He melted into him like butter. His lips were soft, and soon his hands. He was happy, but he knew that his happiness would not last long. There was a dark news that he needed to break to Hayden. Oh what a poor baby. "That was you being a little closed off star. You can't get whatever you want you know." He gave him another gentle kiss on his neck before using his other hand to pull Hayden's hips closer to his own. "Listen honey..." He gulped, not wanting to make this more dramatic than it needed to be. "I'm super Polyamorus."

Hayden blushed and looked down again momentarily. Because damn who wouldn't be embarrassed by a outburst like that? It wasn't like he had any connection to feelings on a daily basis, if he didn't pleasantly drown them in alcohol he would surely walk until he couldn't feel them anymore. Still shameful though, geez.

The blonde stared at Cairo, trying his very hardest to think something and failing massively. He was quiet for a span, then stared earnestly at the other male. Something wasn't clicking. The words were alright, but-

"I honestly don't know what that word means" he said, looking confused and embarrassed. He honestly hadn't. To Hayden, if one was in a relationship there was only one relationship to be spoken of, and he had not heard differently. Mostly because he hadn't had time to ask his partners if they were in a relationship or not, being on the road and all. He had missed out on a lot prostituting himself out to audiences all over the world, learning about society being one of the things he had missed.

He looked so confused, like he had just heard a new word... That was the case here. "O-Oh." Did he really have to explain it to him? Had he never really understood that. "Okay um." With that, he pulled his hand so that they could go into his dorm room. Once the door closed and they sat on the couch together, he continued. "Polyamorous means that I have more than one partner. I love a lot of people for different reasons." Cairo nodded. "Even then, I have people that I want to be with." He nuzzled his head into Hayden's neck. "I love love, and I'm sorry if you can't handle that."

Hayden obediently was dragged along and sat. This was literally a new concept for him. He had never even considered relationships until he had realized he might want one. This was more complicated than he had anticipated. Why couldn't it be simple? Nothing ever was, that's why.

"So... you date several people at once? Like having a boyfriend and a girlfriend, or more?" he asked, trying to make a place for it in his mind. He had not know this existed. If he had, maybe he would have tried it. Oh wait. Hayden couldn't keep one solid relationship, much less several. "Are your partners date other people too?". This was too fascinating. Something at the back of his mind didn't like it, was jealous and angry that Cairo couldn't just be happy with him. Cairo would have been enough for Hayden. He silenced it, it was a selfish voice.

"Yeah I do. Or I can more so. I don't have to date multiple people just because I want to. They have to be right for me." It may have been complicated to understand, but Cairo was very picky on who he dated. Yeah he would kiss and fuck multiple people-as his job asked for- but there were only a select few that he wanted by his side. They had to have personality too. "Some of them yeah, but a lot of people are just okay with me an the fact that I am with other people. It doesn't mean that I love them any less." He sighed and leaned more on Hayden. "So... Are you okay with that?"

There was a silence. Thoughts flew through his head and Hayden was lost for a minute in exactly what the word meant. Being in love with multiple people, people that you cared for equally and loved equally. This... this was very similar to what he had wanted for himself. A way to eventually find true love, but with expressing his love for several people without hurt or jealously. A way to find an eventual permanent connection but to live as he wanted but didn't know how to say or feel. It was like having a chain wrapped around your heard broken and dropped.

"Yeah, I understand and that's no problem with me. I just honest to God didn't know what it meant. It makes a lot of sense" Hayden replied, leaning his side on Cairo's and smiling. "Sorry. In general" he laughed, kissing Cairo's cheek and trying to look at him without blushing because Jesus this was not a sexy day for him apparently. His eyes sparkled with understanding and a bit of shame but hey apparently he hadn't ruined shit and Cairo didn't just want a one-night stand.

Relief, that was what he felt. He gave out a loud sigh of happiness before tackling Hayden to the side. It was a big enough couch that they feel on it without any harm coming to them. This was cute. Cairo was happy that he understood. "Good, I'm really glad." With his arms wrapped around the boy, he just laid on top of him, holding him close. "By the way though, that shit was the sappiest thing ever. I mean it worked but... You're an attention hog."

Hayden covered his face as hey laid under Cairo and chuckled. "Christ, I know. I'm so bad at that shit" he said, recovering from all the crap that he had said and trying to mentally erase it. Then he moved his arms to lay lazily on Cairo's neck, one hand running through the strands of the black hair he admired. Why hadn't it been this easy emotionally with other people? It wasn't fair.

"So this is your place?" he asked, raising his eyebrows and looking around from where he was laying. It seemed nice. Hayden took all classes he needed to take online and with a great deal of reluctance, so he had never really been to college. It was kinda fascinating for him in a morbid kind of way, like seeing a dead body or something. Mostly because it was Cairo's and he couldn't actually believe that people went to college for as many years as they did.

"You really are." But even then, he kissed him, then again, and again. All being small kisses, he wanted to show how happy he was. Even though Cairo had a lot of other people he was seeing, none of them had serenaded him. After that, he put his head on his chest, closing his eyes and hearing his heartbeat; how romantic. "Yeah, this is my dorm. I share it with Neon, who is also my coworker. He's amazing in more ways than one really. Love the hair too." There was a pause before he asked Hayden anything. "But... What were you hoping to accomplish with all that dramatic shit?"

Hayden held Cairo's head to his chest and closed his eyes. Now if he could just stay exactly like this for a couple hours, that would be perfect. Maybe take a nap. By that time the mental chicks downstairs would have been removed and given restraining orders, making his life a little easier and his bodyguards a little more done with existence.

"I have no clue. I'm really new to relationship crap, I was winging the hell out of it" he said, bringing the hand resting on his neck to cover his eyes again and grin. He matched Cairo half way, meeting his kisses. The pop star was finally calming down after babbling a bunch of crap that had been a mess for him, an utter shame. At least he hadn't totally messed things up with a mashup of confused and raw feelings combined with stuff he had seen in movies (which he had actually started watching).
