How coincidental.

Cordelia was surprised now that he wasn't dead yet, honestly. A rat infested house, drinking a lot, a father that was never home and was now dead, no friends, bad grades... how did this poor child deal with it all? She had to find a way to help him. Maybe Jira would look after him...

Whoa, that was a bad idea. Really bad idea. Although he was taking good care of Catherine... maybe Alexiel would. Or maybe both. Oh, well, she would ask them if no one else came to mind or no one better came along.

"Alright. But you know, drinking isn't really the answer," she told him. "It doesn't solve the problems. It only takes them away for a while and causes more pain... I can help you find other ways to deal with the sadness if you want me too."

So advice wasn't her best subject... but she wasn't going to back out now.

Soahc nodded... " I know...but I just need times when Im not thinking about the pain...I dont know of anything else..." He said looking away as he said it and writing the problem down again...

Ha, she knew that feeling. Strangely enough, though, she had never really resorted to alcohol.... what had she done to escape the pain? Oh... right... she had beaten up random men that crossed her on the street. Taking anger or sadness out on others wasn't wise, but maybe she could teach him to do it to objects. "Well, when I'm down, I just hurt people," Cordelia told him. "Though I wouldn't suggest that for you. Maybe you could rip up pillows or something? It might help."

He blinked looking around his room...there really was nothing he could rip up since his house was almost the only thing he had to keep him from catching a disease but it wasn't like it stopped very much.

Cordelia looked around as well. There really wasn't anything... but she would fix that eventually. "No pillows or anything. Well, let's see... you could always try ripping up the newspapers." She pointed to them with her index fingers. Those probably wouldn't really help, though, since it would be easy to tear them apart.

Soahc looked at it... "What do I sleep on then?" He said blinking not really knowing why she mentioned those since he couldn't do much else...

He saw an old clock on the wall that was run by batteries...12:30...and still he wasn't home...he knew why... "I guess my dad is working late." He said looking away and at the work before starting to do it again

He shook his head. "I want to keep going." He said working harder but he seemed to not be making any progress on the problem he began to get right...
