This wouldn't be Logan's first visit to the art gallery. Not at all. He'd taken personal, school, and high society based trips here, his favorite by far being the personal. He appreciated art, and it was a nice place to escape. The quiet and elegance was enjoyable. He could be at peace, somewhere like this.
Summer was coming to a close, but it was still warm, and the garden outside the buildings continued to bloom for the time being. It would die away, come winter, so he lingered here and took it in while he could.
He pulled his school bag a little closer to himself and pushed the front doors open, slipping inside. It wasn't matched by his outfit today, a preppy, pastel look with a cardigan. Hardly very different than his uniform, but with more color than blue and gold. When indoors, he felt an ease settle into him with the white walls and charming features of the space surrounding him.
He checked his watch quickly. Ten am on the dot. Logan was always perfect with these matters. He made a beeline for Mr. Antoinette's office after that, knocking lightly on the door and standing up straight.
In that moment, his thoughts and plans bubbled up again, an excited rush. This was, of course, the only place that had garnered his interest properly for the internship program. Being comfortable in the gallery helped, as did the hope of his offering piano performances (as that was what would count towards training for his future career), but his real motivation was the owner. He left that part out in his application, as it was nothing less than questionable, outright dubious. Oh, yes. He fully intended to seduce the famed, and very beautiful, Julian Antoinette.
Logan was very nervous about this. If he failed, the consequences would be severe, and this wasn't someone so casual as a teacher that he could let take the fall. Antoinette was more respected than he was, by far. It wasn't as though Logan was of unconsenting age, but their roles here would make this suspicious, and it was possible his advances would be seen as unwelcome, as he was a mere student and was going to be playing employee.
Nonetheless. His direct interactions with Antoinette previously had been short. A brief greeting. He'd pined for him, however. He was ethereal. In his quiet, careful research efforts, Logan had discovered Antoinette was a vampire. This wasn't a secret, per se, but not flashed about in the public, either. It fit him. The man was everything a classic, memorable vampire should be, nothing like the other trash.
It was said that unicorn blood was a very delicious, desirable substance, promising grand things to some like mythical healing or to be potent ingredients in a witch's hands, a thick, fine, pure taste to it and shimmering quality. Logan imagined this would be immensely appealing to a vampire, irresistibly tempting. He wanted to be tasted, like that.
The fantasy was a maddeningly captivating one, for him. Now that his mind was more open to ideas like this, it consumed him. This was dangerous, but he wasn't afraid. He was growing into a predator in his own right, and would never get anywhere if he didn't push at all the boundaries and expand his experiences. He didn't intend to get in trouble. He intended to get exactly what he wanted.
