Orion opted for the spoon option. A quick trip to the counter later, he was ready to experience a whole new world of sweet treats. He was careful not to be too forceful with his spoon, as he could feel the fragility of the crepe in his hand, and scooped a good amount of everything to pop into his mouth. Suffice it to say, he was really happy that he had sprung for the crepe and ice cream. It was great.

"Mmmm~ Oh man. This is good stuff, hon!"

He shoved another spoonful in his mouth, and even remembered to swallow before talking to Faye again.

"Good call on the spoon too. Keeps the mess to a minimum. Don't wanna be gettin' my hands too dirty now. They got things to do."

The playful way he waggled his eyebrows at her following that statement was difficult to get a read on. Orion could have easily been quite serious in his innuendo, or was just having a little fun with Faye. Knowing Orion, it was probably a case of both being true to some degree.

"Y'know, Faye, I still have that shirt we made back in the art room. It's actually one of my favorites cause we made it together and stuff. I hope we can do more art-ing together some time."

As soon as she finished her sentence of the options of how he should eat his crepe, he got up to go to get a utensil. She noticed that he came back with a spoon. She could tell he was really enjoying his crepe, as she was really enjoying her chocolate ice cream and her share of the cookie.

"Seems like you're really enjoying it!"

She took another bite of the cookie, and nearly choked when he mentioned not wanting to get his hands dirty, cause they had "things to do". What his hands could do though, she thought. Maybe it had been innocent what he said, but her thoughts sure were not. Then she looked up to see him waggle his eyebrows. Okay maybe not so innocent. But she still hoped he hadn't seen in her eyes what she had thought. She really needed to get her mind out of the gutter.

She was thankful when he started to talk again, mentioning how he still had the shirt they made together. He also mentioned that he hoped they could do more art things together. Faye had another inappropraite thought, but pushed it aside before she could really think about it.

"Yeah I was hoping the same, I really enjoyed myself that day." She smiled shyly. She had really enjoyed herself. "I'd say we could do something other than painting, but uh.. if it turned out like it did the other time I wouldn't mind." Faye blushed and looked down, typically she wasn't so forward, but it just kind of slipped.

She looked at the cookie again, deciding to quickly change the subject, not that he could ignore that, and pushed it to Orion, "You should probably get this out of my reach. I may have finished my chocolate ice cream, and my part of the cookie, but that doesn't mean my sweet tooth has faded." She laughed to herself. "I really have a thing for sweet things."

"Yeah. I never expected to walk into the art room and get a face full of ART for me troubles. But looking back, I'm glad I showed up that day. You really opened my eyes to the world of art."

Ever since that day where he and Faye painted themselves and canvases together, Orion had done some research and practice on his own. He found the world of art to be just as compelling as the scientific world had he previously been exclusive to, and happily swung between them now. What he personally found most interesting was how the art reflected the people and times from which it came, and he attempted to do the same with his own practice works. He was slowly closing-in on what he thought to be to his own style. He would have show Faye his attempts later.

Faye's forwardness was not lost on Orion, whom grinned knowingly at her as she blushed and looked away. He found himself liking her openness with her wants. She was being open and honest, and he really liked that. It also meant that she was not opposed to his own bouts of playfulness too.

"I'd be up for a little experimenting with different mediums and styles. As long as you'd be up for trying new things with me."

He was just teasing her along at that point. If the two of them continued exchanging pleasantries like those, the employees would have had to ask them to leave lest their heat melt the ice cream.

Orion took the offered cookie and wrapped it up in the wax paper it came in. He was finishing up his delicious crepe, and he could carry the cookie once they left the shop together.

"I think you're rubbing off on me because I think I'm developing a sweet tooth too, for crepes and *giggle* you."

Just like before, he let his words linger before getting back to his feet and offering her his hand as they left to wander about the mall.

"You feeling better yet, honey?"

She smiled to herself when he said he was glad he showed up that day, and that she had really opened his eyes up to the world of art. That made her happiness level really boost, she'd always wanted to inspire someone with art,

"I'm glad you showed up that day too." She had really meant that too. If it weren't for him, she would still be in her sad state of mind, and he was bringing her out of it.

She found that every time he smiled it was really contagious, because she couldn't help but smile too. Even after what she had just said to him, her shyness didn't linger long.

When he began talking again about wanting to try new mediums and styles, as long as she was willing to try them with her, it made her mind wander back to the art room that day, but she didn't stay there long, she turned her attention back to Orion.

"Yeah, I would like that, a lot." She wasn't pondering on her last thoughts, she was being serious. She loved art, and to have, well she wasn't sure what she and Orion were, but to have someone to share art with made her really happy.

She laughed quietly when he said she was rubbing off on him with her sweet tooth, but then he said something about developing his sweet tooth for crepes and let out a small laugh and said you. That threw her off.

"Hmm?" She meant to ask as a question, but she couldn't get her question out.

Orion getting up, offering her a hand which she gladly took, and asked her how she was feeling, pulled her mind away from what he said.

"Well thanks to you I'm actually pretty great right now, I haven't been in this great of a mood in quite a few days." She gently have his hand a squeeze letting him know just how much his spending time with her really meant.

She was really yearning to know what he'd meant about getting a sweet tooth for her meant, and wanted to get their feelings settled. What were they? She would willingly admit she felt something for her, but what about him? What did he feel?

If Faye was hoping to get a better read on Orion's feelings for her, she was unfortunately at a disadvantage. Orion had such a mercurial mood that he easily slipped from one emotion to another without leaving any traces of underlying thought beyond what he was currently expressing. As they walked around the mall, fueled by their ice cream and crepes, Orion was just in a plain good mood. He was all smiles and sunshine. It was clear that he was genuinely enjoying his time with Faye, but nothing much more than that.

Hearing that Faye was in a better mood only encouraged to Orion to keep it going. Not that he was going to stop being a good person in a good mood for her. His hand gave her's an affectionate squeeze as they walked, looking like quite the young couple.

"That's awesome to hear! So now you know you can always come to me if you need a picker-upper. Any time, honey."

The way his eyes graced over her showed that he meant what he said.

A moment later, his eyes caught sight of something they were passing and he stopped to look at it: an arts and craft supply store. The light bulb going off over his head was almost audible.

"Oh! Check it out! Maybe we can get some stuff for our next art session, and I could pick up stuff to use back at my place. Think you could help me pick our the right stuff, miss Expert Artist?"

It was just going to have to wait, she wasn't going to talk about that right now. She'd figure out his feelings out later. She didn't want to make it things weird at the moment. She was just glad he offered to spend time With her in the first place. She liked the gentle squeeze he gave her hand before saying that she could always go to him.

"I think I might just take you up on that," and she really meant that. No one has really offered to be there for her the way he had, and truly meant it. Looking at Orion, even if he was all smiles, she could see the truth his words carried.

She noticed something catch. Orion's eye and noticed it was an art store. So this is where the art store was! Although the mall wasn't huge, she still hadn't noticed it until now. Faye was still using the art supplies she had brought from home, she had quite the collection.

She laughed at the fact he called her "miss Expert Artist" she was far from it, but she definitely with inexperienced with the arts. It was her passion, and her talent continued to grow with each day. Or so she thought it was.

"Yeah of course. For your place if you like to paint perhaps some acrylic paints? But we should try new things in the art room, or even outside the art room. Because there's a few things I haven't tried yet. Well more than a few, but anyway," she smiled.

"We may want to steer clear of the paint though, unless we want it to end up the way it did the last time.." She said that in almost a whisper, but if he were paying attention he would hear. She wouldn't really let that happen, here anyway, but it was fun to joke.

She saw some pottery type stuff, and pulled Orion along with her.

"What about this for something new? I've never tried this?. Have you?"

The art supply store looks a lot more like a locally-owned place than the ice cream shop did. It was still nice and clean, but it lacked the expensive decor and fixings of a corporate store. Instead the shop displayed a lot of pieces from local artists and artisans, showing off the weird and eclectic side of Manta Carlos. Towards the back was a well-used arts and crafts area that had just the right amount of mess to say that it was being used constantly by customers and artists. It was no wonder it seemed popular with local artists because the place was stocked with everyone they could need.

Orion found himself drawn to the life paintings, the kinds that aimed for realism of everyday sights and objects. The skill involved with making some of them look like photos was amazing to him, and he kept trying to look closer to see the exact point where it became obvious that it was a painting and not a photo.

"Well, if we get paint, I promise to not throw it around like we did before. I'll only do that with the paints the schools provide cause, hey, I didn't pay for those."

He was almost ready to start picking out what paints he wanted from the many available when Faye pulled him away to the pottery section, full of clay and molds and those spinning table things.

"Are you serious? Of course I haven't. I hadn't even picked up a paint brush until I met you."

Orion picked up a block of clay, feeling its weight in his hands, then looked at one of the pottery wheels.

"Hm... So this device... It squeezes this into a pot or something?"

"Yeah I totally agree. I would have never have done that with my own paint. It's way too expensive, plus I don't have the big tubs like the school has. The supply closet is filled with it." She then thought about oil paints. "I wouldn't go for oils though, it's not as easy to get off as acrylic."

"Really, you've never picked a paintbrush up before then? Well' guess my accidentally throwing a paintbrush at you, knocked some art inspiration into you." She laughed, teasing him.

She watched as Orion picked up a block of clay for the pottery wheel, and asked how it worked. Faye had no idea. She was new to the idea of that too. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea?

"Hmm.. Too be honest with you, I couldn't tell you." She gave him a smile. "But it could be fun to learn. There's actually clay and a few pottery wheels in the class room. We could practice there sometime?"

She remembered that before she had dragged him away, he was looking at the paints. "Maybe I could help you pick out some paints and paintbrushes? Possibly some canvas as well. I mean.. Unless you want to paint your wall, or perhaps another shirt?" She looked away and smiled, she couldn't help referring back to the day in the art room, the memory was still fresh in her mind, after all it was a good one.

"Hm..."

Orion looked from the clay in his hands to the pottery wheel to the paints, and then back to the clay. He looked to be deep in consideration of the many options available to the two of them. There was pottery to be learned and paint to be bought. Everything sounded so appealing. Faye's mention of the class room got him to look over to the back of the store again, where several pottery wheels were already ready to go.

"Maybe... Maybe we can buy the paint... After we try out this whole pottery business right here!"

With the block of clay still in his hands, he lead the way to the rear of the shop, which was set up in a similar fashion to the class room in the Academy. He asked an employee if they could use one of the pottery wheels, and they were happy to let them try, though Orion still had to pay a few dollars for the clay itself.

The employee lead them over to one of the pottery wheels and gave them a quick introduction on how to use it, and a few pointers on how to make a simple vase. Orion listened intently and, after the employee had left, was ready to start with Faye. They would be working on the same lump of clay on the same wheel, sitting across from each other. Orion was already rolling his sleeves up and watering-up his hands.

"So the guy said that we should spin it up slowly to start..."

Orion pressed down on the pedal lightly, and then held his hands out to the turning lump, ready to catch it or mold it.

"... Okay. I got this side. You think you can handle your side? We'll try and shape this thing together."

Faye was kind of surprised that he wanted to learn her, but all the same note so much, it did look kind of fun. But messy. Oh well, being in a T-shirt and shorts were to her advantage today after all.

"Great idea!" She pulled her hair up into a simple ponytail, with the hair tie she always wore on her wrist.

She listened to the employee explain how to do it, and made a mental list of what she had to do. Hmm, simple enough. Or so she thought.

"Okay..slowly then." Faye said more to herself than Orion. "I think I can handle this side."

As they began to start, it seemed like she was getting the hang of it at first, but that wasn't the case at all. Every time she start to get it smooth she'd mess it up again. She wondered if the irritation showed, on her face yet. She typically tried to do things right herself, she was too stubborn to ask for help.

"This is so-," she heaved a breath, "different."

It was true she'd never experimented with it before, but she still couldn't figure out how to make it so flat. Her stubbornness, if that's what you'd call it faded and she finally gave in. She needed more guidance as to where to out her hands.

"Could you help me, Orion? Or at least show me how you're doing it?"
