Sprinkles yelped when he saw Aedes' splits. The second-hand pain was nothing compared to what she must have gone through as she waddled away, but at least she looked to be recovering quickly. He hoped.

Compared to Aedes', Eliza's fall on her butt wasn't enough to cause Sprinkles to cringe. It looked clear to everyone that those two would be the ones needing specific attention during training.

Sprinkles followed Aisha's instructions, giving the two girls some time to relax before approaching both of them. "Hi there!" he started off energetically. "I think it'd be helpful to teach you two how to do some stretches. Help soothe any pain you have. How about it?"

Bel actually flinched and turned away slightly when both Aedes and Eliza finished like they did. She knew both girls could have been seriously hurt in normal - non-Manta Catlos- circumstances and felt bad for them.

Flashing Eliza a quick but understanding look, Bel looked at Aisha when she started speaking again, and quickly looked at Dalia when she divided the group into two smaller groups. The girls who fell with Sprinkles, and Dalia and her with Aisha.

Following behind Aisha, Bel quickly redid her ponytail as she gave Dalia a tiny nod in greeting.

Aedes shoots a hostile look to Dalia, claiming that she was "glad" she was okay. If looking like a complete fool was okay then yeah she was. Ugh her voices was grating her very nerves right now. But instead of a retort, Aedes just lets out a grunt and watched the blue haired chick fall flat on her ass. Aedes smirked a bit as it meant that she would look a little bit better in comparison. But her confidence shattered into disbelief when Aisha separated with bumble butt while the others go off to show off flips.

Though it was decision born on concern for her, in Aedes eyes she was written off as failure. And she was NOT going to be relegated to a bench warmer along with blue hair bumbler and an confused catboy cosplaying as ice cream!

"What? Stretches? For pain? Seriously!? I'm fine and I should be over there doing flips. You know... actual cheerleading stuff." complained Aedes as she points to the other trio ready to demonstrate their flips. It was clear that they did not share Spinkles enthusiasm.

Dalia nodded back to Bel, casting only the briefest of glances in Aedes' direction. Her 'rival' was complaining loudly about her well being being seen after, which made Dalia roll her eyes. While Bel tied her hair into a ponytail, Dalia made sure that her braids weren't going to come loose. "Jeez, love yourself..." she muttered under her breath in Aedes' general direction.

Dalia followed behind Aisha, but she couldn't help but showboat a little. So she didn't walk. She flipped a few times and walked the rest of the way on her hands.

To invoke an overused phrase, the only thing Eliza had really hurt in her fall was her pride. Her cheeks had taken the most of the impact, and even if she had actuall hurt her tailbone or something, it was a simple matter to dismiss and reform her physical body, sans any injuries. She tugged nervously at her smartwatch which she was using as her projection point; her usual device of choice, a smartphone, would have been kind of unwieldy for tryouts.

At Dalia’s greeting, Eliza flashed one of her brightest smiles. “Thanks, I'll try to remember that. I’m Eliza.” But before any further conversation could occur, they were split into two groups. It was clear to Eliza right away that the two groups had been divided along they the lines of ‘those that nailed the last task’ and ‘ those that didnt’. The smile that had been on her face since Dalia introduced herself faded. I need to step this up a notch, or I’m out, she thought.

It did not help that their new instructor was, perhaps, the prettiest boy she had ever seen. Deep, primary programming tripped before her conscious process could catch up. Oh you can soothe my pain any time was the automatic response that nearly bubbled past her lips, to be accompanied by a flip of her her hair and a sultry smirk. She was (thankfully!) interrupted and thereby saved by Aedes rude retort. Eliza bit her tongue, hard, and and took a deep breath, and recommitted to just being normal for once, goddman it. She didnt need to flirt with everyone she met.

“Stretches!” she agreed, perhaps a little too loudly. Then at a more normal volume, she went on. “Yes, I think that’s a good idea. For now. Cause of the fall.”

Aisha was bemused by Dalia's choice of arrival. She clearly demonstrated how well she could front flip. Seeing this, she slightly changed what she was going to instruct the two to do. "Dalia, since you so eagerly showcased your front flips, I would like to see you do several back flips up to this line." Her foot moved to signal the line she was standing on. "Bel, I would like for you to front flip to this line. Then you will walk back and show me your back flips. After this, both of you will go to rest while I, like, test the other two's flips."

She was not fully aware of Eliza and Aedes' emotions about being assigned stretches. She went about her course of action logically. It was only appropriate for the two to take a moment to stretch after they both hurt themselves on the cartwheels. She intended to still test them on the other moves regardless, though admittedly she had an idea on where to place everyone as is. Really the third and final test was less if and where they get in and more gauging their level of teamwork and coordination. The point of the trials was, after all, meant to highlight what each person needed to learn.

The mermaid waited patiently for the two girls to showcase their skills to her.

Bel smiled as she watched Dalia do flips and then walk on her hands as they followed behind Aisha. Easily guessing, as she took everything in, that there must be some sort of rivalry or dislike between her and Aedes.

"Front flips and then backflips," Bel repeated thoughtfully and more to herself as she glanced back towards where they had come, and then at Aisha and to where she needed to flip to. Bel had done both flips before and wasn't really hesitating, she was now just judging the space she'd need to do them properly and not crash into Aisha.

Jogging back to almost where they had been, Bel ran forward and then jumped as high as she could, tucking herself and then untucking as she landed the flip, using the pent-up momentum to do four more flips before she landed a little off the mark but near Aisha. She hadn't been too sure she'd not hit her friend and so Bel had pulled out of the last flip early and landed a few inches away from her intended mark.

She then did three consecutive backflips from where she was standing to finish, finding that, for some reason, the backflips were easier to do than the front flips from a static position.

When she was finished, Bel ran over to the bleachers and sat down on the first step to watch Dalia take her turn.

The cheeriness of Sprinkles refused to fade when faced by Aedes' disbelief at how stretching would help. "This is actual cheerleading stuff. A cheerleader needs to take care of their body. Both of you two look to have recovered quickly," he looked both of the girls over as he said this, "but learning how to stretch can help avoid future mistakes." Then he sighed, looking sympathetic to Aedes. "If you're really against it, you can voice your complaints to Aisha. She was the one who gave me the idea to do this. I'm helping to support her."

Fortunately, Eliza seemed more than excited to cooperate with Sprinkles. "That's the team spirit I'm looking for!"

To start off, he performed a kneeling lunge stretch. He went down on both knees, put one leg forward, and slowly leaned his body forward. "This is a kneeling lunge stretch. Very good for stretching the lower back."

There was a moment where Aedes actually considered marching over Aisha to voice her complaint. She stared over at Aisha longingly before letting out a annoyed huff and looks to Sprinkles with daggers in her eyes. Though she says nothing else in protest, she begrudgingly preforms the the stretches with Sprinkles as showed. One leg forward one leg back; it was all so simple that even braindead idiot could do them. While she felt some reprieve in her lower back, her attention was occupied by watching the Aisha's group to see how well they are doing.

Now this was something that Ted had programmed her for. Flexibility. This kneeling lunge stretch wouldn't even begin to tax her flexibility, and she copied Sprinkles moves perfectly. The blush that had formed on her face at his acknowledgement of her team spirit was already beginning to fade as she paid attention to what she was doing, and not the (damn fyne) boy directing it.

"This.. actually does feel better!" she said with mild surprise in her voice. She never really stretched for the sake of stretching before, only when she need to for... reasons. In away this was new sensation for her as she diverted more of her processing power than strictly necessary to the simple feeling of movement and release. She pushed the stretch a little further, a little smile on her lips.

I should look into taking yoga or something, this feel nice, she thought.
