
Charlie saw Jaxon's grin, and her stomach had a strange feeling for a small moment. It confused Charlie, and she looked down with a slight blush, tugging her scarf.
"It's...nothing. I'm happy...to help..."
Charlie mumbled, and cleared her throat quietly. She shuffled off the window sill and stood up, turning to look at Jaxon. Well, his chest, since Charlie avoided eye contact.
"I, um, think...I should go now...To the library. Before, um...it closes..."
Charlie fiddled with the hem of her shirt and pushed her glasses up with her other hand.
"If you...need help...please, um, ask. I'll...happily help."
Charlie briefly looked Jaxon in the eyes and smiled ever so slightly.
