Disaster

Both of the sisters eyes narrowed. October hadn't wanted to get a temper, but no, she wasn't going to take this. Andrew and Dani were the first good things to happen to her and her sister in years, and she wouldn't let that be taken away. Not for just her sake and Adelina's, but for Andrew and Dani as well. London was so far away, and she was sure both Adelina's and Andrew's hearts would be broken if they were taken away from each other.

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!?!!" October screeched. "You witch! Who do you think you are, taking them away from a place they LOVE?! Taking them away from PEOPLE they love?! Selfish, absolutely selfish! Did you think nothing for your children?! You're no mother if you're not thinking about what they want, and what is best for them! No one on the outside world can teach them how to use their powers, and whether you like it or not, it's a FACT." She took a few deep breaths, blinking at what she had actually said. That was the first time she had yelled in... how long? She had no idea. She suppressed a few coughs yelling at that volume caused, not wanting to be seen as weak. Not now.

Adelina's eyes widened at what her sister did. That wasn't like her. She shook her head, though, and she looked at Andrew and Dani. "Don't go with her. Please... stay out here... just until we know if we can talk her out of it..." she whispered quietly to them, eyes pleading for them to do as she said. She then looked at their mother.

"Precisely what my sister OCTOBER said! You idiot, have you no memory? Can't even remember some simple names? And what makes you think they would WANT to go with you?! Oh, don't even give me the 'it doesn't matter what they want', because every DECENT parent at least considers it!" She yelled, her temper going up again.

Dani and Andrew turned and stared at October. Then they looked at each other as if to say "What just happened here?" Rachel Jenson glared at the Hotaru girls. She cleared her throat. "Really, I don't remember me asking your oppinion. I'm doing what's best for my children."
Dani frowned. "Don't call us your children!" She nearly hissed. "In case you don't remember, YOU'RE the one who left US and Dad. You can't just waltz thirteen years later and try to take over!" Tears stung her eyes and a single one rolled down her cheek.
"Danica Marie Jenson! Do not speak to me like that again."
Dani fell silent and she clenched her teeth, ready to punch someone's lights out.

The girls smirked in satisfaction. It was the first time such an expression came to October's mouth, and she wasn't sure if it would be the last or not. Adelina rolled her eyes. "You seem to FORGET that I can say whatever I want. It's a free country, is it not? Yeah. I'll say whatever I want, lady. You mean nothing to me and I have no reason to treat someone such as yourself with even an ounce of respect," she said. She narrowed her eyes, still smirking.

October looked at Dani when she spoke, and decided that she should use that to make the mother feel bad.... if she even had a heart. "She'll speak to you any way she wants, lady!" October said. "Like my sister, ADELINA, said, it's a free country. You LEFT your family?! How HEARTLESS are you? And yeah, feel free to answer that. I'd like to know." She paused for a few moments. "I would agree with the fact that you have no right to call them your children. They didn't have you when they were growing up, and they've been doing fine on their own, and with US! So, really, do you think they need you now? Or that they WANT you to be around?"

Rachel seemed unaffected by their words. "I had my reasons for leaving."
Andrew snorted. "What? Our powers were just too much for you to handle?" He thought sarcastically.
Dani was thinking pretty much the same thing, and surprisingly enough, she didn't say what was in her mind.
"Anyway, this conversation is pretty much pointless." She turned and started walking away, her black high heels sinking into the snow. She glanced over her shoulder. "I mean it. Go pack. Now." It seemed as though she were forcing the next words out. "It was...lovely...meeting you, Melina, March." With that, she hurried towards the school.

"Oh yeah? And what were those so called 'reasons'?" Adelina snarled. Ice began to cover her nails, something that happened when she was annoyed or angry. And right now, she was beyond furious. How dare that woman just waltz right in.... how dare she...

The ice started trailing down the skin of her fingers. She didn't even notice it, though, she was too enraged to care.

The same thing was happening to the black-haired younger girls fingers. They were beginning to get covered in ice, though she was really trying not to let that happen. "Idiot..." she growled, and kicked at the ground in her anger. She turned to Dani and Andrew. "You don't plan on going with her, do you? You're not actually going to listen to her, right?!"

Both of the sisters looked at the Jenson's, their eyes once again begging them not to do what their mother said.

Andrew was hesitant. "I don't really think we can not go." He said quietly.
Dani nodded. "We're not legal adults yet, so I don't think we really have a choice." She sighed and brushed a tear away.

Adelina turned away, immediately beginning to tremble. She folded her arms over her chest and let out a deep breath, only to lift her arms a moment later and hold the sides of her head. She wanted to cry now, but she wasn't going to. She hated showing weakness. "This is madness..." she said softly to herself. "Complete... complete madness..." She was shaking, still not looking at either of the three, knowing that if she faced them tears might starts pouring out of her eyes.

The first good thing is getting taken away... ugh, why did I ever agree to go to the festival with him?! Why did I have to go to the roof that day? I'm such... such an idiot... she thought to herself, now taking a few steps away from the others.

October frowned, trying not to cry as well. "Maybe the headmistress won't let you go... hopefully..." she said, very quietly, doubting that would ever happen. She rubbed her forehead, knowing that Andrew and Dani were going to have to go away, no matter what any of them tried to do it.

Andrew followed Addie. He put his arm around her shoulders. "Don't worry, Addie. We'll figure something out." He promised.
Dani swallowed the lump in her throat. She hadn't heard what Andrew had said. She turned to October. "I suppose I should go pack." She muttered.

Adelina continued shaking, still trying hard not to do so. "Are you sure?" she asked him, looking Andrew right in the eyes. She quickly hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. She feared that if she did, he would leave... and she didn't want him to. She was really close to crying, and this was more than obvious, as much as she tried to hide it.

October's bottom lip quivered when Dani said that, and she quickly ran to the older female, hugging her. She didn't say anything, though.

Andrew nodded, though he wasn't really sure. "Yeah. I'm sure." He hugged Addie back.

Dani sniffed when October hugged her. "You guys are like the best friends I've had in a really long time." She said quietly.
