The towers were her favorite place, that's what Elizabeth has decided after roaming around the school on her own and experiencing just a few days back what it felt like to be high up in the sky. The wind was amazingly strong and cool, and at the higher areas she was able to see almost the entire campus, and even the surrounding areas.

She was leaning dangerously close over the railing when she saw a group of animals by some trees in the distance. She's never seen such animals in person before, but she's read about them in books-- how their fur was made into pillows and clothes and their meat into fine cuisine-- and it was her first thought that she MUST get closer to them.

But first, she had to say this to another person who would surely be just as excited as her.

William was actually there in the towers with her. They've been spending some time together exploring their school, and that made it much easier for Elizabeth to tell him about the animals.

"William!" she called, running to him, "I saw a flock of adorable round animals by the trees over there--" she pointed to the woods to the left, "--and I want to get closer. Will you accompany me?"

William stared at the blue sky, watching as the puffy clouds lazily rolled by. They seemed to be entities of their own, completely oblivious to the people that admired them from below. Will liked that about them. They could move freely among the sky without a care in the world, and were very close to the Sun.

He was pulled from his reverie by a familiar voice, and turned around to see Elizabeth running towards him. A small smile appeared on his face. She had surely seen something exciting.

He thought briefly on what these adorable round animals might be. Nothing came to mind immediately, so he simply shrugged. "Sure," he said. "Do you want to take the quick way down, or the normal way?"

The normal way down was going to take up a lot of time considering they were in a really high place, and the faster way down was surely enticing. Elizabeth hummed in thought, and settled with an argument for herself that they'd lose the animals if they didn't hurry.

"Let's fly, William!" she answered. "They might not be staying for long, so we need to hurry and catch up to them."

She went closer to her friend and clung to him the way she did the first time. She was elated to know she can experience flying again; and apparently, she didn't have a fear of heights.

William was happy to know that Elizabeth was eager to fly again, even if it would only be briefly. For someone that had never experienced flying before, she had taken it quite well, which Will was glad for.

She latched onto him as she had done before, and he wrapped his arm around her waist. Once again, he focused his energy to the center of his back. After a few seconds, the wings began forming, and after a few more seconds, they had formed fully into their fiery, feathery glory.

Will took a step back from the railing and flapped his wings once, launching them both into the air. He allowed the air to get caught in his wings, and they began their decent, slowly but surely. Once Will's feet touched the ground, he allowed his wings to dissipate.

"Lead the way," he said.

Being in the air still made Elizabeth's heart rage with nervousness, but her hold on William was tight and his on her secure, and while their slow decent was almost synonymous to falling for her, she convinced herself she was safe, and managed to appreciate the feeling of wind around them...

Elizabeth quickly moved her legs to catch her dress between them.

They landed soon enough, and she sighed in relief as she removed herself from William and looked around to ascertain herself that nobody else was there.

She turned to the left and pointed at the pathway towards the trees. "It's this way."

She led them through the path. Soon enough they'd hear the sounds of the flock they were after-- gentle baa's and movement on grass-- which prompted Elizabeth to hurry with excitement.

She found a gap between thick bushes, and there ahead were the flock of sheep. Walking balls of wool with tiny feet. Elizabeth gasped.

But the flock heard her. All fluffy heads turned towards them before they suddenly began to run towards their direction, seemingly in panic. Elizabeth was frozen in place.

William followed closely on Elizabeth's heels, anticipation gnawing at his heart. She had seemed pretty excited to view the creatures up close, and even though there was a chance he had seen them before, her excitement was contagious.

Elizabeth led him along a path that led them to some trees. She peeked between some bushes, and Will took the same position.

He had definitely seen those animals before--of course, they were only pictures in books. Seeing them in person, and in such a large quantity, fascinated him greatly. He wanted to observe them more, but the gasp that Elizabeth released somehow reached the sheeps' ears.

The sheep turned to them and began running. Whether or not it was in anger or fear was beyond him, but the only thing that mattered was that Elizabeth wasn't moving, so he took initiative. "Hope you don't mind," he said, grabbing her by the waist once again. He then turned and took a few great leaps, and in a few seconds, they were resting on a tree branch.

"They didn't seem too happy," Will noted.

Elizabeth had frozen because she couldn't decide on time whether to catch the animals in her arm or dodge (which was supposed to be the more obvious choice) because, as William told her later on, they didn't seem too happy.

She stared at her friend after realizing they had jumped up a tree to steer clear of the large flock. She was digesting slowly the fact that she would have been injured terribly there if not for him. "Thank you," she said, before putting some respectful distance between them. It wasn't very easy to move on the tree branch. She's never climbed a tree before.

"They didn't, did they?" she said. Her eyes followed the trail of the intriguing animals, as she wondered if they ran far, if they scattered, if they stayed together, and if they were only nearby. She couldn't hear nor see them from where they were. "Do you think they were scared at us, William? It's such a shame, I wanted to try touching them..."

William thought about this for a few seconds. He had learned with a few encounters that animals tended to run away when frightened, so that couldn't have been it. Maybe they were just confused.... Will found that he, surely, was confused.

Nevertheless, he shook his head. "I don't really know what they were doing," he admitted, "but I don't think it would be wise to approach them again." He was going to add "I wanted to touch them, too," but decided against it in case it might hurt her feelings.

It was then that Will remembered the position they were in. "I assume you wanna get down, considering I brought you up here so suddenly."

As much as Elizabeth frowned at the idea, William was right that they must not endanger themselves by trying to approach those wild sheep again. While Elizabeth didn't know what they were, she knew their action was quite unnatural. She shrugged then nodded at William. "Yes, please. I'm barely keeping my balance."

Once back on the ground, Elizabeth would give William another warm "thank you". And then, she turned to the direction the sheep headed, reluctantly taking steps forward and then turning around to to back. She gave William uncertain and embarrassed glances, as their attempt to amuse themselves had just failed. "Does this mean we have to go back?" she asked him. What she really wanted to know was if they could stalk the flock secretly or not, but she realized it might be just as bad an idea.

"We could look for other animals too..." she suggested suddenly.

William watched Elizabeth's hesitance, and he himself experienced some hesitance, to a much lesser extent. He certainly wanted to get closer to the animals, but they obviously didn't seem to like that. At this point, going back to the tower was the last thing on his mind.

William simply nodded when Elizabeth suggested looking for other animals. "We could do that," he said. "Those fluffy looking animals have piqued my interest. I think I'll need something else to substitute them for a while."

He turned to look at the girl. "Is there anything in particular you want to look for?"
