Nat closed the laptop as Viviane took a drink, sliding it back into her bag next to her feet.

"Nothing important enough to bring up here, at the very least. Naturally, as we agreed, you'll be the first to know if I get something new. And speaking of our agreement..."

She casually reached into her pocket and procured a small business card, flicking it across the table to land in front of Viviane, her number and contact details written on the front.

"Once you're out there busting crime rings and rubbing it in the police chiefs face, I'm sure I can expect to hear from you?" She gave a sly smile as she spoke.

Nat stayed seated, her drink wasn't finished and she still wanted to take her time after all. Instead, she simply raised her cup, as if in toast.

"You as well, detective. I think we've both got plenty to look forward too."

She raised her cup to her lips. Despite her cool demeanour, the way her eyes almost spark as they look over the rim betray just how eager she is. Hopefully, the coming weeks were going to be very interesting.
