In this alternative universe, Iesha was born on snake farm which harvested boas for their skins and meat. In the first year of her life she was small and malnourished given her squalor conditions in her over crowded container. Many of her siblings that she grew up with she watched one by one die of poor conditions or butchered on the skinning table that was in full view of her cage. Seeing this cruelty and death around, Iesha always wondered when it is that she will be next.
Thankfully for the young snake, the snake farm was shut due to violations in safety, animal cruelty and tax evasion. The remaining snakes were removed from the facility and sold off to licences pet stores as collateral. Iesha in particular was quickly sold off to wealthy collector after she learned of the serpents story. Iesha's new owner Nancy adored her new pet and took great care of the snake that she named Iesha. After nearly two years, Iesha finally seemed to warm up to her new caring owner and has grown an impressive size for her age thanks to a better diet.
Iesha AU history mirrors her real life in which she had to witness humans kill and butcher her family in front of her and the ensuing captivity in a cramped cage somewhere in Northern Africa. Her rescue by is similar in both accounts though in her real life she was rescued by freedom fighters while on the AU it was the work of a government agency. Finally, Iesha being adopted by Nancy draws parallels her adoptive mother Narraine when she similarly took Iesha in after learning about Iesha's tragic backstory.
