Once she saw the picture of his father, Cordelia's eyes widened. She stared at the photograph, breathless. The night before... oh, no... she had killed that guy. He had been drunk, she had been hungry... and... well... it was one less drunken man in the world. She hadn't really figured it would be a waste.

No.... I can't become as bad as Rayana... as heartless.... she thought to herself, slowly calming down. Soahc never had to find out. She could keep it from him. He was good at hiding her emotions, lying, and keeping things from others. Guilt? Yeah, that would get to her, but she would live. If worse came to worse, she would take care of the boy herself.

She turned back to him. "I'm just going outside for a moment," she said, exiting the house. She needed some air.

Soahc blinked when he saw her expressionless face at the picture and then just shrugged it off working on the problem while the pizza slowly became cold...not knowing what he did right in the first part but knowing he had to finish.

The twenty-year-old stepped outside and put her hands on her hips, looking down at the grass. Why do I always do this kind of crap... she thought to herself. She always did or said the wrong thing, and this time, she had definitely done the wrong thing. She had murdered the only care provider Soahc had, and since she was responsible for it, she had to find someone else that could care for him. Taking him in herself was what she wanted to do, but keeping track of Setsuna was hard enough. Plus, she doubted that he would want to live with the person that had killed his father, if and when he ever found out. Then all her care would have just been a lie.

No wonder no one had picked up where his father worked...

Cordelia sat down on the ground, just thinking. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths, trying to just calm down. Once she was calm again she could go inside and keep this from him. "You screwed up big time, Cord..." she whispered to herself, shaking her head. What was her problem?

After a moment, Cordelia let out a deep breath and walked back into the house. She wasn't feeling as guilty or as badly now, so she would easily be able to hide it. She looked at Soahc, but didn't see the tear, since she had come back in after that. "How's it going?" she asked, referring to the problems.

"Still nothing." He said hiding that he was sad well as light shown into his room revealing cabinets of beer and alcoholics however not once has it been reported of a drunk boy in the news so he secluded himself in smarts after he had gotten drunk to drown away his sorrows...he knew they were now seeable...and waited for her reaction. "I dont do it in the open...and I dont hurt anyone..." He said as they slowly became seeable.

Still nothing? Well, that was ok. He had gotten it a little bit earlier, and in her opinion, that was definitely a big improvement. However, once the alcohol was in sight, she stared at it. That... was his? "You... drink... that..." Cordelia's left eye twitched. "How often..."

Only seven and he was drinking. It reminded her of her little brother... and the thought of Sonlath made her mind drift for a moment to wonder if he was alright. She pushed it away, though, deciding she could find that out later. "And how often do you feel too sad..." Cordelia asked. Drinking any amount at his age was bad but if it was a lot... well, she would cross that bridge when she got to it.

"A lot." It happened after school since he couldn't do anything right definetly after tests...hearing kids outside he could not be friends with since they would not accept him...just getting home from his dad coming home late or hurting him...he was definetly a wreck
