Eroshay Nikiah is a 12-year-old orphan who has lived in Manta Carlos all her life and been in the system since six years of age when she was found on the stairs of the local orphanage. Soaked through with blood that was not her own, covered in dirt, and seemingly in shock, it took her months to be willing to say a thing after this.

◊ Her powers are fueled by her life force.
◊ A solitary child who doesn't do well with people she doesn't know.
◊ Due to her ability to see death, Shay is mature beyond her years.
◊ Is extremely reluctant to get close to people physically or emotionally and has a mental hangup of feeling forgotten and unwanted.
◊ She finds graveyards and other places full of death therapeutic.
◊ She doesn't enjoy things most average children do, most games and other childish activities don't hold her attention.
◊ Believes herself to be easily replaceable.
