The seriousness of their conversation was mitigated by the fact that Mansmasher3000 had gotten condiments all along the corner of her mouth. Shay couldn't help but giggle when she saw that. "No, I don't think I would. Changing my name would feel weird to me. I've always been Shay, you know? I feel like a Shay."

She took a second to eat more of her meal, savoring the taste and the warmth it brought to her stomach. Eating after a run was the best, though Shay couldn't help but wonder if maybe she should have eaten something healthier.

After swallowing, she went, "I think Eroshay was supposed to mean something. But I can't remember what. It's a little silly and sounds like something someone would give their character in a book (kek), but I like it. Besides, I could be nicknamed Ero." Here she grinned. "Like Green Arrow."

"I'm glad then, I think that Eroshay and Shay suit you really well." She smiled as she took another bite, dirtying her face even more with the contents. "Be a unique you!" She finished with before she felt a heaviness on her face. She blushed heavily, wiping it all off with the back of her hand. Mansmasher3000 hoped that it hadn't been top bad to stare at.

She wiped her hands together, before reaching into her bag and grabbing two small packaged wet wipes. She placed one in front of Shay, as she didn't want the girl to have dirty hands. "Here you go!" She said as she opened hers up, wiping her face and hands thoroughly. "Maybe it is.. I don't know many movies." She nodded. "My dad mostly taught me about planes."

Shay grinned, taking the wet wipe and cleaning her hands and face once she had quietly finished her hot dog. Hunger sated and a new friend made, Shay thought today wasn't that bad. She didn't say anything for a long time, enjoying the silent company and the sights of the city.

"Well, it was nice to meet you Mansmasher, but I think I gotta head home." Back to the orphanage. To books. She was hesitant to stand.

There was a long pause of silence; one that Mansmasher3000 wasn't sure would end. She gazed aimlessly behind her new friend, lost in deep things about things that most fourteen year olds wouldn't. What she would do when she got older, if she'd ever marry, maybe she would stay on this island forever. She had no reason to worry about such things, yet she couldn't help it.

When Shay finally talked, her gaze was cut and focused on her. "Back to the orphanage?" The thought made her said, as she didn't want the only real friend she had made to leave and to be all alone again. She stood, even before her friend did. She picked up her bag and walked over to the girl, careful to not get too close. Mansmasher3000 knew that she wouldn't be able to hug the girl, sadly. Instead, she bowed elegantly to the side of her, hoping that would be enough. "I hope that you have a safe trip home!" She nodded deep into her bow, before she shot up. "I hope that we can meet again Eroshay!" She flashed the girl a bright smile.

Shay was nervous at first as 3000 approached her. She was stiff, prepared for an unwelcome hug and more undesirable visions. When neither of those things came, Shay smiled in relief and bowed her head a little at 3000. "Maybe give me your number or something, if you have one. A dorm number? Something so I can find you You know where I live." Shay hoped 3000 had something to write on just then, because she didn't.

After the bow was over, she was surprised to see such an innocent smile across Shay's face. It made Mansmasher3000 feel special inside, like her acts had been what her friend wanted.

"I don't have a phone, as I don't have any way to pay for it." She giggled nervously, as she found it embarrassing that she was so out of the loop. "T-Though my form number is C25. It's the third hallway form the administration." She nodded and took a step back. "Hopefully we could maybe eat together at lunch or something, who knows!" The thought excited her, as many of the people in her class disliked her.
