Cordelia sighed. "Please? You're the only one I know who's responsible enough to look after a kid," she said to him. She hadn't decided yet whether that was pathetic or not, seeing as Jira was... well, Jira, and one wouldn't expect him to know how to do that. "And I can't do it just because. So please do it?"
At the sound of voices, Alexiel's eyes opened. She wasn't a very heavy sleeper, unlike the seven-year-old. She got out of bed and walked to the door, not saying anything when she saw Cordelia.
The woman blinked and looked to Alexiel. "She lives here too now?"
