Soren moved through the school quickly, school was out for the day but he was off today, and didn't feel like going home, so he wandering through the halls.

He turned a corner and felt something bumped into him, it was a redheaded girl. "Damn I'm sorry," he offered his hand to help her up, "I should have been paying more attention."

Lucia hummed to herself as she wandered through the halls. School was out and she was on her way home. She wondered what she could do when she got there; she didn’t have any homework, so--

Lucia was snapped out of her thoughts when she collided with a hard surface, dropping to the ground with an Oomf! Her knees scraped against the floor and she winced. Slightly embarrassed, she tilted her head towards the sound of a voice. She looked up to see a face framed in a white halo, someone offering a hand to help her.

“Oh! I’m so sorry!” she said, taking his hand and scrambling to her feet. “I wasn’t paying attention, either. My name's Lucia. It's nice...running into you.

He smiled, "pleasure to meet you Lucia." Chuckling a bit at her pun, "guess my head was somewhere else."

He sighed a bit when he noticed her knee, it was bleeding a bit, "you got hurt because of me." He smiled a bit, "hold still," he crouched and gentely tapped her knew with his finger. The scrapped fadded, healing up completely, "there you go," he rose, a bit of blood seeping through the knee of his pants.

"So, what are you up to?" he asked ignoring the new scrape on his knee, "I'm not working today so I ended wandering the school."

She looked down to see red scuffs on her knee. Her eyebrows tilted upward for a moment, surprised that she didn’t notice the injury, but it was just a scratch. It would take only a few days to heal on its own.

The white-haired boy seemed to blame himself. Lucia waved her hands in the air, laughing, “No need to apologize! It’s not even your fault.” They were both off in La La Land, not bothering to pay attention to the real world. “If you maybe have a Band-Aid or something…” she began, watching him crouch in front of her. Before she could finish her sentence, he booped her knee, making the cut disappear like magic. It was magic.

“Woah…” she said in awe. Despite being constantly surrounded by fantastical beings, even small acts of magic still left her in wonder. “That’s...Thank you! That’s a really cool power,” she smiled.

“I was just heading back to my dorm,” Lucia replied. She was only semi-surprised when he mentioned working. A lot of students, herself included, made a profit somehow. For her, it was through whatever odd job came her way. “What kind of work do you do, by the way?”

He smiled back at her, and rose from her, crouch, she'd likely see the blood on his knee. "You're very welcome Lucia," despite the self destructive nature of his healing power he used it at every chance.

"Healing can be useful," he said with a smile, he tried to avoid telling people the consequence of him using his power.

"My name's Soren Haine, it's a pleasure to meet you," he readjusted the bag on his shoulder. "I deliver pizzas," he said with a chuckle, he did enjoy it, let him fly more often. "So if you ever order pizza, there's a good chance you'll see me."

Lucia nodded. “You might want to use it to fix your knee,” she said, pointing out a spot of blood blooming on his pants that she didn’t notice before. “Did I do that?” she wondered aloud, thinking it must have happened when they ran into each other. She grimaced. “Sorry again!”

“Lucia Allegri! It is certainly good to meet you, too!” the little redhead chirped with a curtsy. Her eyes lit up at the thought of pizza. “Mmm...pizza sounds good. Thick crust, extra cheese, and pineapple,” she mused, mouth watering, “That’s my favorite, so remember that when I order from you!”

“Hm. You said you’re not doing anything, right? Wanna get something to eat?” she asked. “Of course, it doesn’t necessarily have to be pizza.”

"Not your fault," he said with a grin, "my healing magic works a bit different than most, I absorb the injuries, I guess you could call it health exchange." He tried to take his power in stride when he could.

"Good to meet you Lucia," he chuckled a bit, "and I'll keep that in mind, make sure they get it right." He actually hadn't eaten today, "some food sounds good, got anything in particular you want? I mean, pizzas fine, I get a discount at the place I work at."

“Well, I mean, if you insist, Lucia said, already heading towards the nearest exit. She had no idea where they were heading, but she did know one thing--They were heading towards the pizza, and that meant today was going to be a good day. With promises of discounts in the air, she put her chin up, straightened her back, and marched onwards.

And then promptly stopped after about two feet because she still didn’t know where they were going. Slowly, she turned her head to look back at Soren. “...You can lead the way.”

Falling back to let him get ahead of her, Lucia asked, “So, do you use your powers often?” Healing was a good utility to have, but in Soren’s case, it sounded like it might cause more harm than good. What good was healing if it made someone else bear the same wounds?
