Cordelia sighed when the cerberus came at her. Well, it looked like she couldn't just stay out of this one. She jumped out of the way with her speed, though just barely, and ran about ten meters away. She wondered if it would be possible to tire the three-headed-dog out by making it run all over the place, but believed it would take a long time, seeing as how large it was. Oh, well, couldn't hurt to try, right?

"Maybe if you put as much effort into killing this dog as you did with killing men, it would be dead."

"I'll put in as much effort as I please, thank you very much," the vampire said. "Besides, killing off men is more fun."

The dog growled and thrashed it's head that Axel was on against a tree making sure he didn't more before he hit the tree. He was sick of Axel attacking for no reason and not killing only stabbing and annoying it in pain. He growled at Axel angry, he left Cordelia out because she was at least not as annoying as Axel. The dog stood still after thrashing it's head, it personally like Cordelia better now, mainly because she at least wasn't cruel and meaninglessly attacking.

Axel on the other hand was doing non-fatal attacks, though the two still we're working in sinc. The dog sat down an idea coming in it's head.

As Axel's body is slammed against the tree, the air escapes his lungs and he lies on the ground slumped over and gasping for air. He feels blood creeping into his mouth and spits it out onto the ground, the coppery flavor staining his taste buds. He looks up at the Cerberus quietly, awaiting it to make the finishing blow, "Little turd.." he mutters through the pain and ignites his body into flames. The way he figured it, if he was going to be eaten, he was going to burn like $$$$ on the way down.

Cordelia merely watched, wincing somewhat when Axel was thrown against the tree. That just had to be painful. In a way, she felt bad for just standing there, but, hey, at least that dog was ignoring her for the time being, right? The thought of escaping now crossed her mind, but she quickly dismissed it. If they had to get out of there, she would get both of them out of there.

She noticed Axel's body lighting up in flames, and gulped. If she got burned, then so be it, but she wasn't going to leave him to be eaten. She ran in super speed to where he was and grabbed his arm, pulling him to his feet and beginning to push herself to get out of there even faster. She ignored the pain of the fire burning her hand, knowing that she was probably going to regret risking getting burned later on.

The dog was amazed that the two ran, it kinda sat there in shock. Something else diverted it's attention though, a flock of sheep to be exact. It ran off thinking of lamp chops, the cerberus finding that Cordelia and Axel weren't worth eating because of the fight to try and get them. Sheep just baaed and ran around. The Cerberus ran off chasing the sheep.

Axel drops the flames seconds after being grabbed by Cordelia, watching the Cerberus head in the other direction, Meh..I suppose that is why this place is forbidden.. he thinks to himself as he is painfully dragged along by Cordelia. He looks upwards at her quietly, slight annoyance on his face, "So...why did we run away again? I had the turd distracted, you could have simply slit its throats.." He sighs and shakes his head.

As soon as the flames were gone, Cordelia let out a sigh of relief, even though her hand still burned somewhat. Her eyes narrowed at what he said next, and she stopped running. She wanted to answer him, plus, she figured they were far enough away and were safe. "Yeah, you know what, I also could have left when you were about to get eaten, now couldn't I have?" she hissed. "But I didn't. Be glad I decided to get you out of there, too."

With that, she started walking off, stuffing her hands into her pockets. "Little ungrateful kid..." she mumbled. Even though he most certainly wasn't a child anymore, she had a habit of calling people that were younger than her 'kid', and it couldn't be helped.

Axel glances at her quietly as she turns around, "Ehh...sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like that.." He shakes his head trying to think of a way to say it without sounding offensive, but failing miserably. "Thanks for saving my hide...I really appreciate it.." he finally says, unable to think of something else to say.

"Ehh...sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like that.."

Cordelia turned around, eyes narrowing a bit. She was confused by the fact that he had actually apologized to her, seeing as how she couldn't remember him saying that before. Not like she had known him for very long, but even so, it surprised her. "Whatever..." she muttered.

She blinked when he thanked her for saving him, and just stared at him for a while. "Um... uh... y-you're welcome... no problem..." she said quietly. It was weird for her to say that, and she sighed, shaking her head. She started walking back toward the school, having nothing more to say, and having nothing better to do than to go back there.

Axel continues to sit back against a tree painfully. God dang that crap hurt.. he mutters quietly. and watches as Cordelia walks away. Slowly he manages to find his way to his feet and walks in that direction himself. He was tired and sore..and ticked..incredibly ticked. He turned and punched the tree next to him, plowing a few inches inwards setting it aflame.
