Human-loving mermaid, somewhat of a hippie in her specie's standards, lover of anything academical, past adventurer.

Margaret May
(Human, 22 ,pansexual but hard to pursue,Thermokinesis)
A lazy young woman who only seems to get somewhat passionate about food and cooking in general. She doesn't care much about things out of her own personal comfort and isn't talented with other people, though she doesn't hate them either and actually enjoys having friends, as long as they're not bothersome.

That can also be considered friends but… If people need feeding, she loves food and cooking so she'll definitely have leftovers/new recipes to test on them.
Flirts/Lovers
She's not actively looking for romance and may find it to be too troublesome, but I think it'd be pretty funny if someone tried to flirt with her as she wouldn't know how to react. She'd be the type who'd agree on dating people just so they stop asking her and then not show up to the actual dates.
People interested in her powers
She doesn't care about them, won't study them, and will probably never make any progress with them by herself ; if someone were to want to study her abilities, it'd probably make for funny interesting dynamics.
Roommate
She's the kind to want to save up on rent, and having someone to clean up behind her would please her so... If anyone is up to dealing with a lazy slob that feeds them, feel free! Be warned she will turn off the heating.

Gwenaël is new to the school and wants to make friends, both because he likes companionship and because he think having no friends is very much not cool- and he'd like to be somewhat cool.
Mentor/Teacher
Anyone who can explain to him why he's like he is and how to control it would be welcomed. Preferably someone a bit older he can look up to.
Stand-in mom
Gwenaël is 15, he's a grown up man who doesn't need anyone. Actually scratch that it's his first time away from home, he misses his mom, and he kind of just discovered he was some sort of freak of nature- he needs some sort of motherly presence. Or fatherly, just give him someone who's willing to give him a cup of hot chocolate and a hug when he gets too angsty.
Classmates
Anyone who's in his class and whom he may interact with- stuff like doing his homework with them or generally chat with, without it needing to be a deep bond. Can totally evolve into friendship though.
Other Sea nerds
Give him someone he can talk boats with. Someone who's willing to sneak out of school to go to the beach, someone who's fine with crawling on said beach to catch edible seashells, someone who's cool with waking up at 5AM to go fish shrimps- Just anyone who shares his odd passion for the sea.
Love interest
Because he's at that age where hormones are at work and girls suddenly look like strange, very interesting creatures. He didn't think about his sexuality much before so if played well he could turn out to be bisexual and get with a guy, though by default his main interest lays in women.
Less friendly people
While he's generally a nice little guy, it doesn't mean he gets along with just anyone. Since he's a little naive, he could be very easily manipulated into doing things he shouldn't- though he also tries to do nothing wrong, so there's limits as to how far he'll go.
In the same way, he's an angsty teenager, so some guy to have a rivalry with other things could be fun.
Also since he's pretty self-conscious, having someone who wants to bully him may be funny/interesting to see. Note that while he is pretty nice, he isn't really a pushover either and may retaliate if it goes too far for him to try and shrug it off.
