@Thoth
Tisha grumbled as she sat on a chair in the Admissions office. Of course she needed to be sent to some magical school like Hogwarts in the middle of nowhere, because it turns out she basically had superpowers. They were overrated, anyways. Who needs any of those powers, when you have wit?

Seriously, why did it need to be her who gets the crappy card in the genetic lottery? Tisha hadn't done anything wrong, at least in her mind, and of course it turns out she has the ability to set things on fire. She continued to be sullen, sitting in her seat.

Tours were apparently offered here, and as she knew next to nothing about what the heck went on here, Tisha thought it would be good to go around and see the sights, basically. Besides, she hated being cooped up with her own thoughts for too long, and it would be nice to have someone to talk to, even if that person was just somebody whose job was to talk to people on the tours.

{td=colspan:2}One thing Gwenaël really cared about was being cool. And it just so happened that getting lost on a gigantic campus was pretty high on his list of dorky, uncool things to do. So when he'd heard they were offering tours, it was natural for him to try and join in one. Especially when the campus was already bigger than his hometown; he really felt a tour would be a most excellent idea not to end up in trouble later on.

After asking at the help desk how to get in one of these tours (he honestly felt a little like some sort of tourist right now, as the situation was similar to that one time his mom took him to Paris and they got on a tour boat and saw all the cool stuff in the capital city- though he suspected there would be no boats this time. A shame really.), he'd been told to just take a seat in the office and wait.

There was a girl there. He could do this without looking like the awkward mess he was- he could greet her without being totally uncool. Before the tour started. Actually she was probably here to join in that, or maybe she was the one giving them, he had no clues.

“Hello! I am Gwenaël. Nice to meet you!”

After a small pause as he tried to find his words somewhat and organise them so it made sense in English, he kept on with a smile.

“You are doing the tour too?”

That had gone well! Smooth and all, he'd said hi without sounding weird and even started some small-talk, so maybe they wouldn't be bored before the tour.

Ophion practically kicked the door down in his hurry to arrive, but he settled on pulling it open with a bit too much force, panting for breath.

"There - there was construction -" he panted out, holding at his stomach as he tried to remember how to breath properly. Normally he was early, but early was awfully hard to do with the school undergoing regular construction. Whatever route he might have been going down the day before might suddenly be taken over.

It took him a moment to recover himself, his voice still a bit breathy when he finally did manage to talk.

"You two - you're both - both here for the tour, right?" Alright, maybe not fully recovered. Maybe not recovered at all.

They both seemed about the same age though, which was nice. It would make his job a hell of a lot easier if he wasn't going to have to run over the highschool and the college stuff like his last tour. The less he had to cover the better, because it made things that much easier for people to remember.

@Thoth, @MapleMabari

Tisha continued to sit sullenly in her chair, and began to stare at the wall. She was literally watching paint dry, and o her, it was as soul-sucking as she had thought it was going to be. Seriously, was nobody going to come?

In that moment, Tisha saw a boy walk in to the room, and introduce himself to her. She thought that he kind of looked like a dork, but seemed nice enough. Anyways, Tisha was brand new to Starlight, and she probably coudn't afford to be picky with friends. So, she smiled at him. "Hi, Gwennaël! I'm Tisha."

He then asked whether she was doing a tour or not, and Tisha mentally rolled her eyes. He did realize that there wasn't all that much to do here aside from the tour, right? However, it was probably better to be nice, at least for now. "Yeah, I'm also doing the tour! Are you also a freshman?" She thought he was probably around the same age as her, but it wouldn't hurt to make sure.

Just then, Tisha heard the door to the office open once again, and saw a panting man stumble into the room. He asked if they were here for the tour, and Tisha nodded. She guessed that meant the tour guide was finally here, and the tour was going to start. Yay.

That was such a great name, Tisha; he'd never heard of it but it sounded wicked cool in his mind. Like it came out of something like high school musical, which was kind of old but also kind of nice to watch when he was all alone in his room and nobody was around to potentially make fun of him.

As he had no ideas of what a freshman was, he felt incredibly relieved when someone else walked in the room. That way he didn't get the time to stare at her with a blank look as he desperately tried to understand what she meant. The older guy probably would never have any idea of how grateful Gwenaël was for saving him from a potentially very awkward moment. Plus he actually understood every words out of his mouth, which was a big bonus.

When the guy, who's name he didn't catch (did he even introduce himself?), asked them if they were indeed here for the tour, giving him an odd feeling like he'd just gone through that a second before (which he kind of did actually), Gwenaël nodded.

“I'm Gwenaël, I'm here for the tour.”

He looked toward Tisha, wondering if he should introduce her too, but decided against it; it probably would be kind of rude, besides he barely knew her so it wasn't really his place. Turning back toward their guide, he remembered he actually had a lot of questions. Picking just one to start wasn't too hard though. He'd seen just a little of the campus so far and it already seemed huge to him, what with coming from a small village.

“How big is the school?”

He was more than ready to go explore by now, and kind of hoped his sort of childish excitement over discovering a new place didn't show on his face too much. He hadn't stopped smiling since the man had gotten in really.

Ophion was so used to weird names that he didn't even blink at Gwenael. Instead he offered his hand for a shake, introducing himself as well.

"I'm Ophion. I do tours. Sorry for the delay." At least his voice had recovered from the run, even if he felt like he'd rather lie down like a limp noodle than run around the school giving a tour.

Of course, he then got hit with the most painful question possible, and Ophion couldn't help but wince.

"That... is a very good question, and one I am not nearly qualified to answer. In quick terms, very big. The size of a town, I guess? The issue is that a good chunk of the school is magic, and tends to, ah... expand? On it's own? Like, when I was a freshmen we didn't have a dedicated stables, but now we do, and no one can tell me when exactly that was built."

It had essentially appeared overnight, which was not usual school behavior.

"Thankfully it's not too hard to get around, honestly. The schools pretty well labelled. Lots of signs, lots of people willing to point you around, and unless you're doing highschool and college classes in the same year, you should have most of your classes in the same building."

He took a moment to look them both over, considering.

"You two are both in highschool, right? Classes and dorms?"
