Finished Flowers and Powers

Carmin tensed up as Gabe started checking his hair for fungus. He couldn't actually feel any of it and was only able to go off of the sounds of rustling leaves, but the situation still had him feeling rather uncomfortable. Even after the rustling stopped, Carmin remained still in case he would start again. But instead he was pleasantly met with Gabe's announcement that there didn't seem to be any spots in bad places. With that, Carmin let out a relieved sigh.

Carmin was definitely fine with doing things that weren't expensive. As of now, he didn't have a whole lot of money that he could spend. Without a job or any chance to reconnect with his parents, he basically just lived off of what the school provided him. "Yeah..."

Carmin would hesitate after seeing Gabe offer his hand. He didn't like accepting help, but this was small and actually pretty useful given how uncoordinated his lack of of a sense of touch had made him. So, he gripped Gabe's hand as he descended the stool. Sticking the landing with no trouble.

"Thank you, for the fungus killing stuff and for helping me..." Carmin grasped the bottle tightly with one hand, making sure not to drop it. "I appreciate it."

"Umm, so how much do I owe you for this anyway?" Carmin would give the spray bottle a light shake.

Carmin wasn't sure how to respond when he was told the bottle would be free. He really didn't like taking handouts, especially from someone who just said they were trying to save money. But then again, he was running pretty low on funds himself. Enough so that he reluctantly agreed to take the bottle. "Oh. Thanks then." He awkwardly rubbed the side of his arm as he thanked the guy. He wasn't really good at that sort of thing and it showed.

He noted Gabe using the friend word again, but wasn't exactly sure how to feel about it. Sure, he was going to have that whole lone wolf thing going on, but Gabe had been really kind. Perhaps it was alright to have just one more friend. Besides, he was getting bored a lot lately. If Gabe wanted to hang out or something to then it'd probably help him pass the time.

Carmin's eyes watched the flowers as they bloomed, surely as a result of Gabe's abilities. Then he turned back to him as he invited Carmin back. As far as Carmin was concerned, there was no way he had any actual powers. His current state was the result of a curse. It would be pretty backwards if the witch had actually given him powers of some sort. Regardless, he accepted the offer. "Sure, I'll see you around then." Then Carmin waved and headed out to go back home. As impossible as it sounded, he couldn't help but think about his potential to have some sort of power while walking home. He was almost positive he didn't, but he wanted to.
