Rosalina was going through her mental checklist as she finished organizing the closet. There were a bunch of new items she had to add to the hallway closet now that she was no longer living alone. She had a wonderful energetic daughter to care for. This brought her much joy because she always wanted a child of her own. This was her chance. It had been several days since she adopted the girl, perhaps a week or so. She did tell Smoki to clean her room, but she didn't check if she had done it or not yet. She was busy doing a bit of cleaning of her own.
Satisfied with the organized space, she closed the door and stepped away. One glance at her phone told her that she needed to cook dinner soon. She was still dressed in the nice spring dress she wore to work, but she had since changed out of her heels and into some comfortable flip-flops. The woman turned to the stairway just as her ears picked up the sound of her daughter calling her. The android hustled down the steps in a quick but graceful manner. Her sensors told her that Smoki was in the living room. Sure enough, her daughter was hopping up and down on the couch.
"Yes sweetie? And oh, be careful!"
The last thing she wanted was for the girl to get injured. It hadn't been long since that hospital trip after all. Her eyes scanned the nearby perimeter to make sure that there were no stray objects that she could harm herself on. It made her smile to see that the girl loved the jellyfish. She won that jellyfish from the carnival for her. It was one of those rare prizes for playing a ridiculously hard ball game. Let's just say Rosie might have used a bit too much of her strength and destroyed the targets with power and precision. Nothing could get between her and winning a toy for her daughter!
