Oh yeah... It just occured to her that she was going to be in more things than just magazines. She'll be all over social media. Honestly, she should have planned her 'cover' job better. It was a little unnerving with more and more people beginning to recognize her. Then again, she was being offered more shoots for other media so it made sense that the students around practically squealed at the sight of her. Honestly, her life turned upside down the moment Jacob decided to take that seat in the club.

Well, she was glad to at least help boost his ego. She could tell he was totally soaking this up. In fact, it seemed like his ego had boosted enough to ask her about dancing. "Um..Wot?" He caught her off guard with that one. D...Dancing? Like, moving your body around like a fool--kind of dancing? She felt her cheeks burn. Dancing wasn't in the Nemesis Program and even before that, she was too sick to dance... So dancing? She had never danced before in her life. "Uh..." Well, dancing or not, Lenn felt like a blabbering fool. "No... I um..." She pouted. Oh, she hated not being able to do certain 'things'. That's what got her to practice cooking, but...

"Oy'...dunnohowtodance."

Jacob was visible amused by Lenn's timidity about dancing. He kept his eyes on the dance floor, and their feet moving towards, but a sly smile etched itself on his face and it even seemed like he picked up the pace. Lenn stammering and pouting at his side was not a deterrent to the notion of dancing. In fact, it made him want to do it even more.

"That's fine. I'll show you how."

For once, it seemed, there was something Jacob knew that Lenn did not. Lenn might have been a master assassin and marksman and fighter, but Jacob knew a thing or two about. In his youth, he had a phase where he was more than a little interested in learning how to dance. The desire had started as a simple way to meet girls and then impress more girls. But he had taken a liking to it and stuck around for a while to actually learn.

He wondered why he ever stopped.

As the reached the dance floor, the band struck a beat and Jacob went right back into the motions. He pulled Lenn to his front, momentarily pressing the two of them together before putting a bit of space between them. He was smiling wryly, and a twinkle went through his eyes, as he placed one of Lenn's hands on his waist and held up the other in his own hand.

"Follow my lead..."

There was a poise that he had rarely shown as he took the first step in time with the song. He gently pushed his leg against Lenn's, guiding her and showing her where to move.

"Try to match your leg movements to mine. If I move a leg forward, move your leg back. Same if I'm going backward..."

Their dance was a basic one, but his experience in the art was clearly showing through regardless. He gave Lenn a twirl and then brought her in close, looking devious.

"Now hold on to my shoulders."

A second late, he was giving Lenn a DEEP dip, and his form was perfect. Leg was out, knee was bent just right, and his hands were holding her in the right places. All the lessons were coming right back. Some of the students hooted at the move.

Oh, he was loving that, wasn't he? Dancing just....It never was required for the job. Hell, she was never in the dance parties. It was more like sneaking in, popping the target, and getting the hell out before someone screamed bloody murder when they stumbled into the scene. She was hoping he wouldn't mind 'wallflowering' it with her on the side and just watch the party, but she caught Jacob's sly grin. "N-No oy' don't think--" her borderline plea was brushed off as she was dragged down to the dance floor. S-She didn't look good dancing! It was going to be horrible. She was going to trip on her own dress or something and-- "W-Waitaminute--" It was too bad the music was too loud for Jacob to hear.

Lenn; the master assassin of all time...Bested by her math teaching-boyfriend and dragged over to dance.

Okay, maybe it was a good thing the music was loud because then Jacob would have had the safisfaction of hearing Lenn's whine before they reached the dance floor. There was no way out once she was in his grasp. Like a silly girl on their first date, her face flushed when he pulled her close. Oh boy. There was that twinkle in his eye, that look Jacob got when he was in his prime. Follow 'is lead. Got it. She nodded as they begun. Awkwardly, the foot that Jacob guided shuffled back. Lenn obviously wasn't used to being taught things like this. It was...weird not being in control and because of that weirdness, she ended up stepping on his toe.

"Ah! Sorry..." her heel quickly retracted as if she had just stepped on something sacred. He didn't seem bothered in the least and instead continued to guide her through movement and words. "Okay..." With a bit of concentration and effort, her uncoordinated movements began to follow with him. It didn't take long and-- Wow. She eventually peeled her eyes away from their feet and settled upon Jacob's handsome face. He looked so...relaxed and into this sort of thing. Lenn never pegged him for a dancer, but damn was he good at it. He wasn't bad at teaching it either.

The twirling wasn't bad either! It almost felt magical. Sort of. Romantic things like balls, dancing, dresses, and cute heels never happened to girls like her. It was such a good feeling though. Once Jacob reeled her back in, her eyes locked onto his and that...devious look. She felt her chest tighten and her stomach flutter. Oh my... There was that feeling again. It was like...when they first officially met after the club and she came to the school pool only things weren't awkward because she literally blue-balled him and ran away the very next morning. He really was a handsome man and...She was glad he still wanted to be hers after all of this.

Speaking of her handsome man, he was telling her to hold onto his shoulders. She did so, but with a 'woy?' look on her face before he dipped her down. The sudden drop had her gasp and her world literally was turned upside down! She heard the hoots of students and some claps...and one kid who stood in front of her suddenly ran away with his hand to his bleeding nose. It took a moment for Lenn to realize that gravity and cleavage will do that to boys. Thank goodness the straps kept 'everything' in.

Once she was picked up from the dip, she stayed close and in sync with his movement. The song changed to a more slower paced song.

Of all the things he had done in his youth--the wild nights and the devil-may-care attitude--dancing was probably the only "sophisticated" pastime Jacob had partaken in. Not a lot of people actually knew that about him, and part of that might have been his own doing. While the young Jacob was never all that scared to be himself, he was still a young man concerned with parts of his image; and his image was the rogue-ish playboy who pleased the girls in his town to the ire of their dads. That same trouble-making pretty boy taking part in a dance class? Unheard of.

Thinking back on it, the girls that he did manage to woo with the help of his dancing might have been won over in other ways. Young people never really engaged in the more "formal" dancing Jacob had been learning. His lessons were pretty much only good for letting him better improvise the "club" dancing that kids always liked. The girls he met during the actual lessons... never actually fell for his charms, as much. They still thought of him as cute and handsome and worth dating, but the "sex" stage was never reached with them. They were probably the most mature and thoughtful girls he had ever met.

Back on the dance floor with Lenn, Jacob was realizing that dance was more of an older person's game, relatively. Especially the formal kind he was using on Lenn. He was happy to brought the skill back out of mental storage for her.

"You're learning quick! Pretty fun, huh?"

Jacob held Lenn close when the slow dance song kicked-in, very close. They were practically hugging and his arms drifted to hold her slender waist as they gently swayed and drifted along the dance floor. It was an intimate dance for an intimate song, and Jacob could not tear his eyes away from Lenn.

"You think you'd be interested in taking some dance classes with me? I could use a refresher. I hardly even remember the steps to the Rumba."

There was sarcasm and haughtiness in his voice, as if he had not already proven himself a good dancer already.

Lenn never really bothered with fun things like attending a party or dancing. She thought of it as a big waste of time back in the day where she could be out somewhere else earning boat loads of cash. Somehow, Jacob made all of these little things...fun. It didn't matter how silly she must have looked because all of her attention was focused on Jacob.

Suddenly no one else mattered. The gawking students and the general crowd all seemed to melt into the background the moment he pulled her close. Her arms instantly wrapped around his neck and once again she cherished his smell. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment, taking in Jacob's cologne.

Now that she thought about it, it had been a while since the two had ever been this close to each other. Yes, she still lived with him at his place, but he had given her space; maybe too much considering the fact that she was already at such a distance herself. It had almost gotten to the point where they were just roommates and nothing more. Sure they ate dinner together, but Lenn would be up and doing something with her time. She often rejected his offers of wanting to just sit together. It could be something as harmless as watching a movie, but she would turn him down with a flat-out no and take a run around the neighborhood instead because the thought of being that close to him made her feel uncomfortable.

Right now? Lenn couldn't tear herself away from him. She looked up into those big green eyes while he joked about taking dance lessons. "Well... Oy' wouldn' moind some... private lessons," She smirked, saying it loud enough to tease him and only him. " You think yer so slick. Woy' don'chu show me sum more of yer moves?"

The loneliness Jacob had experienced after they had come from New York had been crushing, and distressingly familiar. In the last days of previous marriage, he and his ex-wife had gone through the motions of living together and nothing more. After coming back from New York, he and Lenn were in a similar situation. They were close in physicality only, and mostly by happenstance. They were close when they passed in the hallway and they were technically close when they slept in the bed together, but there was no emotional connection. Eye contact was seemingly kept to a minimum and few words were exchanged.

The exile that Jacob had placed on himself, to give Lenn her space, was agonizing. Every day he wondered if that was the day when Lenn would decided that it was no longer worth it to wait it out, and every day he wondered if he could have done something or said something to make it all better. Every day he wondered if he missed his chance to bring her back, or if every attempt only made things worse. Every day he lost a little bit of hope in getting back Lenn. In the days before their trip to the ball, Jacob had found himself on the verge of tears multiple times.

But now... But now, as he and Lenn danced slowly and intimately on the dance floor, not paying any mind to anyone but the person they held, Jacob was thanking every one of his blessings. The woman he held his arms was the Lenn he knew and wanted, needed. Without any real words, he could feel their hearts connecting again, and rediscovering the joy of being together. He could have cried again.

He could have cried again if Lenn was not being just... the most smoking hot woman in the world at that moment. Lost in his own feelings for her, Jacob had momentarily forgot about something they had been missing in their relationship. But Lenn's playful eyes and teasing words reminded him of how long it had been since they had been together.

"Huhu... I'm willin' to teach you a thing or two if you're up to it."

Jacob's temperature shot through the roof in a second. It seemed his body remembered how long they had been apart, and it was more than willing to make up for lost time right then and there. Suddenly, Jacob was stricken with the same dilemma every young boy faced when close dancing with a girl for the first time. Except now he hoped that Lenn felt it.

"I don't usually hold office hours at this time, but for you I could make an exception. If you'll just follow me back to my office~"

Lenn had to hand it to Jacob. He was probably the smoothest character she had ever met. Then again, she had to give herself a bit of credit as well. She knew how to push his buttons and right now? He was pushing back in that kind of way. Things grew just a little hotter between the two of them and the best part of it all? She didn't even do anything to him. Not yet anyway.

He wasn't the only one feeling the hots. The whole night had dredged up those fond memories and familiar emotions and at some point she wanted to kick herself for treating him the way she did. When she really thought about it, their intimacy had dropped like a rock. There was nothing between them. The thought of Jacob on top of another woman-- That woman-- was at first infuriating...Then it became nauseating. After actually spending the entire day and night with Jacob, Lenn had gotten to the point where she wanted to make him forget about it entirely and what better way to do it? Even after everything that happened, Jacob was still hers dammit! She wasn't trying back then. She was definitely going to start now.

Speaking of now, he was accepting her little challenge and even taunted her with a little private session in his office. Ah, that office. It was just like the first time...

Lenn bit her lip. God, she loved it when he teased her.

" With pleasure, Mister Cunningham," she purred and traced a finger along his cheek. She leaned in close, smirking, "Oy' look forward to it~"

When Lenn traced her finger along his cheek and jaw, she got an honest-to-God shiver out of Jacob. With how close they were holding each other, there was no way she could have missed the buzz that flew up Jacob's body, starting from his toes and ending at the top of his head. While those around them were spared the sound, Lenn was close enough to hear Jacob let out the lowest, most luxurious growl. The whole night, with all its ups and downs, had been leading to the moment they were sharing. His eyes met her's and they both knew what was about to go down.

"Shall we then...?"

His voice was huskier than he intended, but it did not bother him. The two of them were like youngsters again, or at least he felt like one again. As he began to step away from the dance floor with Lenn in hand, he felt like they were rediscovering each other again, and they were right back in that moment when she had first come back to retrieve her misplaced phone. There was a flightiness and anticipation that crackled between them, the result of both of them knowing and wanting but unable to act while surrounded by so many eyes.

Their exit was swift and deviously quiet. The initial audience from before had dispersed with time, and only a few curious eyes were able to catch the pair as they stepped away from the ball and into darkened hallways of the Academy.

They were alone in a matter of moments as Jacob lead Lenn away from the area that was designated for the Ball. No one was around and Jacob could not bring himself to speak. The sounds of their steps echoed quietly in the darkness, but their smiles and desires could be felt in the air. His hand squeezed her's.

His office was found quickly enough and they both slipped in, with Jacob barely able to suppress his devilish chuckles. The two were alone now, and free to rekindle the spark that had brought them together before. There were few words left, yet Jacob had so much to say to Lenn about his love for her. He could only express them in the most pure and intimate way now.

A shiver went down her own spine when he spoke. He was ready and if it werent for the fact that they were in the middle of a party, she was certain he would have taken her right there. Lenn smiled and took his hand, giggling as he guided her through the crowd. This actually felt more exciting than the last time, but maybe that was because of the need they had for each other.

Even when the two were alone in the dark hallways, she remained silent, fearing that someone would hear and spoil the moment. They were definitely on a mission and Jacob was probably way more into it than she was. She had to admit that Jacob was a sneaky guy when he put his mind to it. After all, she did give him one hell of an incentive to ditch the crowd! The moment the two reached his office, she squeezed his hand in return.

Once inside, she didn't dare turn the lights on which wasn't a problem for her at all. She could see well in the dark and not to mention the lights from the outside poured through the blinds. It was just enough. It was perfect. She was on him in an instant, pinning him against the door and on the offensive with kisses that put all of his previous dates to shame. She couldn't hold herself back anymore. She wanted him to feel everything. She wanted show him how much she loved him. His hair was the first thing disturbed as she combed her fingers through his locks and tugged. The last kiss she broke with a gasp and paused. "Jacob..." She was glad he dragged her out of the house. They needed this. They needed this bad. " I love you...I really do..." She had a ton of things to say. Tons! But now that she had him all to herself, she couldn't bring herself to say it.

She treated him awful..."Oy'm...Sorry...I'm so sorry..." she kissed him again and again, telling him how much she loved him as their time in his office passed by. Clothes eventually littered the floor as the two finally released their pent up feelings. Even after the party long ended, their precious time most certainly didn't.
