"I'm so happy,"

Enelya spun around with Allen, her legs slightly bent. She laughed and held onto him tightly. She was so glad to hear those words. The pang in her stomach had disappeared, and her heart stopped fluttering... She felt more like melting now. So... It would be a solid staying in his arms melt. She wasn't sure how something like that worked, but that's how she felt!

"A little fall of rain could hardly hurt us now,"

She listened to his words, and as he rested his head on hers, she closed her eyes, and felt completely safe in his arms. The world could explode, but she wouldn't notice, or be afraid because she was being protected, and embraced by Allen.

Though when she opened her eyes, the two of them were surrounded by tons of flowers. Daisies, sunflowers, roses, tulips, lavander, and the smell of them wafted through the rainy air. Enelya blushed, and buried her face into Allen's shirt laughing. "Oops," she murmured.

"But we should probably get out of the rain anyway... I wouldn't want my beautiful Plant Lady to get sick."

Enelya turned an even deeper red as he called her beautiful, and laughed some more. She raised her head and kissed his cheek, and smiled brightly. "A little rain does nothing but cleanse the soul!" She said, laughing more, looking up at the sky with him, opening her mouth, letting the raindrops fall down her throat.

"One more adjective!"

Enelya laughed and nudged him a little. "Alright goofball. There's you another one. The Not so Every Day Goofball Tin Man!" She winked and stuck out her tongue. Beat that, she thought.

"Oops."

Allen smiled upon seeing all the flowers. Enelya's embarrassment only made him smile more and he shook his head. "It's beautiful," he said to her. He leaned down and gently plucked one of the roses, putting it behind Enelya's ear. "But not as pretty as you!" So that was a little bit cliche. Even so, it was true. He loved Enelya, and she would always be beautiful to him. Finally deciding on something, Allen leaned down slightly and kissed her, and his heart seemed to cease beating for a couple moments before he pulled away from her, silent and smiling softly.

"A little rain does nothing but cleanse the soul!"

An eyebrow raised. He had never heard that one, but since she was miss Mother Nature, he would believe her. He looked at her open mouth and did the same, catching the raindrops on his tongue. He laughed slightly at his own behavior, but he knew it was for the best. If he hadn't met Enelya, he would probably be picking on some kid right now instead of standing in the rain and holding her. "If you say so!" Allen said, turning his face down from the raindrops to look at her again. "Those raindrops are mighty tasty, I have to say."

"Alright goofball. There's you another one. The Not so Every Day Goofball Tin Man!"

He laughed. "Ha, ok," he said, having no problems with his new nickname. He thought about what he had named her previously and sighed... it didn't really have the same ring to it. "Ehh... your name is currently under renovation... it's not as good as the one you're giving me..." Allen bit his lip and pouted slightly at that fact.

Allen sat there, holding her, and complimenting her, and she nudged him a bit, laughing. She wasn't sure if she could take all of this in one day! From a Tin Man nonetheless! It was too much! Oh, the kindness suffocation from someone so...unexpected? Was that the right word? It didn’t really matter… he put a rose behind her ear, and she smiled. Though soon enough she found his lips pressed against hers. Her eyes became huge at one point in surprise, but after she understood what was happening, she smiled, and closed her eyes. He separated them, and she grinned. “My, you’re rather affectionate today.” She said, winking. Oh, payback was good.

"Those raindrops are mighty tasty, I have to say."

Enelya bursted into laughter, and nodded her head excitedly. “Yes, I suppose they are!” She laughed a bit more, at the thought that this immortal has been around for centuries, and has never tasted rain! What kind of a child didn’t go outside and stick his tongue out on a rainy day to enjoy the water falling into his mouth? Well, Enelya never did. She didn’t really have a “childhood.” Her life was kinda… Weird. But that was beside the point. She was in love with Allen, and quite frankly, her past didn’t matter much at this point. “You mean in all your years you’ve never tasted rain?”

"Ehh... your name is currently under renovation... it's not as good as the one you're giving me..."

He laughed, and she grinned, loving his smile while he laughed. She found those who didn’t smile, to have the prettiest smiles of all. They were hiding, and sneaky smiles… Waiting to come out and see the world. She joined in his laugh, and shrugged. “I like my name enough.” She said with a big smile.

“My, you’re rather affectionate today.”

Allen smirked when she said that. Alright, so maybe he deserved that. At least it was the truth. "Well you had your turn," he told her. "Now I get to have mine." He winked, so very glad that he had met her. Now he had a reason to stay on this island, for as long as Enelya was there, he would be too.

“You mean in all your years you’ve never tasted rain?”

He shrugged his shoulders, thinking. If he had, he didn't remember it. Esme had been a rather serious woman, and his childhood had been rather serious as well. Though he had had fun in his life... there just hadn't been much of it. "I've never really had a reason to..." Allen said quietly, looking up slightly again. His hair was still extremely poofy, and seemed to keep growing as more rain fell. "I've always hated rain..." The reason for that would be quite obvious.

“I like my name enough.”

The man snorted. "But your name for me is longer than mine is for you..." he said. "It doesn't matter if you like it. I still need to approve it." He stuck his tongue out, shaking his head afterward. He really needed to work on her nickname.

"Now I get to have mine."

Enelya laughed, and nudged Allen, a bit, and rubbed her nose playfully against his. An eskimo kiss! Enelya thought those were fun. She saw a new happiness in his eyes, and was excited by that. He always seemed to be carrying some sadness within his eyes.. But it seemed gone now.

"I've always hated rain..."

A big smile creased Enelya's face, and she tried smooshing Allen's hair with no luck. She giggled, and shrugged. It didn't matter much to her. Though, she remembered something. The sun always looked beautiful going down after a rain. "Why would you hate the rain. It's like the world is getting a giant bath..." She patted his hair again. "I like your silly hair, anyways."

"It doesn't matter if you like it. I still need to approve it."

Enelya rolled her eyes, and laughed. Until she remembered what she was going to say until she got side-tracked. "I want to show you something!" She exclaimed. Before Allen could protest, she hugged him tighter, and a big tree branch came down and wrapped itself around the two, bringing them onto standing on a branch. Enelya smiled, and let go of Allen, though she still had his arm, in case he lost his balance. "You okay? Follow me." She walked along the branches, and was sure to have vines strung along the side for the both of them to hold onto. Enelya didn't really need them, but Allen might.

Allen laughed softly as she rubbed her nose against his. Love, embraces, kisses... it hadn't happened in so very long. He was glad he had come to the islands... otherwise, he would still have that heart of stone that no one could penetrate. Even if his heart was still a bit cold, none of his anger or hatred would be released on Enelya. "I love you," he stated, rubbing his nose against hers in another Eskimo kiss.

"Why would you hate the rain. It's like the world is getting a giant bath..."

He pouted as she tried to smoosh his hair with no luck. He needed a different shampoo, post likely... one of those things that kept hair from doing this in the rain. He wondered if there was anything that could even help such extremely poofy hair. "Rain is wet," Allen said. "And the ground gets all muddy and my hair poofs out!" What was to like besides it being tastey?

"I like your silly hair, anyways."

The man rolled his eyes and flopped his tongue out in an 'I'm dead' sort of way. "My hair is a hassle," he said. "Do you know what it's like having to unpoofisize my hair, Enelya? It's not a pretty sight." Allen hated straightening his hair again... he had to wet it and use one of those straightening iron things.. and he usually wound up burning himself.

"I want to show you something!"

A nod was followed by the tree branch taking them up into the tree. Allen blinked slightly, not having expected that. He probably should have, though, considering this was Plant Lady he was with. He walked along the branch with her, inching his way after her as she guided him. Falling wasn't exactly the first thing on his to-do list.

"You okay? Follow me."

"Following," Allen stated simply, still inching after her. He didn't use the vines, believing that he didn't need them. It was just a branch he was walking on. A branch that could probably break at any time...

"I love you,"

Enelya grinned as he returned her eskimo kiss, and then gave her another one. She giggled, and kissed him on the cheek before patting him on the back slightly. She leaned into him and whispered it into his ear like it was a secret. "I love you too."

"And the ground gets all muddy and my hair poofs out!"

Enelya laughed, and then looked at him and how frustrated he was with his hair. She let out an 'awww,' and giggled. "Maybe I can mix some herbs up that will help. What do you say to that?" She tried smooshing his hair again and giggled some more. Sometimes it was nice having completely stick straight hair.

"Do you know what it's like having to unpoofisize my hair, Enelya? It's not a pretty sight."

Enelya took Allen's face in her hands and shook it slightly. "I think you need to stop worrying about your hair, silly." She patted his cheek, and laughed some more.

"Following,"

Walking along the branch, Enelya came to where the tree sort of ended. She twisted her hands around for a moment ,and there in the open she made a sort of net of branches for the two to lay on. She turned and smiled brightly. "The sky looks lovely after it rains! I thought we could watch the sun go down..." She said, excited to spend this lovely evening with Allen.

"Maybe I can mix some herbs up that will help. What do you say to that?"

Allen grinned. "And what kind of herbs are going to help my poor, unfortunate hair?" he asked. Plants probably weren't going to solve his poof problems. Then again, shampoos and conditioners probably had plant stuff in them (he really didn't know)... so maybe his Plant Lady could do something after all.

"I think you need to stop worrying about your hair, silly."

He pouted slightly when she told him not to worry about his hair. "But but but... it's my hair..." he said in a slightly childish voice. Allen liked his hair, though, even if it grew back extremely fast when he tried to cut it. That was just a downside to regeneration though, really. Oh well.

"The sky looks lovely after it rains! I thought we could watch the sun go down..."

Allen smiled softly as she said that and looked at the weave of new branches that she had created. "That would be lovely," he said. He took her hand and sat down on the branches, looking at the sky.

"And what kind of herbs are going to help my poor, unfortunate hair?"

Enelya thought for a moment. Surely there was something that helped poofy hair. Maybe some kind of plant oils or something... Enelya looked over to Allen and shrugged nonchalantly. "Well, I guess we'll have to give some stuff a few test drives." She was pretty sure about what would work and what wouldn't, but she knew Allen would probably freak out on the 'test drives'.

"But but but... it's my hair..."

She nodded, and smiled. "Don't worry, I'll fix it, Allen." She said in a comforting voice, to reassure him not all was lost with poofy hair. Some plant oils would definately help the frizz and poof... She thought to herself.

"That would be lovely,"

Enelya smiled, and she allowed Allen to take her hand, and bring her over to the net of branches. She sat down next to Allen, and leaned against him slightly, with her head slightly on his shoulder. The sun was slowly restracting back under the horizon, and the clouds seemed painted with beautifully warm colors. Enelya squeezed Allen's hand, and closed her eyes for a moment.

"Well, I guess we'll have to give some stuff a few test drives."

Test drives? Oh dear. Allen gulped and a slightly fearful look came to his brown eyes. "Are they going to be dangerous test drives?" he asked, his voice squeaking slightly. "I don't want my hair to turn orange or anything..." That would be horrible. He wouldn't be able to show his face in public if that happened! His beautiful black hair turning orange... that would just be hideous.

"Don't worry, I'll fix it, Allen."

"If you say so..." he said quietly. He would trust her with his hair. If worse came to worse, he could always just cut it all off and wait for it to grow back in a day or two. Hopefully it would still have its same shape at least, though.

As Enelya sat down and leaned of him with her head on his shoulder, Allen smiled, looking at her out of the corner of his eye. Eyes turned back to the sky, gazing at all the colors. Enelya had been right — the sun setting was pretty after it rained. She squeezed his hand and Allen looked back at her, returning the squeeze. He tilted his head so it rested slightly on hers. He wanted to say something, but that would have ruined the moment. Plus, everything he could have said, she already knew.
