"So like a nurse?" Shay asked when 3000 had said her final suggestion. Nurses and doctors are heroes, but you could also be like that ice guy from the Incredibles. He was awesome. Remember him? He did all that cool ice manipulation stuff, and he could slide across the water and create ice walls. That sounds like you."
"A nurse?" The thought intrigued her, as he did like helping people and she wasn't phased by blood or body parts. "I may just have the consider that." She smiled gleefully and did a small twirl. It wasn't exactly what she had seen herself doing, but it was exciting to know that she could be a super hero through that.
"Yes! That sounds fun!" She bounced up and down, then struck a few fateful poses that could resemble the character. She shot a bit of ice out of her left hand, making a loud 'bam' sound in the process. "I could be both!"

"What does it feel like when you do that?" she asked after a few choice scenarios flashed through her head. She stood up and stretched, somewhat nervous by all of 3000's jumping around.
"Want to get something to eat while we talk?" Shay hadn't felt it before, but the longer she relaxed, the more hungry she became. Running did that to a person. She wanted to sink her teeth into something meaty. Like a burger.
"O-Oh um." Mansmasher3000 had to consider that for a moment. "Well I guess it feels like you're throwing a handful of confetti out? But the confetti is inside your hand." That was the best she could do, trying to explain something so bizarre to a girl that had no idea. "Or if you have your hand really clenched up and tight and then BAM it just explodes as you let your hand relax!" Her furious nodding stopped when Eroshay asked if she wanted to get something to eat.
Her pockets were somewhat empty, as she was still too young for most people to hire her, as well as living alone in a dorm with little to no aid for the past few years had taken a toll on her. "I would really like that yes!" She exclaimed excitedly, as she reached for the girls hand, before pulling it back. "I forgot about your, power. Sorry." She thought for a moment. "Do you want me to tie something together so we don't get lost? Or are you okay with just walking beside me?"

Shay was relieved when Mansmasher3000 didn't end up grabbing her hand. She didn't think she'd have been fast enough that time to avoid physical contact. She watched the other girl for a second, though she wasn't at all considering the silly sounding offering. She wasn't a kindergartner, she doubted either would get lost if they weren't touching.
"I can walk by your side, and you can lead us to where you'd like to eat, how about that? Just nothing too expensive, I don't have a lot of money." Shay hated admitting that, it felt like a weak point, but she didn't want to get caught in a situation, either.
"I mean when you touch the ice again, yes it does feel really cold. Like once I've shot it out that is. Like an ice spear." She had forgotten the right word, but it sounded close enough that she didn't bother to ask what the proper word was. "Or maybe I just don't notice it as much? That could be a bit of it." It had been a long time since she had first discovered her powers, so it wasn't out of the question that she had forgotten the chill.
"Walking it is." She giggled as if it was some weird joke. She reached back and grabbed her bag, as she knew that she wouldn't remember it once they started a good conversation. "I don't have a lot either, so this will work out pretty well." There were a lot of little street vendors that would be able to suit their low budget. "Do you live in the dorms?" The question rolled off her tongue before she could even think as to why she wanted to know.

"No, I live at the orphanage." It was a statement of fact rather than one of emotion. Shay imagined living at the dorm was almost the same as living at the orphanage, just more strict.
Shay stopped at a cart selling hot dogs, which seemed like an all-around good food. She hoped 3000 liked hot dogs. "We don't have to eat from this stall if you don't want, I just couldn't think of anything else." Before Shay ordered, she waited to see if 3000 would be okay with her selection.
"Oooooh." It was like hearing an explanation to a really confusing plot line. For some reason, it made sense to her. It was sad yes, but at the same time, it gave Mansmasher3000 a ting of jealousy. Now that she was here, she didn't have parents to look after her. For some reason, she felt as if an orphanage would feel, homey.
"Well if you ever feel like you need to get away, you can always one to see me." She offered, though their friendship wasn't even in the right place to be asking Eroshay such things. "N-Not to sound weird or anything, I just know how it can be." She turned crimson and looked away from the girl, before she smelt hot dogs.
Mansmasher3000 shot her head up like a bullet as they lingered over to the stand. She heard Shay order, to which she fumbled through her bag, to her wallet to check her money. Not a lot. "I like hot dogs a lot, they smell good." She smiled brightly as she too ordered. "I put everything on mine, as even if I don;t like the taste of it, my daddy always said that my tastes would change one day and that I would love something that I once really didn't."
