"I dont have a lot of time before that quizz though...I would rather just keep working..." He said yawning as he did so...he did want to sleep but he wouldn't allow himself when he finally made progress

Cordelia sighed, rubbing her forehead. Children! "Fine. Just a few more minutes and it's off to bed, ok?" Once he was asleep, she was going to take him to Jira's. Her fledgling was the only one who she knew could take care of the kid, and oddly enough, she actually trusted him to take care of Soahc. Besides, having Catherine as a 'sibling' might make him more social.

Cordelia smiled slightly when she saw that he had fallen asleep at the desk. Hopefully she wouldn't accidentally wake him up now. She slowly slipped her arms around him and picked the child up, being careful all the while not to jerk him around or do anything that may make him open his eyes.

She headed out the door and started walking toward the apartment building Jira lived in. Once there, she walked to his room and knocked on the door with her elbow, still making sure to be quiet. "Jira?" she called in a loud whisper from outside the door.

Cordelia sighed. "Please? You're the only one I know who's responsible enough to look after a kid," she said to him. She hadn't decided yet whether that was pathetic or not, seeing as Jira was... well, Jira, and one wouldn't expect him to know how to do that. "And I can't do it just because. So please do it?"

At the sound of voices, Alexiel's eyes opened. She wasn't a very heavy sleeper, unlike the seven-year-old. She got out of bed and walked to the door, not saying anything when she saw Cordelia.

The woman blinked and looked to Alexiel. "She lives here too now?"

Alexiel grabbed her fan and brought it right down on Jira's head. "You will NOT be corrupting this child!" she hissed. "You should listen to your elders and do what they ask of you! You didn't corrupt Catherine or myself, and you won't do it with this boy."

She put her fan away and took Soahc from Cordelia's arms. "And yes, I'm living here now." With that, she looked around, then back to Jira. "We're going to need more furniture."

Cordelia sighed. "Thank goodness SOMEONE here is responsible..." she muttered under her breath.

"Ow." Was his only response as he just brushed it away and walked away seeing how Alex was going to take care of it all since he wouldn't he would let the kid live as he liked and not help him.
