How coincidental.

Cordelia bit her lip. This was turning out to difficult to handle indeed. "Ok," she said. She had to remain patient, she had to; yelling or losing her temper wouldn't help, especially when he just didn't understand. "What is it, specifically, that you don't understand?" she asked. Hopefully he actually did have something specific, otherwise this was going to be a long day.

He looked away from her... "I dont know...,maybe we should just stop...I mean we haven't made any progress have we?" He asked not wanting to but really he didn't want to try the woman's patience

"For now we haven't," she told him. "But later you might." The woman paused for a moment. "Alright. You take a break and get something to eat, ok?" It would be rude for her to get him something herself... at least, that's what she figured. It was his house, after all, she couldn't just snoop around and the like.

Cordelia blinked. Heh... well it looked like she would probably have to snoop around this place anyway, or at least order something so the kid wouldn't starve to death. How ever did he manage to live like that? "Alright, well, since you mentioned before that your dad gets home really late," she began, "I could order a pizza or something for you. Sorry, but, I can't really cook."

Why was she a mother...

He looked down and shook his head. "I dont have the money to pay you back." He said looking at her and then down opening a small drawer which only had about 4$ in it which was all of his life savings from money on the ground.

Cordelia's heart literally broke into many tiny pieces when she saw just how little money he had. She hadn't had much when she was four, but really, why was he even worrying about paying her back? He was a child, he should have been out playing, but instead... oh, gosh, this was just too much. Thank goodness she was tough or she would have broken down into sobs.

"Don't worry, Soahc," she told him. "You don't need to pay me back, I would never expect you to do that. I don't expect it from anyone, and you shouldn't worry about money at your age. I'll order you something, you shouldn't go so long without eating."

And with that, the woman took out her cell phone and started dialing, not going to let him say he wouldn't eat. She would force it down his throat if she had to.

He blinked...why was she being so kind to someone so poor...infact the house was only one story and only had about 3 rooms...it was more an apartment that had no electricity nor water in that fact...nor heat or any luxury...of any kind...if she now decided to look around his room she would only see newspapers as a bed an old shoe box as his trashcan and a closet which would be the only real thing there...he would actually hide from his father when he first got home for fear he was drunk in there...

He didn't really know what to say but only nodded desperate for some kind of food before having to feat to get it...he was happy she didn't know about the case about his dad quite yet...
