Mery nodded with a smile. "Of course. And it wasn't the first time I'd read it, either. I love reading, but I haven't read many books." She said. The last part was a little random, but she didn't care.

Mery thought for a second. "Um...Tom and Huck find Injun Joe dead, and then they find his treasure. And Huckleberry Finn gets adopted." She said. That was all she could remember of the ending.

Mery giggled. "Yeah, that's the one." She said. She leaned her head on his shoulder again.

Mery didn't say anything either. She simply closed her eyes and just sat there. After a few minutes, she opened her eyes. She suddenly was feeling very nauseaus and lightheaded. Before she could do anything, she rendered unconcious.

Once she opened her eyes and suddenly closed them again, Nicolas had a feeling something was really wrong. He blinked, and, upon noticing that she wasn't conscious, cursed under his breath. He scooped her up into his arms, quickly but gently, and started running toward the hospital wing. "Mery? Stay with me, alright?" he said, fearing that the worst would happen to her.

The young man skidded into the hospital wing, the door almost closing on him since he had had to push it with his back, plus he had been in such a hurry. He looked around, and not going to be patient at all, decided to yell for a nurse.

"SOMEBODY HELP!!" Nicolas nearly screamed, not really caring if he was being too loud for a hospital environment.

The nurse jumped up. "Is something the matter?" She asked the boy calmly. Well, of course it was evident that something was the matter, but it was sort of a habit for her to ask that. She looked at the girl. "What happened?"
