Fish would fly before Aimouryllice a'Phoche ever accepted food from someone again. Some strange creature tried to poison her the day before, and the healers here had the gall to tell her that she had an "allergy". Aimouryllice was convinced that they were just trying to make excuses for her would-be murderer.
After having woken up and gotten an earful from the healers when she tried to rip out the cords attached to her body, she settled down and found herself mute and far less than entertained. There was absolutely nothing to do--at least nothing that she could reach without tearing the human technology from her precious skin. So, she sat back against her bed and stared at the wall because what else was there to do? At least the healers and tenders were kind enough to bring her some fish at her written request--but the fish were quickly devoured and juicy drops dribbled from her chin onto the sheets of her bed. One of the tenders threw Aimouryllice a dirty look when she thought she wasn't looking, but she knew.
The healers and tenders spoke some words she didn't understand and then she was alone again.
