"I suppose that reaction makes sense." She said, crossing her arms as she considered this further. "I imagine she would have...strong feelings about all this."

"But it's good you kept it. From the sounds of it, this Grostman must have been a talented wizard. I'm sure his notes could help us with our own goals."

Knowledge was power as far as Wednesday was concerned, and with the threats that stalked all of the coven members, she was willing to take any advantage she could get towards breaking their curses. Even if the source was from something darker.

"Maybe if I have any copies of his work, we can compare them together? It might make deciphering them easier if we have more reference points to work with."

Monday had not even considered using Grostman's knowledge to break their own curses. He had been more focused on the books falling in the wrong hands than anything else. But as he thought about it, the more logical it seemed. Obviously, Grostman's magic was strong, and probably very dark... which considering the nature of their curses might actually be a good thing.

"I have the book at home, stored safely away in a safe," Monday explained, "I didn't want Ganymede going through the book by accident," he said, knowing that he might easily pick it up if Monday put it away with his other magic tomes.

"But we could most definitely compare notes, or maybe try to decipher my manuscript together if you don't have one of Grostman's works in your collection... two heads are always better than one, or so they say," he said with a grin.

"It would be a good start," She said, with a businesslike nod of her head. "I, um, have a lot of things I'm working on at the moment, but I think this could be a worthwhile thing to look into. I can have a look right now if you want."

Assuming Monday had no objections, Wednesday stood up from her seat, leaving Frodo to his rest, and heading off to her room, leading the older witch there.

Wednesday lead Monday towards one of the doors further away from the main living room, leading into the small tower connected to the shop that belonged to her. As soon as the door opened, he'd be able to see the walls were covered with many arcane runes and symbols, all drawn by her, meant to protect the area from any scrying, astral projecting or any other arcane intrusion.

Evidently, the girl liked her privacy.

Wednesday moved over to a large trunk located near her bed, crouching down as she flipped the latches to open it, revealing the books within. She reached a hand out to begin sorting through, before stopping, glancing over her shoulder back at Monday.

"Um...do you think Candle will...I dunno, be upset with this? You mentioned they had an, um, extreme reaction to knowing you had one of Grostman's books in the first place. I wouldn't want this to cause any problems in your home."

She decided to leave the implication of I think your servant will want to sabotage this unsaid. She hardly knew Candle after all, and it wouldn't be fair to judge her on things she might do.

Monday followed Wednesday up to the tower, not exactly surprised to see all the protection spells when they entered the room. He had done the same to his own library. Well, maybe not to the same degree, he had to admit to himself as he now began to notice more than just one or two protection spells on the walls.

"Candle tried to incinerate the book," Monday told Wednesday as he winced at the memory of his assistant taking her anger out on the effigy of Grostman that he had created for her so that she could take her anger out on it instead.

"So yeah, I think she's more than okay with this," he assured her. "She doesn't like the idea of Grosman´s works being out there, maybe not as much as me," he admitted, "but she did agree to help us if we need her. In fact, she is going to look in the library to see if there are any of his works there."

"Well, as long as you think it's ok." Wednesday murmured, before returning her attention to the trunk. If Monday thought she was reliable, she figured it was good enough for her.

Wednesday hadn't fully had the chance to read everything in this collection yet, her work with the coven, in school, and digging through the library with all its new materials meant she hadn't fully had the chance yet. Her collection, however, was meticulously organised. Each stack of books she pulled out from the trunk was grouped together by magic topic, the books themselves ordered alphabetically by author, though there were multiple books that had no names. Some of the books were wrapped in an extra leather binding, a faint hint of magic detectable on them, likely to keep the more risky books safe.

Eventually, several piles of books were left on the ground surrounding Wednesday, who sat cross-legged on the ground amongst them.

"Ok! So um, hopefully, it shouldn't take too long to check through to see if I have any copies. Anything I should keep an eye out for? Specific magic theories? Aliases?"
