Lei laughed against the sink, wiping his mouth with his sleeve. Deith was so sweet. He thought he was so lucky to have him. Prince charming indeed.

He gargled a couple of times to get the gross taste out and filled his stomach with water. "I'd kiss you again if it wouldn't be gross."

He got his face out of the sink, fixing his entire look as he looked at himself in the mirror. Aside from the red around his eyes and how pale he looked, he was more or less decent. He grabbed Deith by the hand. "I think I need something to eat. What do people usually eat in amusement parks?"

Deith looked down at their hands and held on in return, before nodding at Lei. Seeing that he was already okay took away Deith's worry. "Good idea." He smiled. "What kind of food though? There are corndogs pretty much everywhere around here, and probably some burger stands, too. Ah, let's just look around."

Deith made his hold a bit more firm, at the same time making sure it was gentle. He led Lei out of the bathroom, thanked the staff outside, and headed to where the food stands were. In that area, the air was mostly filled with the smell of food and grease. He wasn't sure what to get.

Lei was practically hugging Deith's arm as they left the staff bathroom. He looked away when he made eye contact with the dude whose shirt he vomited on earlier because shit that was awkward.

"Anything to fill me up and get this vomit taste of my mouth." They were nearing the food stalls. There was a wide selection of food he's never seen before. "I've had burgers and I've decided I like them, so we can get that. I also like pizza but I don't understand why they're in a cone? Oh, oh, do you want to split a milkshake?"

Lei smiled at Deith. He... didn't have a lot of spending money, actually. He only had grocery money in his pocket, and that was because he'd been saving for a month. School allowance was tight.

He was willing to spend a little more so he could spend more time with Deith, though.

"Burger's a good idea," Deith replied. There were many stalls selling burgers, so he had to look around a bit to see which one sold the burger that looked most eye-catching. He found one that sold double burgers, and decided to go with that, even though he thought giving Lei anything heavy might not be a good idea especially right after he threw up.

After ordering, he turned to Lei. "You want milkshake? Is your stomach okay with it though? I don't want you getting all dizzy and sick. Don't force yourself," he said, gently, and the look in his eyes showed he said those out of concern

Lei held onto Deith's arm tightly, but he loosened it a bit to take one of the burgers once the cook was done with it. It smelled heavenly.

"I really need something to fill me up and get this stupid vomit taste out of my mouth, Deith," he whined a bit pathetically, bumping the side of his head with his arm. "I haven't actually eaten lunch yet. My stomach feels like a void and also I really want a milkshake."

Oh, right. He pulled out a few, crumpled up rolls of dollars from his pocket and handed them to Deith. "Here. For half the burger and the milkshake."

Deith eyed the cash after taking his own burger from the fry cook. He turned his eyes to Lei, and gave a dismissive shake of the head. "We still have to buy some groceries before you head back, right? Don't buy anything til then. Don't worry about our expense here."

He smiled at him and kissed his forehead before pulling him to the next stall that sold milkshakes. Would Lei want to share the drinks? Unsure, he ordered a big one that was enough for them both. It didn't take too long before they got their drink, and Deith tool two straws to stick into the drink. And then he handed it over to Lei. "Here you go. Should we stop somewhere or do you want to look around while eating?"

It... was fine when it was in the cafe, but Deith was offering to spend more money on him. Lei's sense of shame began to kick in. His face heat up. He buried his face on his arm, embarrassed.

"Wait — No, no, wait. That's not..."

It was coming true.

He was turning into Deith's blushing waifu like he predicted when they first met.

He looked at the drink and took it shyly, saying a small 'thanks'. "We can sit at the pier next to the amusement park?"

"Alright." Deith was a bit more than pleased to see Lei getting all flustered and red again. But he decided not to push it. He was, after all, just going to spoil him all day.

.

The pier was a good idea. It wasn't as busy and crowded as the inside of the amusement park itself, but it wasn't a lonely place either, and they could still take a good look at the ocean.

They sat there on a bench, Deith relaxing his back against it.

The ocean brought back the memories of their first meeting. While he did think that it was sweet to reminisce those moments, he... couldn't really help but be silent and get lost in them, and then randomly laugh at the adorable fail-moments Lei had back then. The ocean, the sand, the bath tub...

Was it bad that he was laughing? He couldn't help it. Suddenly, he wrapped an arm around Lei's waist and pulled him close, kissing the top of his head again. "Hey, I know it's obvious, but have I ever told you I like you?"

Lei finished his hamburger while they were walking (which was both a good idea and a bad one, good because it was delicious and it got rid of the vomit taste in his mouth, bad because it did upset his stomach a bit) so now he was working on defeating the giant milkshake they shared.

Looking at this beautiful view, with sea gulls flying overhead and the slowly setting sun juxtaposed against the blue, blue ocean... It just reminded Lei of how much he freaking hated the fucking ocean. Fuck that large body of water. He was going to get his revenge against it one day, he promised it that.

He heard laughter and he felt his face blush. Deith was probably thinking the same thing! The asshole! The stupid ocean venture wasn't that —

He felt an arm around his waist and a kiss on his head.

His mind blanked out.

He recovered just in time to hear Deith say he liked him. He placed the milkshake on the ground, his heart beating dangerously fast and his face was so red. Damn it, even after all this time, he made his knees feel weak. He clutched his shirt and buried his face on his arm.

"Deith..." He sighed. "Feelings like these are new for me. But I thought of you everyday since the night I met you. I got so sad at the thought of never seeing you again... but I'm so glad I did. I really am."

Shit, he was crying now. Why did he always have to cry because of everything?

Deith watched him with green eyes glinting with adoration, his fingers raked through those beautiful white hair strands as Lei buried his face on his arm. He could feel how Lei's face burned against his sleeve, but even though his usual reaction was to laugh, the atmosphere surrounding them stopped him.

They were actually confessing to each other. They were, weren't they?

Deith's eyes slightly widened at those words. He felt the same, even though they haven't known each other for so long yet. He's constantly been thinking of him, too, and his chest would always feel heavier whenever he'd realize that Lei wasn't with him, his mind would suddenly be filled with nervous thoughts that they might not get to chance to know each other more.

And then the heat on his sleeve suddenly felt damp. He blinked, and shifted so he could hold Lei's face up. "Lei, are you... okay?" Lei was crying. What for? Deith's face was suddenly twisted with worry, as he wiped those tears with his thumb.

He smiled at him, hoping to make him smile as well. "I'm happy you've thought about me, Lei. Really. It's been the same for me so, please don't cry," and then he pressed their lips together once again, but this time, he gave him a gentle kiss, not one that was caused by a heated moment.
