Cordelia turned back around when she heard him punch the tree. She rolled her eyes, and shook her head, looking away from him again. "Silly little boy, has to take all of his anger out on trees..." she mumbled, more to herself than to him, but it was still most likely loud enough for him to hear. She didn't really care, though.

Axel glances up at her, "Silly sexist old woman, refuses to be nice to men and yet acts like on herself.." he mutters to himself, knowing that he heard her. He continues to walk painfully forward with his eyes dancing in and out of focus, Dang..I feel like I'm trying to look through wavy water..

"Silly sexist old woman, refuses to be nice to men and yet acts like on herself.."

Cordelia laughed in amusement, even though that statement had angered her somewhat. "First of all, I'm not old, kid," she said. "I'm only twenty. And second of all, I have my reasons for acting like a guy..." She then sighed, noticing he was having difficulty walking. "Do you need help?" she asked him, an annoyed tone in her voice.

Axel laughs at her painfully, "Whatever, the fact is your a hypocrite either way you look at it." He ignores her offer up help and continues to walk, choosing that he didn't really want her help. All she had done to him the whole time was be rude anyways and he wasn't in much of a mood to attempt to act kind.

Cordelia couldn't help but smirk somewhat. "A hyprocrite, yes, oh, well, can't be helped," she said. She knew that dressing like a man and yet hating them wasn't the only way in which she was a hypocrite, but she didn't bother telling him any of the other reasons. She sighed when he refused her help, and shook her head. "You're an idiot not to accept help, you know," she told him.

Axel glances at her quietly, his eyes blurred and making her difficult to see clearly. He sighs quietly and looks away, not sure whether or not to answer her. Truthfully, nobody had ever really tried to help him and he had assumed nobody ever would. He didn't accept her help not because he wanted to, but simply because he was unsure about if he wanted to let someone get close enough to help him. He sighs and looks at her, "Fine...help me then..." He says, knowing that she probably wouldn't now.

When he gave in, the faintest hint of a smile crossed her face. Cordelia went to where he was and put an arm across his shoulders, just to help him. Inside, she was dying to get away from this guy, since she hated men so much. However, the motherly part of her wanted to help him, even if he wasn't much younger than herself. "Alright, come on," she said quietly, beginning to walk slowly, making sure to keep an eye on him in case anything bad happened.

Axel's eyes close and he continues walking forward, a little less pain surging through his body, "Not to sound rude, but you seem bent on getting as far away from me as you can. Yet you still offer to help me, why? It's not like I've done anything for you except tick you off.." he says to her tiredly. This really confused him, he expected her to just leave him injured on the ground and bait for whatever big animal decided he would make a good lunch.

Cordelia frowned when he mentioned this. She sighed softly, knowing that she didn't trust him with the real answer to this question — she trusted no one with the answer to that question. The only way people ever found out was if they found her old research papers on necromancy, and so far, only Sonlath had been able to do so.

She decided to be honest with him. "I can't tell you why I care," she said. "I trust no one with that answer. It had to do with my past... and that's all you're getting for an answer. Just accept the help, no matter how much it confuses you."

Axel sighs and shakes his head, his care on the subject fading like the wind, "Whatever...I'm just not feeling so reassured at having a vampire who hates me so close..I might get a blade slid between my ribs.." he chuckles quietly and closes his eyes, a sharp jolt of pain causing him to cut his next breath short. "Ow.." he mutters quietly.
