect.

She laughed almost silently to herself and shook her head a bit to stop herself. This wasn't the time or place to be doing any of that. This was serious. They had to win, and Claire was a big part of that. "Yes your Highness, I would be honored to do that."

When Gabe saw William take off the little foil tiara he understood why. William was trying to see who in the room they were able to really trust and perhaps to see if anyone had any ideas they hadn't actually been willing to voice aloud.

Gabe frowned a little when William batted away his hand. He was confused as to what he had done wrong, at least until Bill began to talk to him mentally. He blinked at William, hurt appearing in his eyes. I'm only a Hand to you? Gabe asked, the words had stung and it had taken him a minute to remember that this was all part of the plan.

Gabe was pretty sure that at least a couple people in the room were aware that they were dating however. Then he remembered that William had told him about this before, they had to keep their relationship on the down low. Oh right, sorry I get you now, he apologised. I won't give anything more away. He shifted his position a little so it didn't look as intimate anymore.

"Should I assist Claire in finding any more recruits?" Gabe realised that he should probably make himself useful somehow, and maybe this was the way he could be of some help.

<div align=center>William glanced sideways to Gabriel for a moment and shook his head, frowning a little. He was done with all these people, the crowdedness of the room was beginning to give him a headache, and besides, he was sick of them all. At least they aren't useless. That was one thing, he supposed. They were all pretty useful, and rather easy to bend to his will. He flicked a strand of hair over his shoulder in a girlish way, and let his eyes scan everyone staring back at him. "Right. We're finished." He stated, matter-of-factly. "All of you get out, all of you." He waved a hand at those in front of him, frowning ever so slightly.

"Apart from you, Gabriel. You can stay." His gaze darted sideways to look at his Hand for a moment, a soft smile playing on his lips for just a second. "I have other uses for you, so you can stay here." He added, in a gentler tone. "Last one out please close the door, I don't want to get up to do it myself." He lounged backwards and propped his elbows up behind his head. He checked for a moment to watch everyone filter out of the room, leaving him alone there with Gabriel.
