Maria shook her head. "You've got it completely wrong," she said. "People can't forget their powers. Their powers are a part of them, and one can't exactly forget about something that is part of them." The mother obviously didn't have powers, which was most likely why she thought all the students here were strange, and why she thought her children could just easily forget about their powers.

Adelina smiled somewhat. "Genius," she said. She nodded briefly when he shut the hood of the car, and tilted her head to the side somewhat. "Do you have a plan on how you both can stay here?" she asked.

Rachel had no reply for that so she said, "Does it really matter?" She didn't really believe the woman. "I really should go find a place to stay for the night." She insisted.

Andrew thought. "I don't know." He shrugged.

"Yes, it does matter," Maria said. "But, as you wish. There's a place in the city, as I've said. If you must go there, then do so."

Adelina nodded. She was silent for a while, biting the inside of her lip in thought. "Maybe being forced to stay here will make her go mad," she said. "And she'll just leave. Do you think that's possible?" A look of hope came to her eyes, not really thinking it would work, but really wanting it to.

"Thank you then. I'll be back on Friday to get them." Rachel said. She walked towards the door.

Andrew grinned. "Hopefully." He felt a glimmer of hope.

Maria nodded. Friday? That should give her enough time to try and find out if the woman was a suitable guardian for the children. Even if she was their mother, that didn't mean she would be a good person to take care of Andrew and Dani. She would have to find the students, or find their record, and find out if she was good enough.

Adelina smiled. "Yeah," she said. She quickly went back to where October and Dani were. "Dani, you and Andrew might be able to stay after all.... MIGHT... Andrew was playing around with your mom's car, and if she can't leave, she'll have to stay here, and being around so many people with powers might drive her insane." She smiled.

Dani blinked. "What?" before Addie could reply, Rachel came out. "I'm sorry kids, but the headmistress is making you stay here until Friday." She told them. "I'm going to go find a place to stay." She hugged Dani and kissed her cheek, and Dani pushed her away. "Get away from me woman!" She muttered and retreated to a nearby tree. Andrew crossed his arms and stepped behind Addie.

Adelina was about to answer when Rachel came out. Her eyes narrowed when she kissed Dani and hugged her, and she allowed Andrew to stay behind her. She put her hands on her hips, ready to keep that woman away from her boyfriend if it would be needed.

October folded her arms over her chest, looking at the Jenson siblings mother, not saying anything. She just remained silent, wanting to see how the mother would react when she found how her car didn't work.

Rachel frowned at her son. "Goodbye, Andy."Dani glared at her brother, since he only got a goodbye, and Andrew glared at his mother for calling him Andrew. He suddenly wished he hadn't messed with the wires. Maybe she'd leave and forget about them...though that was doubtful.
Rachel walked to the car and started it. The motor turned over and then died. She tried again, and this time the engine only sputtered before dying. She got out and glared at it, as though it would make a difference. "Stupid piece of trash."

Adelina rolled her eyes. She was his mother, and she, of all people, should know he didn't like being called Andy. Of course, she wouldn't know that though, since she had just left her kids for thirteen years.

The girls tried not to smirk when the car died, and they succeeded. They just pretended not to know what had happened. "The car isn't working?" October questioned, her head tilting to the side. "Huh, that's odd, since it was working earlier...."

Rachel glared at October, only because she had spoken. "Considering where I got it at..." She rolled her eyes and went back inside the school. Andrew followed to see what she would do, so Dani followed him.
