"A mystery, huh..." Carmin didn't like the idea of so many things being in the dark, but he did feel reassured that Gabe wasn't going to feed him white lies to make him feel better.
Carmin crossed his arms and held his legs tightly together, sitting uncomfortably on the chair as Gabe got to work with giving him a hair cut. He could hear the leaves being trimmed, but couldn't feel anything that was happening. Without a mirror he probably wasn't going to be able to tell what it looked like. It stopped after a short while, but Carmin kept still until Gabe officially said he'd finished cutting them.
Carmin's hands went to the back of his head, out of instinct, but he couldn't actually feel it to tell the difference. He then got up to try and get a look at the leaves that had been cut, to little luck due to the size of the counter. "Okay, I'll just, uh, I'll watch."
He then proceeded to go back to the stool, attempting to lift it up but quickly settling on sliding it. Once it was next to the counter, he climbed up and stood on top, allowing him to see everything well. It was a little bit embarrassing, having to stand on a dumb stool, but he was willing to put up with it for now.
The planty boy would make a puzzled face at the mention of friendship. Were they friends now? When did that happen? Carmin wasn't really sure what to make of that, he didn't need anymore friends. He already had like two, which was already way too many for a lone wolf like himself. But at the same time, it made him feel just a little giddy to know that Gabe thought they were friends. Which they weren't of course, Carmin would clarify in his head. He didn't add anything to what Gabe had said, instead just staring off into space while those thoughts ran through his mind. He'd eventually look over at Gabe and blush a little before quickly turning his head to the laptop instead.
