How coincidental.

Catherine entered the building after him, sad that he hadn't given her his name. But, it was alright; she didn't need it, and she was sure she would find it out eventually. She then looked around, feeling rather small inside this place. There were a lot of people and this place was big... but she did her best not to feel intimidated.

If the little girl had known about how people treated him, she definitely would have put a stop to it. People picking on each other wasn't nice!

She walked into the classroom she was supposed to go to and took a seat toward the front of the room, looking down at the wooden desk.

Soahc sat at a far desk away from her practically unseeable because of the huge mass of people at the moment soon enough though a few started leaving since the classes had to be let in.

A group of girls entered the classroom before class began. They were whispering things to each other, and eventually all of them looked at Soahc and laughed. It didn't take a genius to realize that they had been talking about him.

They took their seats, which just so conveniently happened to be next to and behind Catherine.

The teacher entered the classroom and sat at her desk, beginning to take attendance. She blinked when she saw Catherine, but then smiled. "So you're the new student."

The seven-year-old nodded her head. "Yeah. I'm Catherine."

"Last name?"

She blinked. "I don't have a last name."

The teacher didn't seem very pleased to hear that, but added her name to her student list anyway. She would have to talk to her parents or guardian about whether or not she really had a last name.

The group of girls all looked to each other when they heard that. So Catherine was the new student... it seemed they would have to try and make her join them.

Soahc seemed to just ignore them not really caring he was hurting inside but he hid just so vibrantly well that no one could tell. He looked away from them since it was the only real sign of him not wanting them to do it again

One of the girls let out another, rather loud, laugh when Soahc looked away. She whispered something a friend of hers, then poked Catherine, telling her something about the boy that they were all apparently finding funny.

The seven-year-old didn't find it as hilarious, though. "Um... right..." was all she said before turning around. She didn't want to make any enemies on her first day, otherwise she would have really said what she thought.

"Settle down..." the teacher said, eyeing Catherine and the other girls. She then stood up and gave the new student a math workbook. "Alright. Everyone turn to page 56."

Catherine did so and smiled when she saw what it was. Reading was hard for her, but she found mathematics ridiculously easy. She started doing the work without even having to be given instructions, glad that Tiger had taught her this before.

Soahc brought his own book. It looked ripped torn something spilled on it but turned to the page and started writing though he looked like he was having a lot of trouble even with the basic things in the book. He sighed almost inaudibly as he ended up finishing first...but he doubted any answer was right.

Catherine wound up finishing about a few seconds later than Soahc did. The teacher blinked when she saw that they were the only ones done but smiled. "Well, since you two are the only ones done, exchange answers to see if you got the same thing," she said.

The little girl nodded, though she wasn't entirely sure if that was a good idea. After this morning, she didn't know if he would want to talk to her. Even so, she stood up and walked over to his desk, sitting down next to him. "Hi again," she said.

The group laughed again. "Poor her," one whispered to the other. Catherine heard that and blinked, looking at them. She didn't understand why they were being so mean... but she didn't say anything, not wanting to be the one being made fun of.

Soahc looked at her then away practically throwing his book at her desk it landed and looked more like he handed it to her so the teacher and the class wouldn't notice...she would though since he let go a few meters before the desk. He knew he was completely wrong and wasn't going to bother talking to her about it he didn't even ask for her paper since he had the feeling she was probably right anyway.

Catherine frowned when he threw the book at her. She grabbed her pencil and compared answers, sighing inwardly when she saw that all of his were all different than hers. "Um... do you understand how to do this?" she asked him quietly. She would be more than willing to help him if he didn't.

The girls started doing their work, but a few other kids in the class turned to stare at Catherine and Soahc. "They're cute together," someone whispered.

Catherine's eye twitched. "Shut up," she said, her patience beginning to wane.

The teacher gave the class a look, showing that she wasn't pleased at all with their behavior.

He just glared at her and kept ignoring the awkward comments meaning he didn't want her help as he laid his head down on the desk showing he didn't care whether he failed or passed out of this class.
