Axel dodges out of the way just in time to avoid being flattened. The flames die down and he winces watching as it turns it's attention from him and towards Cordelia, "Stupid dog..." he mutters and dashes between the creatures hind legs and through its front. He then lunges up and kicks back and forth up the creatures legs, turning and slashing the beast across its neck, slicing it open.

Cordelia sighed upon seeing the cerberus lay down and start rolling around. She growled when she saw that amused look on its faces, and when it lunged at her with its mouths open, she barely got out of the way. She had been running so fast that it had been hard to stop, and she slid underneath the creature, and quickly got back up on her feet. Ok, that's it. I've gotta learn how to use these vampiric abilities better and SOON... she thought to herself.
Her eyes went to Axel, just watching him for a moment as he went to slit open the things throats. She then put all of her attention back on the three-headed dog, and readied her sword. She raised it quickly, attempting to stab the cerberus in its stomach.

The Cerberus had three heads making the slash a unfatal one. It jumped into the air enjoying this almost play like time even though these two were going to become it's meal. It wagged it's huge tail growling almost playfully still intending the two to become it's meal just after it had a little fun with them. It suddenly got a evil idea raising one of it's legs in the air. Typical trait of a dog marking something, it wasn't a nice thing for them if it was. It was simply faking so they'd run out from underneath it. It didn't have any intent on watering trees in this area.
The beast then sat down after it's fake and looked for Axel and Cordelia so it could toy with them with it's sharp claws. It picture the two as small eatible chew toys.

Axel stands behind the Cerberus and watches its tail flicker back and forth. Stupid beast.. he thinks to himself and places a hand on the large tail. Suddenly, large flames shoot up the tail to tis body and begin to scorch it. Knowing the beast will be pretty Ticked, he dashes off to the side, wondering what Cordelia's doing. He had been so preoccupied with killing the monster, he forgot he was fighting with a partner.
As soon as it lifted its leg, Cordelia rolled her eyes. Well, wasn't that beautiful. Of course, even if she didn't run out from under it now, she would have to later, since it was about to sit down. She got out from under it, again using her enhanced speed. She looked back at the cerberus, watching it as it sat down.
She stood back, a bored and annoyed look on her face. Axel seemed to be having fun, though. She didn't consider her vampiric abilities all that special, and even though she wished she was normal, she supposed having power over fire or something like the male had would be... well, more interesting. The Cerberus took it's tail and bit it with it's left head putting out the fire with it's tongue. It looked at the two with it's two other heads. It readied itself for attacking them. It looked at Axel and smirked deciding he was going to get bathed in foam so his fire wouldn't burn.

Painter lunges up into the air and lands on the head of the great dog. He takes his blades and plunges them down hard on its skull, burying them in to where they're like reigns for him to hold on to. He sighs, resting for a moment and trying to avoid getting hit with the foam, "You planning on doing something besides stand there?" he shouts out loud to Cordelia, seeing her just watch calmly.
Cordelia still continued to just stand there, merely watching. As the foam came out of the animal's mouth, she wondered if Axel would be able to get out of the way of that. The dog was trying to keep him from making fire... at least, that was what she thought. When Axel did, in fact, dodge all the foam, she shrugged her shoulders, still watching. She was ready to get out of the way if she had to, but for now, she was just going to stand there.
"You planning on doing something besides stand there?"
The woman smirked. "Eventually!" she shouted back. "I prefer beating up men to killing three-headed-dogs, thank you very much."

The cerberus looked at Axel then the girl, wondering if he'd do anything if it went after her. If a Cerberus ever smirked it did, it suddenly it yelped in pain as the swords bared down into it's skull this hurt like a migraine. The cerberus then continued it's 'smirk' and lunged at Cordelia with the same head that Axel was holding onto. It was curious what either would do if it just happened to roll over them somehow.
It liked this fun game and couldn't resist trying to end it for them. It had a mischevious idea if it could manage to get Axel off without a attack from Cordelia. Axel, who was hoping the Cerberus would do that the entire time, leaps up into the air landing on the head that bit at him. It then drove the blades into that skull and reigned in with them, "C'mon boy..don't tell me that's all you've got." he says with a laugh. He didn't concern himself with trying to help Cordelia, knowing she was fast enough to dodge it herself. "Maybe if you put as much effort into killing this dog as you did with killing men, it would be dead." He says smirking as he's tossed around on the beast's head.
