The Hotaru's returned the glare Rachel had given, and since Andrew and Dani were following their mother, the sisters did as well. They weren't about to leave the two alone with such a monster. They were silent, just waiting to see where the mother was going and what everyone was going to say.

Rachel barged into the headmistress' office, not even bothering to knock. The twins were right behind her. "Do you have a phone book I could use?" She asked, not politely.

The Headmistress looked up. "You know, it's polite to knock," she said, now becoming annoyed with this woman. "Why do you need a phonebook? Not like I even have one around here. You don't need to be so RUDE." The woman folded her arms over her chest, eyes narrowing a bit.

The girls followed the siblings, staying behind them and still staying silent.

Rachel took three steps forward and glared. "Listen lady, I'm not having a good day. My car isn't working, and I need somebody to come out here and fix it!" She said angrily.
Andrew glanced at his sister, trying to keep from laughing.

Maria could care less if this woman was glaring at her or was getting angry. It didn't mean anything to her. "I said you could stay here at the academy," she said. "And even so, by the time someone came by to fix your car, it would be dark out. If you want to call, so be it, I'll try and find a phone book, but it will take them a while to get here. It would just be easier to stay at the school. Really, would being around here for a few days kill you?" She glanced at the four children, then looked back to Rachel.

The girls were trying not to laugh either. Heh, maybe the Headmisstress is on our side... Adelina thought to herself.

Rachel sighed in defeat. "Fine. Where am I staying?"
Dani's jaw dropped. Her mom had given up so easily! She did look kind of tired...maybe that was the reason why.
Andrew turned and grinned triumphantly at Addie.

"There are some empty dorm rooms," Maria said. "You can stay in one of them. I'll show you there if you want." Again, the woman looked at the four children, then back to Mrs. Jenson.

Adelina looked at Andrew, smiling somewhat, but not feeling triumphant yet. They stil had a few days before the plan was over, and they couldn't celebrate until they knew their plan actually worked.

Rachel sighed with relief, overly joyed that she got to stay by herself.
Dani had a sudden burst of inspiration. "That's not really neccessary...Mom. You can stay with Addie, October, and I." Okay, so, Addie and October would probably hate her, but if she had her own dorm, Rachel wouldn't have to associate with people that had powers, which means she might not get as aggravated. And then she might not be as hesitant to take them away.

"That's not really neccessary...Mom. You can stay with Addie, October, and I."

Adelina started coughing upon hearing that, seeming to have just started coughing on the air. As soon as she could breathe again, she looked at Dani with a 'what the heck?' look on her face. But then she understood... if the woman wasn't around people with powers, then she wouldn't go insane.

She forced a smile anyway. "Yeah... sure... you can stay with us..." she said, and elbowed her sister lightly in the ribs, making her nod in agreement as well.

Andrew smirked. Poor them. Rachel frowned. Okay, be nice to your daughter, make this easier on yourself... As if reading her thoughts, Dani put on a pleading expression. "PLEASE Mom?" She begged.
Rachel forced a smile. "I...uh, I suppose."
"AWESOME!" Dani again lied. She practically dragged her mom out of the headmistress' office, turning to wink at Maria.
