<div align=center>Oblivion nodded, laughing a little, "good," a playful smirk crossed his face, "I think she'd be disappointed if she couldn't join in." He stated, "she's a fantastic flyer." He muttered, the creature took wing, bringing herself back down on top of Spirit's head, settling herself there and hooting softly. Oblivion laughed at the sight, and shook his head a little, mumbling something about Spirit probably not enjoying that very much. The owl merely stared blankly at him, he sighed. "That's fair enough." He stated, his eyes flickering to look at Warrior, lifting an eyebrow at the beast. He still didn't like the feeling that thing gave him.

He stretched his arms above his head, he was still feeling a little lazy. Oblivion's competitive streak was low, this was merely fun for him, besides, he wanted to see what the boy could do, it'd be interesting to say the least. "No weapons.." He repeated again, frowning, he supposed weapons formed from whatever darkness he could muster up counted, he asked that as a question, and pushed his hair from his face, though he doubted the answer would be yes, since they still counted as weapons regardless of if he'd drawn them from thin air or not.</div>

Spirit looked up at the owl and growled: 'Move from there, feathers, unless you want to become a chicken soup. You're clogging my nose.' He snorted, shaking his head, as if he was really trying to get rid of something. William laughed, and reached out, knowing that he risks being bitten by both of them.

'Come on, move,', he told the owl, trying not to push her to hard and anger her, 'he's serious you know. He's gonna eat you just like that, even if you taste bad... So, Oblivion, you might want to tell her to move. Like, now.', he said, taking in the annoyed look in Spirit's eyes. 'And, yeah, darkness weapons count as weapons. Even sticks from the ground count as weapons. The point is that we fight bare handed, though in the Spirit's case that would be more like bare pawed? Don't worry, he won't use his teeth... Much.'

<div align=center>The Strix let out a distasteful sort of hoot, the animal thought about pecking Spirit for a moment, but Oblivion picked up on it and scolded the animal, she took wing and settled back onto his shoulder, she began to preen herself again, partly stretching one wing out so she could reach a little further along it, she was a clean animal, and Oblivion was grateful for that, even if she did like to bring him little dead gifts he didn't really appreciate. "Again, fair enough." The tone of voice he used was almost bored, he was beginning to get restless.

He won't use his teeth... Much. Oblivion laughed softly at that, a wicked smile flashing up across his pale features, "You can trust I won't use mine much, either, then." He mumbled, matter-of-factly, though if William could trust him, that was another story completely... Oblivion's teeth weren't as sharp as Spirit's, but they were sharp enough and he could deal damage with his jaw if he really wanted to. Biting was savage, though, and Oblivion preferred to come across as elegant rather than savage. He liked to think of himself as civilized, regardless of the fact he never really came into contact with humans.</div>

William snorted. 'Excuse me if I trust you on that as much as I will trust that bird not to rip me in pieces... Which means, not much, if at all.' He grinned, his teeth not abnormally sharp as Oblivion's were, but there was still something in his eyes that made the picture eeri. He did like the boy, but when he played the game of hunt, he would trust no one, not even Spirit, not unless some great trouble arised, something big enough to stop the hunt. He started barking out the orders to Warrior, the creature following his movements with his eyes, before nodding his head, once.

'It seems we are all ready to go.', he laughed, a deep, dark sound. 'So, let the games begin.' He suddenly turned around and ran. At first, there was nothing special about that, as it took some time for his latent power to wake up, but the further he got away, the faster he run, until he was at a speed that for a forest was unbelievable. He jumped over fallen trees and made sharp cuts in order to fool his prosecutors, walking through the first water he was in order to mask his smell, everything, anything, just to keep alive. He didn't think, he simply acted.

<div align=center>It all happened within a second or so, the boy was gone, and the owl had launched it's self from Oblivion's shoulder, spiraling upwards into the canopy, she had vanished in a matter of moments, much like the boy. Oblivion twitched, suddenly breaking into a sprint, it'll be easier to head him off. Though, heading someone off in a place like this was near impossible, William was smart, it hadn't taken him long to realize that. He was as agile, or maybe even moreso than himself, he was reckless and Oblivion hated to admit it, but that might just have given him the upper hand in this situation.

He picked his pace up a little more, losing concentration for a split second and almost collided with a tree, missing by an inch. A dark shadow appeared a short way above him, he realized the owl was following him, smart creature, he smiled, he'd lost sight of William, but if he listened hard enough he thought he could hear him, though perhaps that was something else. A burst of adrenaline suddenly tore through the boy, the game had only just started and he was having fun. He liked this game, he liked to hunt. Though whether he'd end up successful was another matter.</div>

This time, Spirit gave only a short sigh before bursting into run again. William's ideas, no matter how fun they seemed at first, were getting more and more reckless with each passing day, and he was afraid of that. He had to keep an eye on the boy, especially now, with both Warrior and the other boy in the game. Oblivion had the Stix with him and the damn bird could very well tear William's skin to pieces. As for Warrior... Well, he just couldn't be sure there, though it seemed he wasn't going after William from the beginning, the flash of silver hair disappearing after Oblivion. He sighed again, he had to find William first, or the boy could be seriously hurt time.

He chose to ignore the fact that he himself also liked the hunt, his blood singing in his veins. His purpose was supposed to be to protect, and this had nothing to do with that.. Well, almost nothing.

***

Warrior ran after Oblivion, his steps silent, almost non existent, as his body was still light, and empty. He had already chased his master over half of the forest, he knew every move William was going to make, and his master did say he could also chase after the other, so he did. His interest was forming as well as his consciousness of self as he followed after Oblivion.

***

William run without stopping, his breath still normal, if not light. He could stay like that for a half an hour, 35 minutes at most, before his breath would grow laboured and limbs heavy. He had to do everything he can until than, otherwise he could lose. He jumped over another fallen tree, before sliding under it, crossing his trail. This should keep whatever, if anything, followed his scent busy.

<div align=center>Oblivion whistled for the Strix to double back, he couldn't hear anything, but he had the inkling that something might be behind him, he picked his pace up, shaking the feeling away from himself. It was a strange feeling and it didn't like it, the boy made a sharp turn, changing direction suddenly and breaking into a sprint, the owl took a few moments to realize he had gone a different way, screeched, and followed him. He needed to get a little further away from the original point they had met before he used the Strix, she was useful, but only to the point where he knew he couldn't be hurt by Spirit or Warrior, he didn't feel like losing.

The owl changed direction mid air, Obie glanced upwards, and followed her, she generally knew this place better than he did, and her hearing was far better. She knew where someone was at least, though he had a small doubt at the back of his mind that she might have gone off track, she listened to her stomach more than her head sometimes, and though it was a cute sort of charm, it was also terribly frustrating, especially in a situation like the one he was in now.</div>

Well, that was a new one, although it was quite logical. William's scent was thick in the air, doubled at one point, and some meters behind it, all the way to the flow of the stream he had already stepped in and out off. Quite confusing, if you tried using your nose as Spirit was right now. It took him almost a full minute to realise that no, William's scent did not disappear, the boy was simply getting more and more cleaver, which was, in the end, a point of these little games. Spirit sighed, trying to forget about his nose for once, and simply focusing on that one big question 'Where is William?'

Something inside him suddenly pulled him to the right, strongly, which meant that William was close. Okay, so maybe the boy wasn't that clever... Spirit run, jumping through the bushes, only to bump into slightly surprised Warrior, who was still following Oblivion. Well, that didn't work quite alright...

***

William turned around only for a moment before he continued to run because he suddenly felt that Spirit and Warrior were in the same place. He bit his lip worriedly as he jumped over another tree and under another branch. This wasn't something he had thought about when he started the game, and it was a bit disconcerting to see two parts of his soul (in a way) facing off each other like that. He knew neither would be hurt by the other (hopefully) so he continued to run, but, still, there was something inside of him, telling him to stop... So he stopped, frozen in place. Listening, he heard the owl following him. He must have cut into Oblivion's trail by mistake while worrying about the other two.

<div align=center>Oblivion suddenly caught sight of the boy, he was a little way off, but he was within reach. He sped up suddenly, dodging a tree and trying to catch up with the boy. The owl switched into a dive position, swooping at William briefly in an effort to make him panic, and make him slow down. She was smart, though she wouldn't risk attacking him, that'd perhaps hurt him more than she wanted to, the aim was to merely catch him, not shred him to pieces. Oblivion whistled, the bird shrieked and picked up some height again, William was fast, much faster than Oblivion had anticipated, he'd almost forgotten about Spirit and Warrior.

A sly smile spread across his features, he wondered when his stamina would break, he couldn't keep up this speed forever, it was harder to sprint through trees, dodging was an art, and one Oblivion hadn't yet perfected, he was agile, sure, but perhaps not as agile as William. Obie tended to use threats and brute force to get his way most of the time, intelligence always bested brawn, he thought, though it seemed that William had plenty of intelligence, he was a fair match, and Oblivion respected him for it.</div>

Stopping in mid run, and turning around himself, he dodged down, and behind the tree in order to avoid the owl's attack, not caring whether it was really coming. He knew he didn't have enough speed of strenght to wait for a bird to attack and dodge her on time, plus, there was Oblivion to worry about as well. He couldn't imagine that the dark haired boy would simply rely on the Stix, much like he himself didn't want to simply rely on Spirit and Warrior, though they were there to protect him in the end.

He continued running soon enough in order to not break one of his own rules, not exactly turning back, as he didn't want to trip on something he was trying to dodge, but trying to keep a mental eye on the bird and the boy, making his senses run higher, hoping he could thus hear an attack he won't be seeing. He still had 40 more minutes before an end of an hour, which meant about 15 more of his enhanced speed. He had to run away.

***

Some 50 meters behind, Spirit was trying to keep Warrior busy, as well as avoid the tall figure's fast punches. Even without his swords, Warrior was still able to do some fast damage, Spirit's only advantage being his unusual shape which prevented the other creature from fighting full force, for now. Soon, he would get used to it, which meant that Spirit had to force first blood soon.
