Cordelia nodded. When he returned with the papers, she slowly looked through them, looking at all the grades. How could his father never see these? It was idiotic. She would have to go over this with the man as well as with Soahc.

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again," she told him. Wow, for once, she was being optimistic. What a shocker. "You tried hard here and I'm proud of you. But let's review what you got wrong and why it was wrong, ok? That should help you."

"You have to review, review, review," Cordelia said to him. Wow, she was being patient and understanding. Yet another shocker! "Looking over it once, twice... it won't help you. So let's go over it as much as we can right now, alright? If you practice enough, it'll stick in your brain eventually."

She folded her arms over her chest. "Don't make me force you," Cordelia said. With vampire speed, strength, fangs... she had all she needed to force him. "Come on. We're gonna keep trying until you get it. Giving up, saying no... it's NO LONGER an option, got it?"

Cordelia sighed. She grabbed a piece of paper and started writing down problems, trying to write as neatly as she could. Stupid messy handwriting. She used most of the same ones that had been on the old papers he had failed, just changing the wording around and such.

"Do these," she said to him, holding the paper to him. She had to see what he really needed help with, or if the fact that it was 'too hard' was the actual problem.

Cordelia looked at the answers. Well, they were wrong, but she was going to explain why they weren't right. Maybe that would help him. She explained the first problem in detail, hoping she hadn't made that too confusing. "Do you understand it?" she asked him.
