Ivy clambered up to the door peaking her large head through the doorway before sitting down right outside of it. In her current black bear form there wasn't even a chance she could make it through the door. " Well shoot, I didn't exactly think this through. "

A little streak of purple glinted in her ear as she glanced at the other people in the room. " Any preferences?" she asked in their general direction not really caring who answered or if they understood what she was asking. Her green eyes searched the room happy to find only a few people were in the room so far. She hadn't let anyone get to know her too much and so far it suited her.

Oh, hadn't she? She supposed she should probably get used to introducing herself. There were always new people coming in, and she was the club leader.

"Naoko Tanaka," she said, giving a wide smile. "Club leader for the film club. I set the whole thing up."

She wasn't even trying to hide how proud she was, and she waved the new girl over as she did.

"You should join us to, if you haven't already signed up for the club."

Of course, her introductions came to a screeching halt when a bear shoved it's head in the door. Naoko wasn't new enough to the islands to think that it was anything but some kind of were, but she did think it was terribly uncouth to show up as a bear. She had no idea what any preferences? entailed, but that didn't stop her frown frowning.

"This isn't a cosplay event," Naoko pointed out. "Just... go back to human."

Of course she had no idea they weren't a were, but instead a much more rare everything shapeshifter.

"It's really very tidy," Ravina commented as she walked over to Naoko, who seemed kind enough to her.

She glanced at the screen where the movie would be playing, eyes wide and mouth parted in awe. "I ain't never watched stuff 'fore," she admitted. Having lived primarily underwater and on a small isle, Ravina hadn't experienced so much.

When Ivy came to the group, Ravina turned on her heel and stared at the bear with her mouth agape. It looked cute! And big. She wanted to touch it, but her mam had taught her not to pet strange creatures or approach strange people, so she stayed as she was.

"They shift?"

Naoko's phone began to beep loudly, interrupting any conversation as she fished it out.She was the kind of person who liked a schedule, and a schedule meant starting things on time.

"Sorry," Naoko said abruptly. "Movie needs to start now or else we'll run late and get in trouble, so can everyone grab a seat?" If people wanted to talk, they were going to have to do so after the movie was over, because Naoko wasn't risking getting in trouble for the whole thing.

Scooting away from the group, Naoko headed down towards where the projector was set up before realizing her mistake and doubling back to get the lights first instead.

Without much in the way of introduction, Naoko started the movie and settled in to watch.
