Eros froze, and chuckled rather awkwardly. He didn't think Samael would hold him back like this, even if it wasn't as much as trapping him. He shot the man a sheepish smile as he shrugged. "Yeah, I... I believe you can resist it, but you feel it, don't you? Which means I'm putting a strain on you and I don't like that."

He should've expected as much. It was wrong for him to hope for otherwise. After all, the only ones who haven't felt anything while exposed to his power were two grumpy old men with rude personalities.

Eros was just about to leave again, having pulled his wrist away from Samael's hold, when he saw the frown on the said man's face. It made him feel disappointed, too, that he couldn't stay. Samael was really nice. And honestly, he asking for Eros' number brought a stronger shock than being pinned against a wall. In a good way.

"Sure. That sounds like a good idea." He brought his phone out and held it for Samael, while holding out his free hand for the man's phone, too. "Let's exchange numbers. I swear next time we meet, my wards wouldn't be running out this fast."

''It's alright'', Samael said, giving Eros a bright but still comforting smile as he turned to pull his phone out of where he had put it down after his call to Michael had ended. ''I understand why you need to leave'', he said, his phone now in his hand, a new contact list opened.

''Though I do hope you understand what I said as well'', he said, his hand reaching out to hand his phone to Eros so he could write his number down in it. ''Because even though I can feel the the pull of your powers, yeah, it's not really overwhelming or anything. At least not for now'', he said, as he tried to feel out how strong the strain on his body and mind was. ''So there is no need to be afraid, or anything. Well'', he said then, his eyes rising to look around the mostly empty cafeteria before settling back on Eros. ''At least not from me.''

He said nothing more about the man staying, though, for he had both realised just now that he was not the only person around who could be affected by the pull of Eros's power, and sure, if anybody tried anything they would be stopped instantly, by him if by nobody else, but it would still make for an uncomfortable situation. Besides, he had already realised a few moments before that Eros was truly uncomfortable with the idea of staying while his powers were uncontrolled, and if the situation was so, one should always leave. Ne point in staying and prolonging it.

''I hope we'll talk again soon'', he simply said in the end, giving the other man another smile.
