Appearance Description:
Former delinquent turned businessman aesthetic.
Bennett is tall and lanky at six feet tall. He's got, generally, a mix of sharp and thin features, but also has a lot of wiry muscle hidden away- and the aura of someone who'd be very skilled at bashing your head in with a crowbar, if he were to do anything physical at all. And although he wears the fancy, expensive clothes very well, he probably wouldn't mind getting blood on them.
Bennett has black sclera, and violet eyes with horizontal pupils. Goat eyes. Along with goat ears (they're pierced once, and often have gold studs in them), and a short, fluffy goat tail. His hair is feathery in texture, white in color, and in a short and spiked style. His eyebrows are precise and dark. He has violet, with some indigo swirled in, curving horns. He has fangs stuffed in with his normal teeth. They are indeed very bitey.
Bennett has brown skin, and is of very mixed race roots. He never knew the specifics.
Bennett usually wears things in violet/purple/indigo, black, and with bits of gold. He likes suits, and no matter the situation, he dresses to show off. He almost always wears gloves, and doesn't leave fingerprints.
Bennett usually has a vague 'judging my surroundings' look on his face, just as a default. Not because he's got a resting jerk face, just because that's literally what he's usually absently doing.
Personality Description:
Ambitious. Disciplined. Intelligent. Cold. Ruthless.
A street kid's pride, wits and brutality mixed in with the careful, thoughtfully dangerous edge of a high class, educated businessman- Bennett is a best of both world's pack of withdrawn and manipulative. He's willing to do anything to win, whether that means right now, or later on, when you're not expecting it.
Bennett is very patient, and self confident (and self centered), but not all that confident of others. He can be very judgmental, and while he knows the dance moves, how to act and sound to make people listen to and like you, to do whatever you want, he doesn't know the music behind it all. When acting, he doesn't so much cover up his true nature as much as he intensifies, shows off, and focuses on the features that those around him tend to enjoy and see as ideal- which makes his manipulations all the more realistic. He doesn't lie (always), he just exaggerates, and uses his own willpower to make things seem so much more solid.
He's very much a pessimist, and thinks of it as self preservation. He always appreciates the little things since he started out with less than nothing.
Bennett doesn't trust anyone, hugely because he wouldn't trust himself if he was looking in from someone else's perspective, and additionally just due to his background, where you had to be like that to survive. Bennett has never had genuine close relationships, and barely enjoyed (or at least, never let himself enjoy) even the faked things.
Bennett is very good with self control, being very purposeful in the things he does, and responsibility. He's very careful, almost always thinking before doing something (unless he gets carried away with being competitive or judging someone too hard).
Bennett's humor is sharp, sarcastic, and intellectual. He likes bantering with others and having them able to keep up. He also enjoys things that are more complicated and take longer/more effort to set up. He likes quality, and can spot it a mile away, easily picking out better and more important things out from other less worthy specimens.
Bennett is very smart, and very determined, and believes greatly in the strength of his own willpower. He works best when he has a goal or plan in mind already.
Sometimes Bennett helps others more than he means to, just out of an intent to do things the right way, and being annoyed when seeing them just not getting to that point.
Bennett's morals are extremely grey, with darker leanings- but he doesn't do nasty things for the hell of it, at least. He does it to get ahead (That doesn't mean he can't enjoy it, just that the initial intent isn't purely 'for the evulz').
His biggest fear is death, then loss of power/loss of ability to claw his way back up, and being trapped with only his own shame over his own failure to dwell on. In the end, he'd do anything to ensure his own continued survival, to live to win another day.

Goat Demon
Due to his demon status (which is separated here, but very linked to his zodiac status), Bennett has the usual enhanced senses, strength, and durability. He has a few specific goat themed perks, as well. Gives off the expected demonic vibe.
Always edible:
Although he doesn't usually want to (ignoring his curious goat instincts to figure things out by nibbling on them), Bennett can gnaw on and stomach just about anything.
Climbing/Balance/Agility:
Bennett has ridiculous natural skill at climbing up untouchable looking surfaces, balancing on thin dangerous places, and general agility. Also good at squirming through things and digging in to escape route possibilities.
Capricorn Incarnate
Bennett is, left untouched, immortal. He cannot die of natural means, or disease, as long as he holds on to his zodiac and demon status. He can't die from lack of sustenance, although such things will be painful. He has a healing ability, which is quick with small wounds, slower with bigger ones. He can die from more intense things like having his head cut off, being burned to ashes, etc.
There's a lot he'll toughen through and not die from, but he can feel pain just like anyone else, even with a bit more initial durability that comes from his demon status.
Success and nothing less:
Bennett will always win, always succeed. Whether in a big or small way, that's the question, but he cannot come out of a situation without gaining something. Even at times where it was impossible to win, he'll receive some kind of gift or win soon after, as a form of cosmic good karma. The major problem with this, his defining and most intense ability, is that it can be vague and unpredictable- but ultimately reliable, at least. And Bennett, with enough overall ambition, determination, and diligence to outdo anyone, is just the person to use it.
This ability can be patient, and looks at the big overarching picture and scheme of things, rather than little petty things, for the most part. It's also fairly status based and determined to gain fame and fortune for its user. These things are what sets it apart from a more everyday luck power. When Bennett goes out of his way to personally use and steer it towards particular things, he has to especially have a plan of things and his ideal endgame in mind. When he takes the control, he has to stay in control, be cautious and purposeful.
This ability cannot do something that would be totally illogical for Bennett to achieve on his own, it just gives a major boost/automatic/quicker aspect to certain things. It also can't do things for Bennett that would be completely outside of his own ideas and goals for himself, even if that would actually be better for him. All around the ability is an automatic karma sort of thing, adding to good luck and making up for bad things with gifts.
He also has the overall, powerful aura of someone successful, important, and attention grabbing.
Bennett gains temporary power/invulnerability levels with his own current success status and determination levels.
When he's low on willpower or determination, which he hasn't had happen to him all that much, his success abilities will fade and be harder to access.
Biography:
Bennett doesn't remember ever not being a street kid, in the beginning, and not having a name until he gave himself one. It was simply how things were. And he never felt settled in it, never felt like he deserved or fit in that situation, fit as helpless.
Just as he'd never not been an orphan on the streets, there was only a tiny bit of time before Bennett was pulling cons. While he could pickpocket and break into places like the rest of them, Bennett was patient, as well as surprisingly intelligent, a quick learner of the right ways to act when trying to get people to be comfortable with and believe you. Bennett was good at noticing and taking in the little things, recognizing quality over quantity, and when things really meant something.
As a teenager, Bennett actually started getting himself into trusted and decently earning job positions, as well as close to important people. He went through online school with perfect grades in this time period, as well. He only got more ambitious as he grew older, longing for solid positions of power rather than temporary money-grab cons. Positions where the riches and glory just kept coming in.
He also developed a fear of an end, of falling from power as well as just. Stopping. Permanently.
After hearing some interesting rumors about a very, very rich and successful man- that was now very old and lonely- he started on a long con around that person as soon as he was eighteen, while additionally doing a business major in college.
Bennett and the man spent a great deal of time together, with the man becoming very attached to his new companion. He told him everything over their time together (almost three years, Bennett planned to wrap up both his dealings with this man and his college work at the same time), his secrets, his regrets- everything. Eventually, that included the details of his zodiac status.
Bennett was passed on the strong willed and success oriented Capricorn title and abilities, and as soon as that was solidly confirmed for him, he poisoned the previous Capricorn.
All Bennett saw, even now looking back upon it, was a pitiful failure of a Capricorn incarnate who'd lost sight of his own ambition and gotten too sluggish. Who'd allowed himself to be tricked by a pretty face.
Even though that man truly had fallen in love with him, and died more satisfied than he'd been in a long, long time.
Bennett inherited the man's money, possessions, and property as well as his powers, and spent a decent amount of time making sure these things were solid and safe, as well as that it wasn't obvious he now owned all of it. It wasn't impossible to find with digging, but also not public and in the spotlight information. No, Bennett needed to earn his glory himself, and then add it on to the trophies he'd earned so quietly before.
Bennett traveled a lot and worked at started his own business over the years, then just very recently has been moving himself and his company into Manta Carlos with high hopes and ambitions.

Actually more rich than he lets on- from inheriting the last Capricorn's wealth- but quietly hoarding and being cautious with it, regulating himself as to not have some delusion that he's set, and end up growing stagnant or lazy. He's most casual with the money he earns full by himself, and through the most honest means (which can sometimes be rare, shady dealings are necessary to get ahead, after all).
