Adelene had woken up in a bedroom she didn't know, and she was sweaty and dirty and bare. And then she looked around, and she had found a man he's only met the night before-- sleeping beside her, and he was also sweaty and full of claw marks and bare. She realized what had happened, and rushed to cloth herself and run away from the place.
That was more or less a week ago. Her anxiety had subsided as the days passed, but stubbornly lingered because of one detail from that sinful night. And then her due came, but nothing showed, and it has been days since then and still nothing has happened.
Her period hasn't come even though it should already have a few days ago.
Matt didn't use protection that night.
Adelene knew somehow what this meant, but she was too scared to confirm its truth on her own. She was panicking inside, even though she still went to school and went on with her registration and other paperwork as if everything was normal. The anxious strain on her face, however, revealed that it wasn't. She usually didn't lose her cool like this, but Adelene has never experienced sex before Matt, and now she's realized that her impulsive act might ruin her life.
She didn't welcome the idea of having a little Addy just yet.
She was on her way home when a familiar figure crossed her line of sight. It was Matt, and if Addy wanted to go home then she should either pass by him or climb the roof. She wasn't feeling well enough to do the second option, so she dared to walk past him.
She was going to ignore him. She wasn't going to tell him her worries. What happened between them was nothing more than temporary comfort from their loneliness, but Addy faced even worse matters now, and she regretted she's even done it with Matt in the first place.
She walked right past him as if he wasn't there.
